Life’s Most Defining Question to Design Your Life and Shape Your Destiny: “Who Am I?”

[1]: “WHO I AM

[A]: You Are the Person Who Shapes Your Destiny Because You Have The Power Of “I-AM”

SPIRITUAL MAN: Your I AM-ness, your Consciousness, is the way in which you change your world as a spiritual man. Whatever you attach to I AM you become. As you affirm with feeling, I am illumined, inspired, loving, harmonious, peaceful, happy and strong, you will resurrect these qualities that lie dormant within you, and wonders will happen in your life.

When men and women help you in the realization of your dreams, they are playing their part and are messengers testifying to your beliefs and convictions. You wrote the play, and other men and women execute the parts conforming to your concept of yourself

In the Bible we read that Moses, standing before the burning bush, asked God His name, so he could tell the Israelites who sent him. God replied: ‘I AM THAT I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I AM has sent me to you.” God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.

This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.’” (Ex 3:14-15) God is pure Be-ing, the Great ‘I AM’—timeless, spaceless, ageless, and without face, form or figure.

This Be-ing, the metaphysical name of which is ‘I AM THAT I AM’, is forever becoming, entering into time and space as each and every living thing, taking shape and form in and as each and every thing. This Be-ing is what it becomes, hence, I AM THAT I AM.

The ancient Hebrews, for the most part, had a very tribal concept of God, one that is often quite unattractive, but at times we find in the Hebrew Bible something much more profound –and we have it here, namely, an understanding of the Divine as the Great I AM. ‘I AM THAT I AM.’

In Young’s Literal Translation of the Bible, which is generally closer to the Hebrew than most of the other well-known English versions of the Bible, the phrase ‘I AM THAT I AM’ is rendered ‘I AM THAT WHICH I AM’. The Great I AM—Life itself—becomes in and out of Itself the ‘I AM-ness’ (‘AM ness’) of all that it becomes.

In so doing, this Great I AM never exhausts Itself, for It is much, much more than that which It becomes. It is indeed all that It becomes, but that is not all that there is of It. In other words, this inexhaustible Be-ing is the very Be-ing-ness or livingness—self-livingness, in fact—of life itself. It is the very ground of all being—and all beings.

Affirmations for Health, Abundance “I AM” (21 days to a New You!)

The “I Am That I Am” person is you. In distinction from the natural man, the unrenewed man is found in (1 Corinthians 2:15);  You are the man in whom the Holy Spirit dwells and rules.

This divine indwelling insures mental illumination: “He that is spiritual discerneth (AVm) (or interpreteth) all things”; moral renewal: “a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17); “a new man” (Ephesians 4:24); spiritual enduement: “Ye shall receive power” (Acts 1:8).

[B]: You Are NOT the Person Who Shapes Your Destiny Because You Do Not Use The Power Of “I-AM”.   You Are the WORLDLY MAN.

I. THE CHARACTER OF A WORLDLY MAN.

1. He makes the pursuit of the world his chief business.

(1)  Sacrificing to it the duties of religion.

(2)  Pursuing it merely for his own gratification, and not for the glory of God.

2. He finds in this world his chief happiness.

3. He sets upon the world his chief affections.

II. EVERY SUCH MAN, CHRIST SAYS, IS A FOOL.

1. He gives up certainty for uncertainty. The world is most uncertain in its

(1)  attainment;

(2)  retainment.

2. He prefers his body to his soul. The body is the casket which encloses the precious immortal jewel — the soul which God has given us. Now, suppose any man, having an exceedingly precious jewel enclosed in a casket, bestowed all his care on the casket, watched over it day and night, regularly went to see that it was secure, but allowed the jewel to be a plaything to his children, would he not be a fool indeed?

3. He prefers time to eternity.

[C]: You Are What You Think About ALL Day Long

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “You are what you think all day long.” As a therapist, I’ve tried to teach clients that their thoughts profoundly impact their moods and shifting emotions, their behavioral choices, their self-confidence, the healthy risks that do or don’t get taken, and their feelings of self-worth and self-esteem in all arenas of life. We become what we think about… (Neville Goddard, James Allen)

Are You in control of what you think about? We believe we aren’t in control of what we think because our thoughts seem to fly in and out all day long. But you are in control of your thoughts, and you become what you think about. As you THINK, So Shall You BE! | Wayne Dyer | Top 10 Rules And that little kernel of truth is the secret power of the mind. It’s really not a secret after all. The power is available to every single person, including you. We Become What We Think About All Day Long | Dr. Wayne Dyer

You become what you think about. You can create the life you want, simply by thinking the right thoughts. In 1956, Earl Nightingale wrote “The Strangest Secret” in an attempt to teach people the power of the mind, the power of thought. He said, “you become what you think about all day long.” You become what you think about / Earl Nightingale

This worldwide phenomenon that has helped millions tap the power of the law that governs all our lives to create—intentionally and effortlessly—a joyful life. The Secret:

Fragments of a Great Secret have been found in the oral traditions, in literature, in religions, and philosophies throughout the centuries. For the first time, all the pieces of The Secret come together in an incredible revelation that will be life-transforming for all who experience it.

USF taught me how to use The Secret in every aspect of my life—money, health, relationships, happiness, and in every interaction I have in the world. I begin to understand the hidden, untapped power that’s within me, and this revelation brought joy to every aspect of my life.

The Secret contains wisdom from modern-day teachers—men and women who have used it to achieve health, wealth, and happiness. By applying the knowledge of The Secret, they bring to light compelling stories of eradicating disease, acquiring massive wealth, overcoming obstacles, and achieving what many would regard as impossible.

The Origin of the Famous Saying “Know Thyself”

Do You Know Thyself?

Before asking any questions of the Gods, the Oracle of Delphi would force travelers to investigate themselves. Because this, and nothing else, was considered the starting point for understanding the world. In Search Of History – Oracle at Delphi (History Channel Documentary)

Know thyself. These were the words inscribed almost as a warning in the pronaos of the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. It was Plato who actually transmitted this phrase via his dialogues. Indeed, he suggested the importance of looking inwards before making any decisions or taking any steps forward.

Many centuries have passed since then. However, people still find themselves pretty helpless when it comes to self-knowledge. In fact, our society continues to act without reflecting first, blames others for its failures, and continues to behave without integrity.

Know Thyself, a Message From the Gods

This message isn’t merely a simple piece of advice or recommendation. The words were written at the entrance to the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. However, they were meant to serve as an appeal or even a warning that went far beyond mere ethical or religious values. Pausanias, the famous traveler of the second century AD, stated in his work, Description of Greece, that the phrase on the temple was inscribed in gold.

“I warn you, whoever you are, Oh! You who want to probe the “Arcana of Nature”, that if you do not find “within yourself” that which you are looking for, you shall not find it outside either! If you ignore the excellences of your own house, how do you pretend to find other excellences? Within you is hidden the treasure of treasures! “Know Thyself” and you will know the Universe and the Gods.”

Before You Ask a Question, Know Thyself

The fact that the words “know thyself” were written at the entrance to the temple was no accident. Pliny said that it was impossible to cross the threshold without looking at these words inscribed in gold. Furthermore, he claimed they became imprinted on the mind. In fact, this was exactly what they were meant to do. They acted as a warning to people to reflect and be aware of the facts that:

    • He who wanted the Oracle of Delphi to speak to them should first delve into themselves.

