Simple Habits to Create a Lifetime of Health and Wealth

Daily Prosperity Habits that Make You Prosperous

Success isn’t created in a microwave, but a slow cooker crock pot.  What Are We Here For? One of the challenges of living in today’s fast paced, multi-tasking, don’t have time to smell the roses world, is that we miss the opportunity to see the miracles, the joy, the boundless good and the wealth, health and happiness that surround us.

We rush from one thing to the next with hardly a chance to savour any of it.  Our successes pass us by in a blur. We’re flicking through life as remotely as we do our television and we’re missing the point of the whole shooting match.

Have you noticed that as a society, material success, the search for wealth, health and happiness and instant gratification fill our airwaves and are in our faces on every magazine cover?

Life is full of winners and losers, based on someone else’s definition of what that is. And heaven knows we all want to be winners. Don’t we? Life Has A Purpose

But what are we actually winning?

Each demand we respond to is really one we place upon ourselves and yes they might all seem to be vital to our life, after all that’s what we’re told on a daily basis. But this is how you and I reach saturation point.  Lovingly called burnout.

Here’s a little secret if you have to convince yourself that this goal or that obligation is absolutely necessary when your inner self says otherwise. You should listen to your inner self.  It knows best.

Eleven Habits to Take Every Day to Manifest Prosperity

Wake up each day when you are finished sleeping.

This isn’t said to sound cute or flippant.   The truth is alarm clocks were a terrible invention.  Your body has an almost miraculous ability to restore, rebuild, and regenerate itself – if you simply allow it to go to sleep when it’s tired and wake up when it’s ready.  Start going to bed early enough that you can allow your body to wake up naturally each morning in time to get to work and handle your daily responsibilities.

Speak a few affirmations out loud before you get out of your bed.

If you’ve never done this before, you might feel self-conscious or silly, but the practice is anything but silly.  You actually program your subconscious mind with positive expectations for the day.  And the subconscious mind doesn’t question or analyze, it simply does what it’s programmed to do. The Mental Equivalent By Emmet Fox

Some of my favorites:

  • I feel strong, happy, and energetic.
  • I am blessed.
  • It’s a beautiful day.
  • I celebrate another day clean and sober.
  • Today is going to be amazing.

Make your bed.

This is a secret weapon for prosperity.  Doing this is such a simple, easy action to take, but the upside is extraordinary. You start off the day employing self-discipline, snatch a quick win by accomplishing something right away, and send a message to yourself about your worthiness. And it makes the environment around you more harmonious. University of Texas Commencement Address – Admiral William H. McRaven

Take at least 20 minutes for personal development time.

I believe the quality of your day is created before you ever leave the house in the morning.  When you start your consciousness vibrating at a higher energy, you attract people and circumstances throughout the day that are also vibrating at that energy level.  FINDING YOUR PURPOSE – HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE?

Meditate, pray, or read, listen to, or watch inspirational things.  You can increase the benefits you’ll receive from this practice exponentially, if you pair it with exercise.  Ex: listening to a podcast while you’re jogging or watching a video on the treadmill.

Drink in some fresh air and sunshine.

This is vital no matter how busy your day is, and even more vital on the busiest days. Even if it means you have to do it from a balcony or sticking your head out of a window.

Eat living food.  (And drinks.)

The equation here is pretty simple but profound.  Eat living food to live longer, eat dead food to die sooner.  Raw fruits and vegetables and fresh squeezed juices made from them contain living enzymes.  Pizza, pasta, candy, chips, cookies, crackers and other staples of our diet today are dead and contain no living enzymes.

Make a tangible demonstration to yourself that you are worthy and deserve prosperity.

There are millions of people that simply can’t accept a compliment or a gift – from themselves.  This stems from worthiness issues. Even if it makes you feel uncomfortable at the start, you must treat yourself better, and demonstrate you believe in your own worthiness.

On a regular basis you should treat yourself to a massage, spa day, or manicure/pedicure.  And every day you should give yourself something like a meditation break, candlelight dinner, or some fresh flowers.

Shut down your phone or other device 60 to 90 minutes before bedtime.

The last thing you want to program your subconscious mind with before retiring is doom scrolling through social media.  After you turn off the device, leave it to recharge in a different room than where you sleep.