    • No question makes sense if you don’t first answer the most important one: “Who are you?”

    • Only those who are wise enough to understand each other in-depth will know how to make use of what the Oracle reveals to them.

The Hard Task of Knowing Yourself

Most of us understand that there are few messages as important as the one inscribed on the pronaos of the temple of Apollo. In fact, know thyself is the kind of message that abounds in any self-help book, philosophy manual, or Instagram story. No doubt you’ve heard it at some point, and you probably try to carry it out in your daily life.

As André Gide said in Autumn Leaves (1950) “A caterpillar who seeks to know himself would never become a butterfly”. Therefore, it isn’t a question of searching for yourself but finding yourself every day, of having clear needs, dreams, and the potential to improve.

[1]: USF Introduced Me to “Who I Am”

The Bible is the sacred and inspired Scriptures of the Christian religion. It is a divine “book of life” rather than merely a history of people, and it bears “witness unto the word” of God (Acts 14:3).

Bible characters–The characters of the Bible represent ideas in one’s own mind. When this symbolism is understood one can follow the characters in their various movements and thus find the way to solve all one’s life’s problems.

Bible, place in Truth study–The Bible is a recital of what has taken place in the consciousness of man, of the results of his working, either intelligently with the law or unintelligently against it, in seeking his own salvation. It gives an explanation of spiritual law as applied to man and tells him how to find the kingdom of heaven within.

Bible, spiritual interpretation of the–A spiritual interpretation of the Bible demands that the meaning of every figure, type, parable, and symbol must be in harmony with the fundamental principles of Being.

[2]: USF Introduced Me to Applying the Power Of “I-AM” to Design My Life and Shape My Destiny!

This is simple, profound wisdom. It beautifully encapsulates lessons from the masters throughout the ages. An endless source of knowledge from philosophers, spiritual thinkers, poets, historians, scientists and leaders. This thought provoking book will inspire readers of all ages.

[A]: The Origin of the Spiritual I Am”

I am the LORD and there is no other. I form light and create darkness. I make weal and create woe. I, the LORD, do all these things.” (Isaiah 45) Then John tells us, “As He is, so are we in this world.”

Although man is taught the God who creates the weal and the woe is someone other than himself, scripture tells us that as God is, so are we!

The story of Jesus Christ, as well as all of the miracles recorded in the New Testament, are acted parables. In the Book of Luke we find Jesus, now twelve years of age, going up to Jerusalem for the Passover. When the feast ended, his parents – thinking Jesus was in the caravan – did not seek him out until the day was past.

After searching for him for three days, when they found him in the temple, his father said: “Son, how could you do this to us? Do you not realize we have been seeking you anxiously?”

And Jesus replied: “How is it that you sought me? Do you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?”

Here is Christ declaring God to be his father, while his parents, standing before him, do not understand. If you are seeking the cause of the phenomena of your life among your kinsfolk, your acquaintances, or teachers, you will never find it; for you are God’s temple, and the spirit of God dwells in you.

The cause of the phenomena of your life is not on the outside, but in your own wonderful human imagination. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? I tell you, the only place you will ever find him is within! The life of Jesus is a pattern which will unfold in you, an individual, when you discover yourself to be the cause of your life; for as He is, so are you in this world.

Our religious leaders teach Christ as someone on the outside who is different; who overcame, and is now living elsewhere; yet Christ in you is your hope of glory, for as He is, you are! Neville Goddard – I Am The Lord () Neville Goddard This Is My Name Forever I AM (with discussion)

[B]: The Lord’s Name is “I AM That I Am”

Let us discuss the name. If you find this name, or believe in it really, there is nothing impossible to you…if you really believe in it.

Moses said to God: “If I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me unto you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say?” The Lord said, “I AM who I AM.”

Sometimes it is translated “I AM what I AM” or “I AM that I AM”–-but any form of the verb “to be.” “I AM who I AM.” Then he said, “Say this to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.

The Lord God, the God of your father Abraham, and Isaac, and of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and by this I shall be known throughout all generations.’” No change in this name, my name forever.

This comes in the Book of Exodus the third chapter (verses 13-17). If you read the Book of Exodus you will find that this is sheer power completely unmodified by any justice, any love, no mercy, no pity, no peace, sheer power. The I AM GOD Exercise

So Moses stands in the presence of power; that’s the first revelation of God, and it’s I AM. May I tell you, when you believe it, that’s how you use it. Your first use of it is sheer power unmodified by any mercy in this world…just power. Neville Goddard This Is My Name Forever I AM ()

[C]: “I Am That I Am” is in Me

This title is “I Am in You.” First remember, we are dealing with a mystery. As Paul said to Timothy, “Great indeed, we confess, this great mystery…is our mystery” (1Tim. 3:16RSV). It is not secular history.

So today, we’ll try…it’s important that we get it. In the 14th chapter of the Book of John we read that Christ said to the disciples, “In that day”—well, that phrase “in that day” is an eschatological term meaning “at the end of the journey,” at the end of this age of Caesar.

So, “In that day you will know”…it will not be hearsay, you will have experienced it. Then he tells them what they will have experienced—that “I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.”

It is in us as persons that the nature of God is revealed. It is revealed in a series of supernatural experiences in the first-person, singular, present-tense experience. When it is experienced, all arguments are hushed.

There is no one to whom you can turn, no wise man to throw any light on it; it just simply has happened. So Paul said, “When it pleased God to reveal his Son in me…I conferred not with flesh and blood” (Gal. 1:16) and that, “My gospel I did not receive from a man, nor was I taught it; it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ” (verse 11). Neville Goddard I Am In You (with discussion)

[3]: USF TAUGHT ME ABOUT SPIRITUAL AND UNIVERSAL LAWS TO DESIGN MY LIFE AND SHAPE MY DESTINY

[A]: USF Taught Me Understanding and Living in Accordance with the Spiritual Laws would Help Me Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

The Twelve Spiritual Laws of the Universe each teach you something unique about well-being, happiness, and success. When you have a solid sense of these spiritual laws, you develop a clearer picture of your own place in the world.

When you don’t understand the connections between the spiritual laws, you naturally encounter obstacles. You may feel lost, frustrated, and confused about your purpose. It may even feel like virtually everything goes wrong for you, no matter how well you think you’ve planned.

In contrast, people who live their lives with an awareness of the interconnected laws typically report feeling more confident, productive, and reflective than ever before. While there is advanced personal work you can do with respect to each law, even starting out with this general grasp of the different laws may make a noticeable difference to the way you feel.

[B]: God’s Spiritual Laws Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

We’ll call it “God’s Law.” Paul said, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, so shall he also reap” (Gal. 6:7). Neville Goddard God’s Law

If this is a law and it endures forever, I can’t deny if this is God’s law that whatever is taking place now in my world, I brought it into being because I imagined it at some moment in time; a moment, if it is unpleasant, when I was ignorant of God’s law. Neville Goddard The Law )

[C]: 11 Forgotten Laws that Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

Change is vital to having a successful life because change is about keeping an open mind and realizing that the universe moves forward with each day and that we as human beings must follow suit. As we are connected to all energy, we need to understand the importance of moving forward in life.

Have you heard the term, “forward thinker”? A forward thinker is a person who is not limited by any boundaries and can think beyond constraints. This person looks towards a bright future and thinks of things that have not been thought of ever before.

In this message, you will be able to learn about the power of your mind, the eleven forgotten laws of the universe, and the way to use these revelations so that your life improves over 100 percent. Do not hesitate a second longer, start exploring yourself and the world you live in to reach your full potential and to starting living the life you have always desired.

In this collection of short lectures, Bob Proctor goes into remarkable depth on the “forgotten laws” that make up the Law of Attraction. It is an essential listen to all those who are delving into the practice. [D]: The 12 Spiritual Laws Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

These laws that govern the spiritual well-being of all in this Universe are believed to be in existence from the beginning of time. They are both intrinsic and unchangeable and were known to ancient cultures who lived by them. Neville Goddard Proof, The Law Works

The spiritual laws of the Universe apply not only to the physical entities but also to nonphysical ones. That is, in addition to including all living and non-living things in this universe in its ambit, the laws apply equally to intangible entities such as emotions, thoughts, and feelings. The 12 Universal Laws: The Law of Attraction is Just One

1. The Law of Divine Oneness:

The Law of Divine Oneness is the foundational law, according to which absolutely everything in our universe is interconnected. The Law of Divine Oneness

2. Law of Vibration

According to the Law of Vibration, every particle in the universe is in constant movement and constantly carries energy. The Law of Vibration Law of Vibration (Full Lesson) | Bob Proctor

3. Law of Correspondence

The Law of Correspondence is directly related to the foundational Law of Divine Oneness. The Law of Correspondence

4. Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction tells us that like attracts like. So, in order to have the things you desire in life, you have to work out how to vibrate on the same frequency as these things. US Andersen – On The Law Of Attraction

5. Law of Inspired Action

You also have to take inspired steps towards that thing that you want. The Law of Inspired Action

6. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy states that everything around us is in constant flux. You can’t see all of these changes because many of them exist at the cellular or atomic level, but they carry on regardless. The Law of Transmutation of Energy. The Law Of Gestation

7. The Law of Cause and Effect

One of the most straightforward laws of the universe, the Law of Cause and Effect tells us that all actions have a corresponding reaction. Your spiritual life can impact the world around you, causing positive or negative reactions. Similarly, your physical environment can impact your spirituality, whether for good or for ill. 8. The Law of Compensation

According to the Law of Compensation, you will receive what you put out. What is The Law Of Compensation? | Bob ProctorLaw of Compensation

9. Law of Relativity

The Law of Relativity is all about the neutrality of things when seen in isolation. No particular person, experience, emotion, or action is evaluated as good or bad until you look at it in comparison with something else. The Law of Relativity

10. Law of Polarity

When thinking about the Law of Polarity, remember is that absolutely everything has an opposite and that it’s the very existence of these opposites that allow us to understand our life. The Law of Polarity

11. Law of Rhythm

Sometimes called the Law of Perpetual Motion, the Law of Rhythm is (unsurprisingly) focused on movement. In particular, it refers to the fact that all things come in cycles. The Law of Rhythm

12. Law of Gender

Finally, the Law of Gender has very little to do with biological sex. Rather, it refers to the fact that there are two major types of energy. You can think of them as masculine and feminine, as yin and yang, or as anima and animus. The Law Of Gender

[E]: The 21 Universal Sub-Laws Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

The sub-laws are psychological features or human attributes. All of them relate to the behavior or mentality of human beings that sets them apart from the rest of the occupants of this Universe. While the 12 laws of the Universe describe the workings of this world, the sub-laws offer us a guide on how to utilize the laws to lead a better and fuller life that is beneficial for ourselves as well as the world around us.

Aspiration to A Higher Power, Charity, Compassion, Courage, Dedication, Faith, Forgiveness, Generosity, Grace, Honesty, Hope, Joy, Kindness, Leadership, Noninterference, Patience, Praise, Responsibility, Self-Love, Thankfulness and Unconditional Love

The spiritual laws of the Universe are not like the kind of laws that we are familiar with. While the laws framed by humans involve strict adherence and a penalty for defaulters, spiritual laws are guidelines for us to improve our lives. There is no notion of reward or punishment in the real sense. Nor are there any restrictions on how much we can embrace them.

Ignoring these laws results in an imbalance in our lives and the world around us. The Forgotten Laws The Universal Laws Full Audio book

Declaring that you are now it, don’t look away and forget the image reflected there, but persist in your assumption.

If you look into the mirror and, seeing yourself, you turn away and forget what manner of man you look like, you will continue to perpetuate your unlovely state. But if you look into the mirror of your mind and . . seeing what you desire to see, continue thinking from that state, you will see it reflect itself in your world. Then one day you will depart the world and return to the world from which you descended, for you are the Elohim, the God spoken of in the scriptures. The I AM Meditation

[A]: “Who I Am” in the Spiritual World?

Who am I? That is the eternal question. If I told you who you really are, you wouldn’t believe me; but I will tell you how you’ll know one day that you really are the Being that I am going to tell you that you are.

If I tell you now that you are the Lord Jesus Christ, you would not believe me, and you would think that I am blaspheming; and yet I am telling you the truth. There’s only one way you will ever know it, and there is only one way another will know it of you. Neville Goddard – Who Am I? J)

The Power of I-Am: The 2 Most Powerful Words!

AM is the name of God. I AM is known as the “Lost Word”. The word “I AM” has never really been lost. But the true meaning has been. The power that goes with understanding what I AM is and has been lost.

Your I AM-ness, your Consciousness, is the way in which you change your world. Whatever you attach to I AM you become. As you affirm with feeling, I am illumined, inspired, loving, harmonious, peaceful, happy and strong, you will resurrect these qualities that lie dormant within you, and wonders will happen in your life.

[1]: I Am Limitless

You are limitless, you are infinite, all things are possible for you. Much of what you experience is because of the limits you place upon yourself. Awaken to your true identity and power. You are limitless. How many excuses do you give for the things you do not have? You Are Limitless

[2]: I AM The Source

One of the most important things that you can learn is that you are the source of your prosperity. You are the source of your abundance. Believe you can have an abundance of money doing what you love to do. This episode will help you move from where you are to where you want to be. Now is the time to listen to your inner messages and discover that you are the source. You Are The Source

[3]: I AM The Power

You are the power. This power is changing you. This power is changing your reality. Look around you, you are at the center of a sacred circle of creation. You are now aware of the illusion of the world You feel more deeply now. You feel the suffering the world has caused. You realize that your actions are significant You create your reality. You are the power. You Are The Power

[4]: I AM Love

Your whole life has been crafted as an wonderful lesson of love. Every twinkling star in the sky comes from love. You are in love. You are always in love. You Are The Love

[5]: I AM God

It may sound shocking and perhaps you have been taught that God rests on a throne somewhere else in the universe, separate from you. But God is much closer that you think. He/she is you. The realization of this truth is so profound it will change you forever.

It is time for you to claim your birthright for who you really are and know that you are God. Meet and unite in the god presence. Ponder this amazing revelation, you are the creator, you created the universe. You are not a thing of time or circumstance You are god eternal Portions of this are taken from US Anderson’s three magic words which was also used in Kelly Howell universal mind meditation Guided Meditation YOU ARE GOD

[6]: I AM Imagination

This platform is concerned only with Imagination. We believe the Supreme Power that created the universe is all Imagination. We believe that man is all Imagination, and this Supreme Power we call God exists in us and we in it, that our eternal body is Imagination . . that is, God himself.