Before going to sleep, reflect on three things you are grateful about for the day.

This is exactly the kind of thing you do want to program your subconscious mind with before retiring.  The more gratitude you express, the more blessings you will attract to you.

Do all nine of these behaviors every day and you’ll be amazed how quickly your life can be transformed.  You may want to bookmark this page or use the print or PDF buttons above, so you can review the list when needed.

Simple Secret to Wealth, Health and Happiness

There is a simple secret to wealth, health and happiness…learn how to think.

This is the one true secret, the one cause for making and maintaining your ideal life.  You don’t need to be rushing around trying to be a winner based on someone else’s perspective. The Richest Man in Babylon

Everyone simply wants to be happy.  This underlies every desire we have, be it for greater wealth, health, relationships…anything.

Learning How to Think is the key.  The Master Key That Opens Doors To Metaphysical Miracles No pressure, no rushing around, no missing out on the joys that exist every single day. The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel Use the MKS Master Key System and Coaching. You will Learn How To:

  • Think of current experiences only in terms of happy outcomes.
  • Concentrate on what you want.
  • Not to think from old events or conditions.
  • Not to complain, only to decide what you’d rather have.
  • To choose your thoughts wisely.
  • To remember there is no power outside of you at work in your life.
  • To take care of the inner things and the outer will take care of itself.
  • That persistent thinking in one direction will take you there.
  • To see others experiencing the best and it will soon appear for you.
  • It is the time to feel happy and to be aware of joy.

As long as you can think, you can change your experiences.

2. Assumptions

Recently I was looking at someone who, in the old days I would have believed, needed to change and yes, sad to say, I would have worked on them thinking the world would be better if they would be different.

Well, at least my world would be.  And yes, I know that’s pretty cringeworthy…just keeping it real my darlings.

Today I’m looking at my reactions and recognizing that I’m not totally awake since I have an old mechanical, automatic, reaction that needs to be changed. Me that has to change…not the other person.

I don’t want to experience the fruits of that state, I don’t think they’d be sweet enough for me, and I have a super deluxe sweet tooth!

So I’m choosing to control my thoughts, and allow only those that conform to my ideal to flow from me, knowing that my world will reshape itself in harmony with any new thought I have, provided it’s a thought connected to a feeling.

Each time an old thought enters, instead of dwelling on it, I say to myself it’s just a thought and instantly the power it had dissipates and I can get back to my new, more lovely way of thinking.

I  can’t keep these old reactions and move into a new and higher state containing all the things I desire.

The person I desire to be, the ideal me that I have in mind, can’t be brought about without a change in my reactions to life.  If I’m faithful to this ideal my reactions will fit in perfectly so I know I’m on the right track.  If my reactions aren’t in harmony with this ideal then all I’m doing is thinking of it and it becomes a pointless exercise.

That’s not the kind of thinking that creates anything new.  Thinking as though I already were the person I wanted to be, the one who had what I wanted to have, is the only way.

Our very expectations of something, be it something we desire or not, is an act of creation. So I need to expect the best and that means keeping my thinking focused on experiencing only the best.  As defined by me, of course.  Your best might be something entirely different.

As my mentor Neville Gardner says “I have assumed that I am the man I want to be.  I am still assuming that I am he, and I will continue to assume that I am he until that which I have assumed is objectively realized.”

3. Live Authentically

If living a life that’s full of wonder and authenticity, of delirious happiness and joy, filled to the brim with meaning and purpose in a way that resonates with your heart and soul is what you desire then I challenge you to learn how to think.

Because living a passive life, without inner direction just won’t do the trick.

What Keeps You Broke?

You probably don’t really desire more money…

How many times have you heard a motivational speaker or author speak that weary old line about how much money you would save a year if you brewed your own coffee and didn’t buy one from a coffeeshop?  It’s true, you could save a lot of money.

It’s also terrible advice for creating a prosperous life…

In fact, YouTube, television shows, blogs, books, podcasts, and radio programs are packed with dreadful advice on how to become prosperous.  Some of it is only money-centric, about amassing a larger net worth without considering the holistic aspects of an abundant life.