And I mean that literally. So we will turn now to the greatest book in the world, the Bible . . which is addressed to the real man, who is all Imagination, not to the “natural” man or the one you see daily reflected in the mirror.

For, like my Father, I AM spirit, and I, the spiritual man, have neither face, form, nor figure. I must come to understand my own invisibility, for when I fully understand that, I am awake. But I will express myself in form forever and forever. This universe, vast as it seems, is only a part, for there are worlds within worlds.

This platform is to encourage you to test it and create reality. You can create the conditions of your own world. You must realize that if one is a teacher the responsibility on his shoulders is great, for if I am a teacher my purpose is to make you see as I see, and to the degree that I can get you to see as I see I have succeeded in getting my thought across, but if my thought is false I mislead you, the responsibility is mine. Neville Goddard – Fawcett’s Letter

US Andersen gives the 30 day Mental Diet and discusses its transformational power. For thirty days, one month, you are not to accept a single negative thought nor dwell on a single negative premise. This does not mean that such thoughts or ideas will not occur to you. They most certainly will occur, as frequently or even more so than they have all your life.

This simply means that you will refuse to accept any of them, discarding them immediately they occur, as fictional ideas, without basis in truth, delusions that are without foundation for they have no roots in your mind.

Eventually, you will no longer have to struggle with positive and negative, good and evil, truth and illusion. You will ally yourself with the forces for good in the universe and achieve an attunement and an effortlessness in life that once seemed impossible of imagining. US Andersen.. [2]: The World Teaches the “Who Am I” in the World

    • How many times have you asked yourself this question?

    • How many times have you questioned why you’re supposed to be on this earth?

    • How many times have you questioned your very existence?

For me, the answer is countless times.

    • And the question itself makes me ask more questions: can I ever know who I am? Why do I need to know who I am? Will any answer ever satisfy me?

“The question, ‘Who Am I?’ is not meant to get an answer, the question ‘who am I?’ is meant to dissolve the questioner.”

Let’s try and find out.

Who am I? A philosophical inquiryWho are you?Who Am I? | The Philosophy of Alan WattsWho Am I? – A Thought Experiment That Changes How You Think About Yourself

[1]: My Identity Impacts My “Who Am I”

In the world’s perspective the “answer” to “Who Am I” is our identity. Our identity is our all-encompassing system of memories, experiences, feelings, thoughts, relationships, and values that define who each of us is. It’s the stuff that makes up a “self.”

Identity is a critical component of understanding who we are. Why? Because we can break up identity into components (values, experiences, relationships). These components we can identify and understand. Then, once we have understood the components of our identity, we can get a big-picture look at who we are.

In a nutshell: we’re a lot more than one thing. We’re a whole system of ideas and experiences.

[2]: The Need for My “I AM” Identity

“Who am I?” gets at the heart of one of our most basic needs: our need for identity.  We, as living beings, search for and find comfort in a solid sense of identity. It grounds us. It gives us confidence. And our sense of identity affects every single thing in our lives – from the choices we make to the values we live by.

According to Shahram Heshmat Ph.D., author of Science of Choice: “Identity relates to our basic values that dictate the choices we make (e.g., relationships, career). These choices reflect who we are and what we value.”

Our identity is a reflection of what we believe, what we do, and what we value. Yet, our sense of identity can be compromised by outside factors. How is that possible? Well, Dr. Heshmat explains: “Few people choose their identities. Instead, they simply internalize the values of their parents or the dominant cultures (e.g., pursuit of materialism, power, and appearance). Sadly, these values may not be aligned with one’s authentic self and create unfulfilling life.”

This is what can cause problems. Here’s the painful truth: much of our identity was forced upon us. This inorganic identity causes us to experience a tremendous amount of stress.

Why? Because we know that “that identity” is false. It’s something demanded of us. The problem is, we don’t know what our “organic” identity is.

[3]: Because My “Identity” Maybe False I must always ask, “Who Am I?”

One of the biggest things holding us back from finding out who we are is that so many of us have no real personal power. It can leave us feeling frustrated, disconnected, and unfulfilled.  So what can you do to find out who you are and what you’re doing here?

Begin with yourself. Stop searching for people to tell you how to think or what you should do. The more you look for external fixes to sort out your life, the further you be venture from learning how to live your life aligned with a deeper sense of inner purpose.

[4]: The Roles I Play in the World” My Design and Shapes My Destiny

To make things harder on ourselves, we each have multiple identities – sons, daughters, parents, friends. We split and compartmentalize our identities into “roles.” And we perform these “roles” in different circumstances.

Each role has “its meanings and expectations that are internalized as identity.” When we perform these roles, we internalize them as if they were our real identities. We’re all actors, taking on a dozen roles. Except the problem is, we’ve tricked ourselves into believing these roles are real.

This conflict, coupled with the need to find our authentic self, is the cause of much of our unhappiness. This conflict is called “identity struggle. ”Often, in the face of identity struggle, many end up adopting darker identities, such as drug abuse, compulsive shopper, or gambling, as a compensatory method of experiencing aliveness or staving off depression and meaninglessness.”

Struggling to figure out who we are can have grave side effects. That’s why it is important to discover the answer to the question “Who Am I?” Because the alternative is “depression and meaninglessness.”

On the upside, people who have successfully found their authentic selves are shown to be far happier and more content. This is because they are “able to live a life true to their values and pursue meaningful goals.”

How can you figure out who you are?

[1]: My “Who Am I” Destiny Begins with a Dream, Vision or Purpose

Destiny begins with a dream, vision or purpose. You are created in the image of God, and because God gives dreams you can develop dreams. Whether you call dream for your life “vision, goal or purpose”, it does not really matter. You start laying hold of your destiny by dreaming.

There are different kinds of dreams. There are dreams that you have to develop yourself. Your dreams will determine your future and your ultimate destiny. There are dreams given sovereignly by God, such as the one Joseph had.

Dreams are the seeds of your future. Where you are today is the result of the dreams you had in the past and where you will be tomorrow is determined by your dream today.

“Delight thyself in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Psalm 37:4

When the Lord is your delight, He will give you the dreams of your heart. A dream is a divine revelation of the plan and purpose of God for your Life. When you commit your dreams unto God. He will bring it to pass.

What dream do you have? Is it a dream of helping people? What about a dream of becoming a missionary in other countries of the world. What about a dream of having a prosperous business that you can travel around and sharing the gospel with people.

God wants to give you the desire of your heart, but you have to develop those desires. A desire of the heart is real and life changing. It will influence and help other people. You need to have a dream in order to succeed in life. Without dream you are bound for failure.

[2]: 5 Steps to Discover “Who I Am?”

It’s critical to discover who you are. When you are firm in your identity, your life is more meaningful, joyful, and purposeful. There are 5 key steps you can take to help answer the question “who am I?” These steps are backed by experts and will help you firm up your identity so that you can live a life full of purpose.

1) Reflect

To quote the King of Pop, “I’m starting with the man in the mirror.” You need to reflect upon yourself whenever you are engaging in self-discovery. This means that you have to examine yourself — for all your strengths, flaws, impressions you give others, the whole lot.

You have to critically engage with the reflection you present. You have to be your inspector. You have to look at your whole self as the house, and get down deep to that foundation.

Ask yourself, who are you right now? What are your strengths? Your flaws?

    • Do you like who you see in the mirror?

    • Do you think that “who you are” doesn’t match “who you see?”

    • How does that make you feel?

Identify which areas of your life you are unhappy about. Look at what you think could be better – mentally, emotionally, and physically. Don’t go rush and slap band-aids all over the issues. This step isn’t about quick fixes. It’s not even about changing anything. Instead, it’s about sitting with yourself — ups and downs — and understanding where you are. Once you have a good grasp on yourself, then you can move on to step two.

2) Decide who you want to be

You can never be a perfect person. There’s no such thing as a perfect person. You have to embrace the fact that you will never be perfect. On the path to self-discovery, you should embrace that there are things you want to improve. And improvement is possible!

So, for step two, what you need to do is identify who you want to become. Be honest with yourself about what’s possible. Being Superman isn’t what we’re after. “Start with yourself. Take care of yourself. Refine your personality. Choose your destination and articulate your Being.”

Who is your ideal person? Is it someone kind, strong, intelligent, brave? Is it a person who isn’t afraid of a challenge? Is it a person who can open herself up to love? Whoever this dream person is, define them. Define who you want to become. That’s step two.

3) Make better choices

Make better choices… for yourself. The truth is, most of us are programmed to make choices out of fear. We instinctively make an easy choice based on anxiety, desire to please, or because we don’t want to put in the effort. These choices only do one thing: continue the status quo.

If you’re not happy with who you are, with your current status quo, then these choices do nothing to help you. Those choices, then, are the bad choices.  But you can choose better for yourself. You can make “active decisions.”

Once you know what you want, and once you know who you want to be; you can take the time to make active, conscious choices that help you be better.

4) Explore your passions

One of the best parts about discovering the answer to “Who Am I,” is figuring out parts of yourself you never knew about. One of the best ways to help discover yourself is to explore your passions. When you engage in things you are passionate about, you stimulate creative energies. If you’re passionate about teaching, go out and teach! The more that you teach, you’ll begin to see yourself as a “teacher,” even perhaps a master of your craft. This exploration will give you confidence and expertise, which helps positively ground your sense of identity.

But what if I don’t know what I’m passionate about

When your identity has been built by society’s expectations, it’s natural that you might not know what you’re passionate about. That’s ok! But if you haven’t, don’t go looking for it. Instead, develop it.

“What? How am I supposed to develop something if I don’t even have it?”

Hear me out: take a listen to Terri Trespicio’s 2015 TED Talk, Stop Searching For Your Passion. “Passion is not a job, a sport or a hobby. It is the full force of your attention and energy that you give to whatever is right in front of you. And if you’re so busy looking for this passion, you could miss opportunities that change your life.”

If you don’t know what your passion is, don’t freak out. Developing a growth mindset is a key component of exploring your passions. Along the way, you’ll figure out who you are. If you’re looking for some inspiration in developing a growth mindset, check out these inspirational quotes.

5) Develop your social circle

Humans are social beings by nature. So much of our identity is shaped by our friends and family. When you work to figure out “who you are,” you have to actively create your social circle. This means choosing who you want to hang out with. It means choosing who to let in, and who to cut loose.

You must find people who are aligned with your values and identity. “When you understand what’s most important to you in life – your life values – you can clarify who you are by choosing your social circles based on compatible values. You can have great clarity in your relationships, too, as you see yourself reflected in the people around you.”

[3]: Building My “Who Am I” Identity is an Ongoing Process

The task of finding out who you are isn’t an easy one. It’s probably one of the hardest things you’ll ever take on. One of the worst things you can do (during this process) is to put pressure on yourself to figure it out right away. Discovering your identity is a journey, not an ending.

We should look at our identities as an evolution of ourselves. “Our identity should be seen as an ongoing process. Rather than a static snapshot, we should embrace a flowing sense of self, whereby we are perpetually re-framing, re-organizing, re-thinking and re-considering ourselves. “How different would life be if rather than asking who am I, we contemplated how we’d like to engage life?”

When you embrace that your identity is dynamic, you take a lot of pressure off of yourself to pin down exactly who you are. Relax! You’re you. You know what you value, what you like, and what you want to be. You got the basics down! If those change, that’s ok. Start back over from step one. Don’t be afraid of growth.

[4]: Discovering “Who I Amis a Never-Ending Journey

This much is clear: discovering who you are is a never-ending journey. Like the universe, you are never in the same state. You will always change, evolve, grow.

Why do we get so caught up with our definition of identity? Because we all crave the same things: happiness, peace, and success. Without finding out who we are, we feel like we’ll never come close to any of it. So in our journey of self-discovery, remember to take a step back and reflect on yourself:

“Am I making decisions based on my values? Am I who I want to be?”

Once you have reflected upon yourself and discovered who you want to be, you can engage in the process of pushing yourself forward through active choosing, exploration, and positive disintegration to finally make yourself the person you always hoped you’d become.

So you have two ways to approach this investigation.

In one method, you listen to the advice and counsel of others who convince you that they’ve gone through this experience and know secrets and tips to guide you through the same. process.

The other way is that you find tools and inspiration for how you can question your own life and find the answers for yourself. If you leave your life to someone else, how can you possibly learn more deeply about yourself? One puts the power of your life in the hands of someone else, the other method approach helps you to take the reins of your own life. And in the process, you’ll discover the answer to the question “Who Am I?” “I am me.”

[1]: USF Taught Me My Core Values Shape My “Who Am I”

Core values are personal ethics or ideals that guide you when making decisions, building relationships and solving problems. Identifying the values that are meaningful to you can help you develop and achieve personal and professional goals. It can also help you find jobs and companies that align with your ideals.

They are the core elements of how people approach their work. Core values drive behavior and form beliefs. Examples of core values include reliability, dependability, loyalty, honesty, commitment, consistency, and efficiency. People in satisfying relationships will often say their partner shares their values.

Core values are a set of fundamental beliefs, ideals or practices that inform how you conduct your life, both personally and professionally. Businesses can also have and maintain core values. These can help an organization determine how to allocate resources, make important decisions and grow.

Identifying core values for yourself or within a company can provide structure and guidance, especially when dealing with a challenging decision or dispute. If one of your core values is honesty, for example, you would refer back to it when deciding whether or not a certain piece of information should be kept secret.

[3]: I Live By These 31 Core Values to Design My Life and Shape My Destiny

1. Acceptance

The ability to accept what you can control and what you can’t control. I came to understand that on some days, I am the hammer, and on other days I am the nail. With acceptance as a core value, I can build either way and be happy. Moreover, acceptance can help me love all parts of myself – flaws and all. Practicing acceptance also helps me become more compassionate towards myself.

This healthy state of mind may be hard to practice at first, but it just needs practice. The key is to remember my inner child. When I keep my most vulnerable self in mind, I can be more understanding and gentle, especially if I face something difficult.

2. Adaptability

Life is going to throw you curve ball after curve ball, and if you aren’t ready for them, you are going to strike out. My life and the life of those I surround myself with are far too complex to confine myself to one mold.