The problem with this approach is that if you spend all your time and energy trying to scrimp, save, and coupon, you might actually be hurting your progress towards creating wealth.  And if your predominant approach is geared on how to acquire more money, that won’t factor in the many other elements of living prosperously.   To only focus on wealth causes you to lose sight of something profound:

You probably don’t really desire more money…

What you actually desire are the things you can exchange that money for.  This is why as soon as they receive money, most people immediately trade it for the things they really want: Ariana Grande’s new album, a yearly suite at Cowboys Stadium, pair of Yeezys, Monet, etc.

This is not meant to demean or diminish the value of money.  Only a fool discounts the role money can play in living a happy, healthy, and prosperous life.  Sometimes the things you want to trade your money for can bring you greater freedom or security, which can contribute to prosperity.

Before you affirm that money doesn’t buy happiness, you should also reflect upon the fact that being broke doesn’t buy happiness either.

Let’s not disparage money, but simply recognize the actual role it can play in doing what you probably really want: to manifest prosperity.

And also recognize that amassing greater and greater amounts of money doesn’t equate to living prosperously. True prosperity requires that you take that wealth and also integrate other nuanced aspects of prosperity. Elements such as:

  • Vibrant health.
  • Spiritual grounding.
  • Positive consciousness.
  • Empowering relationships.
  • Work or a mission that brings challenge, adventure, and growth to your life.

This leads you to the “sweet spot” where you truly are in gratitude for all that you do have and become – yet still have the passion desire, and capacity to do, have, and become more.  This approach can lead you to creating a prosperous life.

Much of the other horrible advice about prosperity isn’t money-centric.  It purports to be about developing prosperity consciousness but is actually saturated in poverty consciousness.

These pundits teach that you’re immoral to desire a beautiful home and the secret is lowering your desires to the point you are happy with a cramped apartment.

The problem with this rationale is that if it is followed to its logical conclusion, you would have to keep lowering your expectations until you would be content with no electricity and running water, grubbing for berries outside your thatched hut.

Here’s a small sample of the conventional wisdom being disseminated about prosperity, that I would instead categorize as poverty consciousness bullshit:

  • Fly economy instead of business or first class.
  • Microwave a frozen pizza instead of getting a fresh hot pie delivered from a pizzeria.
  • Only buy used cars.
  • Take the “city view” (dumpster behind the restaurant next door view) hotel room instead of the water view.
  • Buy a condo on the lower floors.
  • Plastic flowers instead of real.

I could save literally thousands of dollars a year if I chose to cancel my fresh flower deliveries and replace them by buying three vases of plastic flowers. Personally, it’s hard to conceive of a more soul-crushing capitulation to living a hollow life than buying a plastic flower arrangement.  FFS, what is prosperous about that?

Many of you deprive yourself of prosperity because you believe forsaking the things and experiences that bring you joy makes you noble, virtuous, or guarantees you eternal life.

But take my word for it, Buddha, Jesus, or the prophet Muhammad wouldn’t be impressed because you declined the ocean front room in Hawai’i.  It’s much more likely they would think you hadn’t been paying attention to their teachings or the lives they lived.

#ProTip No true God or spiritual leader will be impressed by your attempt to impress them. (Quite the opposite.)

This is not to say you should purchase some TUMI luggage, book two first class tickets to Tahiti, and snag an oceanfront suite.

If you are only earning 50,000 dollars or euros a year, it wouldn’t be prudent to buy the new Bentley Continental GT.  It may be sensible right now for you to live in a smaller home, dine out less frequently, or limit your expenditures on entertainment.  Just don’t confuse these actions of sensible restraint as the pathway to prosperity.  They’re simply a tiny element in the course you must pursue to become prosperous.

Because we trek around the world so much, traveling in luxury is important to me. For some people it might be collecting art, and for others it could be going fishing on the weekends.

The ideal situation requires finding balance between allowing yourself some of the luxuries that enhance your life now, while deferring other things to invest those resources in actions that will guarantee a prosperous life in the future.  (This future, not some afterlife future.)

Allow us to provide you with some much more effective advice to create financial security and manifest a healthy, happy, and prosperous life.

Top 3 Money Goals:

  1. Become Debt-Free

Make your number one, overriding money goal to become debt-free, as quickly as possible.  Debt should only be used to leverage more prosperity, never to pursue instant gratification.