I learned at USF to be adaptable, ready, and willing to change when I need to. I learned not be afraid to change depending on the situation life throws at me. When I adapt, I become ready to take on any challenges.

3. Awareness

Awareness is one of the best core values a person can adopt. Period. I learned at USF that awareness was the foundation of a strong character. It helped me understand who I am and what you can offer others. USF taught me awareness means paying attention to myself, to others, to the world around me, to emotions, and to situations. It means seeing everyone and everything clearly – most importantly myself.

USF presented the question: how can I cultivate awareness? USF taught me the ultimate way I can do this is with meditation. It didn’t have to be formal. I could start focusing on simple things like my breath and then move on to how tense my body is.

4. Balance

There are going to be times when you need to sprint in life, and other times when you are going to need to slow down. The yin and the yang. USF taught me that balance is one of the most important core values because it reflects nature for what it truly is: perfectly balanced and able to bend, rather than break.

USF taught me applying balance in my life was easier than I thought. For example, I could start actualizing this tip in my personal and professional life by making sure that I make time for your hobbies and take time to recharge after a long day at USF or work.

5. Calmness

As well as being a sublime state of mind, many people forget that calm is a simple decision to make. USF taught me I can be calm in any situation should I allow myself to be. No amount of angry drivers or frustrating technology can penetrate me when I adopt calmness as a core value.

Being calm takes practice. USF taught me I can’t simply become a master at being calm when I decide to make it my core value. The secret to being calm is to make a conscious decision to avoid lashing out when things don’t go my way.

6. Community

USF taught me every one of us is a social creature, whether we believe it or not, and community has been a key core value for us as a species for thousands of years. We are hard-wired to socialize; to eat, drink, gossip, laugh, tell stories, share ideas, give and receive amongst ourselves. Community also enhances the effect of other core values on this list, such as creativity.

No matter how much of an introvert I am, I must make time to form genuine connections with other people. USF taught me this would give me an opportunity to grow as a person and experience new things. Forging friendships would also enable me to have someone to lean on when times get rough. Most importantly, being part of a community would help me become more empathetic to other people.

7. Compassion

Compassion is taking the time to understand the suffering of others and, hopefully, being able to do something about it. There is a lot of struggle and suffering that can be alleviated in the world. USF taught me with a core value like compassion, I might be able to help my fellow humans in some meaningful way.

USF taught me being compassionate is more than just listening to others. It’s about putting aside my judgment and trying my best to put myself in the shoes of other people who need help. Humans are meant to be social creatures. When I have compassion, I am able to create stronger connections.

8. Creativity

USF taught me with technology taking most of the administrative jobs, creative people will be leading us into the future. It taught me that someone who cherishes creativity can think up new and big ideas, see things that other people can’t, and see the world around them through their own lens, not somebody else’s.

I learned that creativity helps to lessen depressive symptoms, decrease anxiety, improve immune function, and increase positive emotions. One of the common mistakes of people is thinking of creativity only in terms of art. USF taught me this shouldn’t be the case. Creativity will allow me to look at problems in a different light and solve them through innovation.

9. Discipline

USF taught me “Discipline Equals Freedom”. What it means is that if you can be disciplined in the right things, you will be free in the right things, too.

Discipline to work out means more freedom in your body as you age. Discipline to save means more freedom with your time and money in the long term.

USF taught me the ultimate purpose of discipline is my acknowledgment that I need to make small and large sacrifices to get what you want. By having this perspective instead of only chasing immediate gratification, I would inspire bigger wins in your life.

10. Empathy

USF Taught me practicing empathy requires the understanding that other people have a nagging voice in their heads, just like you do. That they have a worldview different from yours based on their experiences. And that’s ok. It’s not easy to adopt empathy as a core value, but it is certainly worth it. If I am empathetic towards others, I must be willing to put myself in their shoes. This way, I can see the motivations behind their actions.

11. Freedom

USF Taught me freedom comes in many forms, and that is why it is one of the ultimate core values to have. This includes the freedom to choose, freedom to speak, freedom to live on your terms, and freedom to love and be loved.

If freedom becomes a core value of yours, watch how your life changes for the better. Freedom is not just about doing whatever you want. After all, every person’s meaning of freedom is different. At the end of the day, it just means following what you want.

12. Gratitude

USF taught me gratitude provides a powerful perspective shift whenever you feel yourself getting into a rut. It taught me to become grateful for the big things like having shelter, food, and great people in your life. It also taught me to become grateful for the small things like the cup of coffee I just drank or the soft sheets on my bed. Having gratitude would ensure I wouldn’t take anything for granted.

When you forget this core value, you will only see the negative things in life, and you’ll be stuck with a negative mindset that will stop you from reaching your full potential. Gratitude is also extremely important because it helps you relish experiences, improve your health, deal with challenges, build relationships, and feel positive emotions. When you are grateful, it also guides your decision-making and helps you realize how unimportant superficial things like money and status are.

13. Happiness

USF taught me happiness is a powerful core value and is not just restricted to your own happiness but also to your friends and family. When happiness guides my decision-making rather than superficial things like money and status, I will find myself in a much more satisfying position than if I chase other people’s ideas of happiness.

Happiness starts from within. Whatever problems and challenges you face today, you will feel better if you adopt happiness as your core value because it will shift your mindset.

14. Health

They say that a healthy man has a lot of dreams and wishes, whereas a sick man only has one. USF taught me health is the precursor to every other core value on this list; if you don’t have your health, you can’t do much else until you do. Because of this, health has to be a core value in your life.

So how can you do this? First, realize the importance of eating healthy. Explore new ways to cook vegetables and enjoy fruits as a sugar substitute. Fill your fridge with healthy snacks. More than that, try your best to stay active and keep your body moving. Walk to work, try Taekwondo martial arts, yoga, or stretch every morning.

15. Humility

USF taught me humility is the antidote to arrogance and selfishness and is a value to adopt if you want to keep your feet firmly on the ground. It is said that you are never as good or as bad as people say you are. Humility recognizes this and keeps you moving towards your goal, no matter what anyone else says.

When you practice humility, you are acknowledging that you are not perfect, and you will never achieve perfection – there is nothing wrong with that. Even if you achieve something people praise you for, humility means understanding that if not for the help of other people, you would not be where you are standing today.

16. Innovation

USF taught me the act of innovation involves taking one existing thing and making it better. Although images of whacky car designs and complicated technology can spring to mind when thinking about innovation, it doesn’t have to be that grandiose.

Simply seeing something small and making it better in your own life is enough to make a difference. Use this core value to look at things from a new perspective. For example, if you have a ton of discarded papers at home, you can use them to make paper mache vases that you can give to friends and family.

17. Knowledge

USF taught me knowledge is power. Not power in the 14th-century medieval banker-sense but in the power to change your life. Knowledge about yourself, others, and the world allow you to understand everything that you see a bit better. When you see things for what they are, you can act accordingly and get to where you want to be.

When you adopt knowledge as a core value, it means you are acknowledging that it’s not impossible for you to learn everything. Each day will serve as a lesson for you to build your knowledge and become a better person.

18. Leadership

It takes guts, determination, confidence, and humility to lead. All of these qualities are both rare and admirable and are the reasons why leadership is such an excellent core value.