2. Harness the Power of Leverage.

Make your number two money goal to find ways to harness the power of leverage.  Leverage is the superpower for building wealth. You have to escape the limiting model of trading time for money, in order to create quantum leaps in your wealth building.

3. Put Your Wealth to Work

Make your number three money goal to put your wealth to work, so you wake up every day wealthier than you were when you went to sleep the evening before.

Top 3 Prosperity Goals:

  1. Become the Highest Possible Version of Yourself.

Make your number one, overriding prosperity goal to become the highest possible version of yourself. This automatically creates collateral effects to improve your health, relationships, and overall success.

2. Your Optimal Physical Health

Make your number two prosperity goal to maintain, or if necessary, regain or obtain, your optimal physical health.  If your thinking isn’t clean, and your body can’t keep up with your mind, it’s extremely difficult to take the steps you will need to take.

3. Creating Moments in Your Life.

Make your number three prosperity goal to be about creating moments in your life.  Don’t live in the past with regret, don’t live in the future with fear, live in the moment in awe. No one lies on their deathbed thinking about the Lamborghini they owned.  They reflect on the magical moments with those they love.

Choosing the Extraordinary Life

MAKE YOUR GREATEST IMPACT TODAY!

The foundation for living an extraordinary life is discovering the unique purpose for which God created and gifted you. Your ultimate purpose in life will always be related to glorifying God, as Elijah’s life illustrates.

Creating a life plan can help you feel more in control of your life and provide a clear path toward the things you want. The process of making a life plan starts with creating a document to record your thoughts and ideas either with pen and paper or electronically. However you choose to document your life plan, make sure it is easily accessible where you will remember to review it often. Use this guide to help you make a life plan.

What is a MKS Life Plan?

A life plan is a roadmap for your life that helps you prioritize what is important to you, make decisions based on your priorities and move toward the life you want. It should provide a clear path for your life, but it should also be flexible. As your life changes, your values and priorities may also change.

A life plan is a living, breathing document that requires periodic attention to ensure it accurately reflects your life. It is your own personal guide to how you want to live, what is important to you and what you need to do to achieve the life you want.

A Life Plan creates a roadmap for your life, through a facilitated journey that helps you gain clarity on where you are, where you want to be, and the key steps to get there.

Why is a MKS Life Plan Important?

A life plan is important to help you take control of your life and your future. In creating a life plan, you identify your values, what is important to you and what you want in your life. Then, when faced with decisions, you measure your options against your values and choose the option that best aligns with your priorities or that moves you forward on your chosen path.

Whether it’s a simple decision such as spending money on something you don’t really need versus saving your money to fulfill a dream of starting your own business, or a major decision such as a career change, a life plan helps you clearly decide what is right for you.

Every one of us, at one time or another, asks deep, foundational questions about identity, vocation and purpose:

Who am I? What am I called to do? What are the right next steps to get there?

Many of us try to answer those questions with personality assessments, skills inventories, and conversations with close friends and mentors. Those can be helpful starting points, but the biggest questions of life deserve an intentional, integrated process led by a master Guide.

The MKS Master Key System Life Plan does just that, leveraging the power of the MKS Master Key System Process for your life. Together with your Guide, you’ll begin by discovering where you truly are and what brought you here, then move to create a visionary future that is rooted in truth and clarity about where you want to go. Finally, you’ll create an action plan with tangible next steps, designed to help you make your greatest impact.

Through the MKS Master Key System Life Plan, you’ll be guided with powerful questions and accessible tools to masterfully surface insights, create clarity, and ultimately lead you to breakthrough.

We Believe Great Success Starts with Great Process; Ours Starts with You!

How We Make a Life Plan With You

Creating a life plan is one of the best things you can do to identify the things you most want in your life and develop the strategy to make them happen. Here are the steps we take with you to help you create a life plan:

  1. Create a vision.
  2. Perform a self-assessment.
  3. Prioritize your life.
  4. Identify your values.
  5. Establish goals.
  6. Outline an action plan.
  7. Complete Implementation

1. We’ll Help You Create a Vision of Your Better Future

Allow yourself to dream big. Imagine what an average day in your ideal life looks like. Imagine where you work, what kind of work you do and the income you earn. Imagine your relationships with friends and family.

Maybe your ideal life means gaining new skills to find a more fulfilling job. Maybe it is honing your skills to increase your marketability and find a higher paying job. Maybe it’s working from home to spend more time with your family.

Imagine the kind of person you want to be and how you want others to perceive you. For example, you may want your colleagues to know that you are reliable in delivering your work. You may want your manager to respect you as someone punctual in meeting deadlines and accountable for your quality of work.

Think about the things you want to improve in your life. This can include different areas in life, such as finances, career or health. It may entail some weaknesses you want to overcome. Consider how you will measure your improvement and define success. Clearly define what success means to you

2. We’ll Help You Perform a Self-Assessment for Greatness

To perform a thorough life assessment, you need to be honest with yourself and what you want. A life assessment includes considering factors like the roles you have in life, your satisfaction with different areas of your life and your various strengths and weaknesses.

Reviewing your life from different perspectives allows you to develop a holistic evaluation. Practice self-reflection to clarify your roles and satisfaction in different areas of life. If you struggle with assessing your strengths and weaknesses, ask several people close to you who will give you an objective opinion.

Everyone fills different roles in life. Brainstorm a list of the different roles you play. Examples of roles include student, coworker, employee, manager, entrepreneur, volunteer, spouse, parent and sibling. In the next step, you’ll prioritize these roles and identify the values you want to bring to each one.

Consider different areas of your life such as career, finances, personal development, community, health, relationships and faith. Look at each area of your life and rank your satisfaction in that area on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being ‘needs a lot of work’ and 10 being ‘best’.

Identify your strengths and weaknesses. These can be either technical skills or soft skills. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses allows you to decide where to focus your energy—which weaknesses to improve or which strengths to highlight.

3. We’ll Help You Prioritize Your Life to Meet All Your Goals

Now that you have identified the roles you play in life, the areas you want to improve and your strengths and weaknesses, you can prioritize these to discover what is most important to you.

Review your list of roles and reorder them according to what is most important in your life. For example, your role as a parent or a manager may be more important to you than your role as an employee or student.

Also, prioritize the areas of your life to identify what is most important to you. For example, your health and family may be more important than your work or hobbies. When prioritizing areas of life, it’s also important to consider how different areas are related. For example, you may prioritize family over finances, but some financial goals are necessary to care for your family. Establishing that one is more important to you does not decrease the value of another; it simply indicates the areas you want to focus more attention on.

Prioritizing your roles and the areas you want to focus on will help you identify your values and non-negotiables when it comes to your career. For example, if your family is among your top priorities, you may prefer a career with a good work/life balance that requires little or no travel for an organization that is close to home and respects employees’ non-working hours.

4. We’ll Help You Identify Your Personal Core Values

Comparing how your life is now and what you want your life to be will help you identify your values. Allowing yourself to feel and analyze the difference clarifies your core values. The person you imagine yourself to be—with the life you imagine—lives by these values. They represent who you are as a person even if you’re still working to realize them.

When you identify your values and what is important in your life, they become a measuring tool for every decision. Decisions become much easier because you can clearly see what does and does not align with your values. For example, you might value work that is gratifying and serves your purpose more than you value the size of your paycheck. Understanding this helps you narrow your job search to opportunities that are more gratifying instead of any position with a higher salary.

5. We’ll Help You Establish Your Goals in Major Areas of Life

Now that you have an idea about the life you want and what is important in your life, establish high-level goals for the person you want to be. These goals are the things you want to accomplish over several months or years. They may include things like achieving an executive-level management position or earning a specific annual salary within a certain timeframe. They may also include obtaining a job with income and the freedom to vacation with your family twice a year.

For each role and area of your life, consider the big goals you want to accomplish, but also make them realistic. You will want to ensure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely.

6. We’ll Help You Outline an Action Plan So You Win at Life

Your high-level goals are the person you want to be and the things you want to achieve in life. Now you need to reverse-engineer those goals to identify action steps that align with your values and move you forward.

These action steps are your ground-level goals for actions you take to achieve your high-level goals. For example, if a high-level goal is to change careers, a ground-level goal may be to obtain training and practice skills for the new career or start hobbies that help you build new skills. Your action plan is the steps you need to take to work toward the life you want.