USF taught me when you become a leader, you can not only help yourself excel but other people as well. I will serve as their guide, especially if they need help directing their efforts, resources, and focus into something with more potential. By giving myself and others purpose, direction, and clarity, I can serve as an inspiration.

19. Love

It can be argued that all of the core values on this list can be tied together by the one, all-encompassing value of love.

USF taught me when I value love deeply and try to show it in everything I do, I make my world and the world of others a much better place. By actualizing this core value in your everyday life, you can support the people you love in the best way possible through thick and thin. Love can also do wonders for your personal experiences since it drives you to become more dedicated to the things you deem important. This could be your career, hobbies, kids, and many more.

20. Moderation

USF taught me whether its dieting, overworking, or even eating your favorite foods, keep in mind that moderation is key. Not acting in moderation can also have damaging consequences, especially for my health. As much as eating omega-3 foods are good for the body like fish oil and flax seeds, there are side effects that come with overconsumption including high blood sugar and nausea. What works well for all people is everything in moderation.

21. Peace

USF taught me peace is another core value that takes years of practice to perfect. However, its rewards are boundless, with both the journey and destination full of rewards. Many people think of peace as a situation where there is no conflict of any kind. However, that’s not what peace is all about. Peace is all about having tranquil peace of mind. It’s about staying calm and grounded even if you face adversities. Peace enables clear decision-making, and freedom in thoughts and actions, as well as providing a deep understanding of the special life that you live.

22. Purpose

USF taught me purpose can be doubled up with ‘meaning’ as these are two values that provide the drive in any endeavor that I might pursue. Purpose gets you out of bed every morning, it is why I sacrifice what I sacrifice and often entails something bigger than myself. If I don’t have a purpose, it is unlikely that I will find much meaning in my life.

If you don’t have a clear purpose, it’s like driving at night without your headlights on. So what’s your purpose? Think hard about it. It could be your family, your partner, or to make a difference in this world. It is also important to acknowledge that your purpose can change over time. After all, your priorities and view of the world aren’t constant. If you experience this, don’t beat yourself up.

23. Responsibility

USF taught me nobody likes having to take the dog on a walk, having to clean the dishes, or do things that they are reluctantly responsible for. However, responsibility can be an awesome way to add meaning and value to your life.

When other people depend on me and I fulfill my role as provider, not only are they better off, but I get the satisfaction that comes along with it too.

When I meet someone responsible, I don’t just admire them for their accomplishments, I admire them for carving out a purpose for them self and sticking to it, regardless of what others might think or say.

Being responsible means holding yourself accountable for something that impacts the people you love or care about. It also means that you are responsible for your own happiness and fulfillment.

24. Service

USF taught me similar to the responsibility point above, when I adopt service as a core value, I will have very little time to wallow in any self-pity, anxiety, or existential angst because I will be busy making the world a better place.

By serving others, many people find that they are internally served with feelings of satisfaction and contentment. This could mean volunteering in underprivileged communities or simply helping a friend out. When you have this core value, remember to use it in coordination with other items in this list, especially love. This will make your service more worthwhile.

25. Spirituality

USF taught me there is the importance of physical health, mental health, and emotional health, but spiritual health is also of value. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion, it simply means taking the time to listen to God, your body, to watch your thoughts, to connect with and appreciate the world and the universe that you find yourself in.

When I prioritize spirituality, I will constantly be in search of deeper meaning. This will ensure that all my experiences and connections will never be superficial. It will all have a purpose. One great way to practice spirituality in your life is through meditation.

26. Trust

USF taught me trust is a core value on this list because it requires many other difficult skills that help develop me as a person.

To be able to trust and be trusted, I need strong relationships, an ounce of risk, a healthy dose of vulnerability, and humility. All of this creates a recipe for a very positive life with trust at the center. When I have trust as a core value, I will enjoy a sense of safety that I can rely on others and myself to do the right thing.

27. Understanding

USF taught me understanding comes from a place of acceptance of what is, not what should be or could be. It is the ability to recognize someone else’s viewpoint without trying to change it. It is learning that it is useless to fight against the way the world and other people, and instead learn to dance with them.

Understanding can help me respond better to any situation. This will enable me to look at problems with a perspective to help instead of judge. However, it’s worth noting that understanding is not the same as empathy. The former means aligning yourself with a set of knowledge, while the latter means aligning yourself with other people’s feelings.

28. Wealth

USF taught me about wealth not in the monetary sense but in the “having everything that you need sense.” Someone who is truly wealthy possesses great relationships, plenty of freedom, a life filled with joy, as well as many of the other values on this list. Adopting wealth as a core value will act as a magnet to other incredible things.

Let go of the mindset that wealth is all about money and material things. Instead, take it as a lesson in how to make happiness and abundance a way of life. Learn to see wealth as a way of expression and a method of sharing gifts with the world.

29. Patience

USF taught me lost in the chaos and shuffle of our go-go-go, our hyper-achievement-focused society is the value of patience. We want it all, and we want it now. life doesn’t always work that way. While you’ll certainly have some quick wins and successes if you stick with it, that’s not the norm. Patience doesn’t mean just sitting around and waiting for success and happiness to find you. High achievers take massive amounts of action to achieve the successes they desire.

The joy is in the journey, and patience is a necessary part of crafting a life you love. When you mix patience with calculated action, you set yourself up for great amounts of happiness and success.

30. Integrity

USF taught me integrity is when you do the right thing, even when you’re not being watched. It’s being consistent and honest in your beliefs and decision-making. Having a strong level of integrity means you have a sense of character, trustworthiness, and honesty. These will build your reputation as a dependable person.

When you are an upstanding person who has strong integrity, you become the type of person people want to associate with. Being able to build these stronger relationships opens you up to finding greater levels of success and happiness in your life.

31. Curiosity

USF taught me the value of curiosity is very important to creating a life of happiness and success. Curiosity sparks creativity and innovation. It also allows us to discover things about ourselves and life that we otherwise wouldn’t know.

[4]: Why Discovering “Who I Am” is Important to Designing My life and Shaping My Destiny

Core values are important because they act like a compass to help you lead the amazing life that you want, no matter where you find yourself in this world. Not only that, having the right core values can improve your decision-making, your productivity, your achievements and perhaps most importantly, your ability to love and be loved. They’re kind of a big deal. And it isn’t just us saying this, studies have shown core values to have a whole host of other benefits.

Moreover, your values in life impact the decisions you make every day. When you can identify your values and make choices that align with them, life suddenly becomes a little easier. But when you’re running on autopilot and not allowing your values to coincide with your choices, you can find yourself becoming incredibly unhappy, and maybe you don’t know why.

Discovering your core values don’t help with huge aspects alone; they impact seemingly small things, too. Think back to that new phone you bought that you didn’t need. You decided that spending money wisely was not as valuable to you during that moment.

And if simply sitting alone for a few minutes could impact the rest of your life positively, wouldn’t it be worth it? After all, knowing your values helps you make important decisions, like accepting a job, starting a business, or making a big change.

[5]: How My Beliefs and Core Values Design My Life and Shape My Identity

Our beliefs about the world and our actual experiences shape our values, which in turn form our identity. What we believe is what we experience, which is why our beliefs and values have a discernible impact on our relationships and our work. Many people like to think that their beliefs are grounded in reality, but this isn’t always true.

[A]: Who Defines Your Identity?