7. We’ll Help You Implement Your Action Plan for a Greater Life Success

The benefits of an action plan are simple: you have now outlined what action steps and what resources are needed to reach your stated project goals. By having this all collected in a single document, you can more successfully plan out how to execute your life plan.

People get overwhelmed by life management jargon when having to plan out a project, but the word action everyone can understand. The fundamentals to implementing you life action plan requires application of these basic steps:

1. Define your Project Goals

2. Define your Life Objectives

3. Define Action Steps.

4. Identify and Prioritize Action Items

5. Define Roles & Responsibilities

6. Allocate Resources

7. Set SMART Goals

8. Set a Timeline for your Action Plan

9. Write an Action Plan Template

10. Use a Life Management Tool

MKS Master Key System Life Plan Clients

The MKS Master Key System Life Plan has helped tens of thousands of people, from every arena of life.

I divide my professional life into halves; before the MKS Master Key System Life Plan and after. While I was ambitious before, I was distracted and lacked focus. The MKS Master Key System Life Plan helped take my shot-gun life and turn it into a laser. I’m more focused and on task than ever before. And grateful.

I did a MKS Master Key System Life Plan many years ago. I can’t recommend the process enough. It is an incredibly clarifying and telling experience for anyone at a crossroads or just looking for more purpose and meaning in their daily life.

The Power of a Great Question

[1]: How Is the MKS Master Key System Life Plan Different From Other Life Planning Processes?

The unique approach of the MKS Master Key System Life Plan process is the attention we devote to getting perspective. All too often, the temptation is to move straight to planning.

In the process, which has been around for 100+ years, we spend up to 70% of our time getting clear perspective across every area of your life – your backstory, your current reality, your talents, your heart, and your thinking; and across every domain of your life – personal, family, vocation, and community.

Only when you have clear perspective do we move to planning.  We don’t just guide others; all of our Life Plan Guides have themselves gone through the process and are living out their own Life Plan; we only guide others on a journey that we ourselves are on.

[2]: What’s the BEST MKS Master Key System Life Plan Option for Me?

All of our offerings can help you to craft a plan for your life that activates your life purpose and moves you toward your life vision. Our recommendation is always for our customized 2-day experience (3-days for Couples) facilitated in person with one of our MKS Master Key System Guides.

There’s nothing quite like setting aside dedicated time to strategically pause from life to discover what’s truly unique about you and to put a plan in place for moving forward. If the full MKS Master Key System Life Plan experience is beyond your means for now, our self-guided Life Plan Launch option is purposefully crafted to help you to discover your unique creative purpose. Each MKS Master Key System Life Plan experience is designed to guide you towards increasing levels of clarity around your identity, purpose, and impact.

[3]: How Much Does the MKS Life Plan Cost?

The MKS Master Key System Life Plan experience is an investment of time, effort, and resources, and is crafted to pay dividends throughout the rest of your life. The 2-day Life Plan is $6,000, and the 3-day Couples Life Plan is $9,000.

For those in full-time nonprofit we offer discounted pricing that reduces the cost of the 2-day Life Plan to $5,000, and the 3-day Couples Life Plan to $7,500.

The cost of our MKS Master Key System Life Plan Retreat offering for teams is set once we’ve customized the approach for your team. We are honored to come alongside you in your Life Plan journey; nothing matters more to us than guiding you to make your greatest impact in life.

[4]: How Do I Get Connected with a MKS Life Plan Guide?

We will connect you with one of our team of Guides who will speak with you by phone to learn more of your story and determine the best path forward. We continually engage with our Guides to ensure their work is of the highest quality.

We are deliberate in matching the right Guide with each client to create the greatest leverage of your time and investment into you MKS Master Key System Life Plan. Sometimes the Guide is in the same geographic area as you, but not always; fit is more important to us than location. We also offer opportunities on Zoom or over the phone.

Learn more about how the MKS Master Key System Life Plan can help you discover your life purpose and future success.

We love coming alongside people making their greatest contribution, and we’re excited to talk to you. Our calls are a lot like our work — curious and creative conversations to explore where you’re at and where you want to go. Based on the perspective we glean together, we’ll talk about what next steps might serve you best.