Identity through roles. In our day-to-day lives we may define ourselves through the roles that we play. These roles may include being a mother or father, husband or wife, brother or sister, son or daughter, colleague, friend or even enemy! Again some of these roles may be in tension – consider a priest or doctor serving in the front line

[B]: What Defines Your Identity?

Your identity is not merely one thing, but a web of self-described traits, features, actions, and thoughts that you stand on top of. This raises the question of the extent that identity pertains to one’s actions, rather than how one refers to oneself. Is your identity given or created?

Values are said to be the dominating forces in life and identities represent who we are and to whom we belong. Both shape the political landscape in democracies and have gained in importance in recent decades.

[C]: The Elements of Your Identity Include

    • Occupations – Social relationships – Familial relationships – Quasi-occupations Avocations – Affiliations

[D]: How Values Shape Your “Who Am I” Identity

We live in times of an increasing rich-poor gap, short-sighted policymaking, environmental problems and concerns, and reactions of various effectiveness to a global pandemic.

Our beliefs about the world and our actual experiences shape our values, which in turn form our identity. What we believe is what we experience, which is why our beliefs and values have a discernible impact on our relationships and our work.

Many people like to think that their beliefs are grounded in reality, but this isn’t always true. At any rate, values are a critical component of our identity. They can be moral, cultural, or religious. They reflect our essence and our way of life. The Secret to Building A Unique Identity | Tom Bilyeu AMA

[E]: Where Core Values Shape Your “Who Am I” Identity

Everyone has an image of themselves; a belief or idea about who they are as a person. It’s definitely desirable to have a strong sense of identity because it gives security and brings us comfort. Many of us spend a lot of time trying to understand what we believe, what we want, and who we are, especially when we are younger.

To complicate matters further, it suddenly dawns on us we were not who we thought we were over the past ten, 20, even 30 years; the proverbial midlife crisis. This usually happens when we achieve a major goal only to find out it hasn’t made us as happy or as satisfied as we believed it would.

For example, you place great value on material belongings, but buying your first property hasn’t left you feeling quite like you hoped. Or ambition is very important to you, yet you discover being appointed general manager isn’t like you thought it would be.

There are definitely major advantages of having a strong identity. It is infinitely easier to connect with like-minded people when you have a clear sense of it. A strong identity tends to be a feature highly successful people share. It helps us tailor our behavior according to the situation and make the best decisions in complicated circumstances. It would be impossible to make any decision, even the most trivial, without any prior beliefs about how to act.

Knowing who you are makes being confident in your decisions and choices that much easier. It can make the difference between an effortless and an agonizing decision. Creating Your Identity Through the Method Acting Approach | Greg Bryk | TEDxQueensU

[G]: The Risks of a Strong “Who Am I” Identity

Having a strong identity can be risky because such people are willing to go to excessive lengths to protect it. That’s only natural – after all, it is who they are. It is the core and the essence of their being. The problem is that they might do this at the expense of other things – being kind, being honest, or being open-minded. Being unable to think clearly about things we strongly identify with gives rise to not insignificant conflict, including on a group level. It might even seem best to limit the number of things entering one’s identity as much as possible given how difficult it is to think clearly about them.

Values are beliefs about what is important to us. Returning to the example of ambition: If you believe you are ambitious, you will act accordingly. You will be driven to go above and beyond in your professional interactions and tasks. If benevolence is one of your core values, you will always strive to be friendly and helpful. You will take every opportunity to help people, sometimes at the expense of your own welfare.

USF Teaches a System to RECREATE Your “WHO AM I”

PHASE 1: CREATE A BLUEPRINT FOR YOUR “WHO AM I”

Objective: To establish an original vision that stands the test of time and doubts, then determine the changes you need to make this vision a reality. How to Recreate Your Identity

Most people just browse through a fashion magazine, pick out a trendy coat, put in an order, and call it good. Other people try to establish a theme in their closet best matching their social environments. However, despite looking good in pictures, it all seems random, boring and predictable at the end of the day.

What you need is something far more encompassing than that. You need a blueprint for what you do and how you will project that onto the world.

That doesn’t need to be something spectacular or extremely unique. It can be anything you love doing, but what you must have is a purpose and intent behind it.

Think of it as a leveling mechanism that keeps you grounded. As famous ski-racer Jon Olsson stated while describing his love for skiing:

“It’s like the thing that keeps the craziness of life from running away with it.”

Now, I want you to think of a few things that you are already good at or you envision yourself doing. Be it a hobby or something that you want to get paid for doing. Look for a theme that these things are telling you. Are you meant to be an artist? Do you have a penchant for risk-taking adventures? Are you a traveler? Are you an entrepreneur?

You’ll start noticing themes that you can establish around these ideas:

    • Who you are – an identity worth finding out.

    • What you do very well – a deep and unique competency.

    • How you look doing it – personal style and quirks.

The blueprint is the plot of the story you want to tell the world about yourself. The stronger and more coherent the plot, the bigger the audience’s suspension of disbelief. Elements of this blueprint should include the following:

    • The setup – where you came from and how your life experiences have shaped who you are.

    • The characters – social groups and interests that you love participating in.

    • The climax – you must seem to be pushing yourself toward an awesome moment or state in life.

Don’t confuse the blueprint with your sense of purpose. They may be separate things. Your purpose may be deeply connected to writing. However, your passion may be to travel while writing.

Your lifestyle and your purpose can vary incredibly, but they can also mingle together in many different ways.

My purpose is to become a great writer and philosopher. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I live isolated or hang out only in libraries and universities.

I love to travel, go out, and have an intense social life. Writing and philosophy help me stay grounded and allow me to develop skills that enhance my lifestyle.

PHASE 2: DEEPLY IMMERSE YOURSELF IN YOUR “WHO AM I” DESTINY

Objective: Become a skilled leader in your niche field. This phase is easier than it sounds. Before you can call yourself an authority on something, you must spend many hours practicing it. However, seeming immersed in that field takes just a few steps:

First, you have to be somewhat competent in that particular area of your lifestyle. There is no way around this one. If you love to travel but you can’t read a map and can’t stand hostels and trains, traveling might not be for you.

Second, you must develop some people skills in order to connect with people who share the same lifestyle. This will help you increase your value and credibility in the lifestyle you choose to follow.

Third, you should also be willing to enjoy doing things alone. The best hours that you will spend doing something, will be with yourself. In these hours, you don’t have to listen to others and you don’t have to listen to your mind resisting the voices of others. You can simply shut up (on the inside) and do what you want.

Lastly, you should be able to invest time in that lifestyle. Be it the weekends, be it some hours after work, lifestyle immersion requires time investment.

PHASE 3: CREATE AN AUTHENTIC IMAGE FOR OTHERS TO SAMPLE

Objective: Let others peer into a slice of your lifestyle and slowly discover this image through their curiosity and imagination

Your image can be finely crafted around your lifestyle. There are many ways to do this, but social media is the most prevalent. However, if you abuse social media, your lifestyle will seem too manufactured. Nothing is wrong with this, except for the fact that everybody else is also manufactured. Instead of the in-your-face approach, consider letting people simply peer into your lifestyle.

If you love sailing, then a cover picture on your Facebook profile of a Catamaran cutting through the water in your favorite beach destination is an example of how you can project lifestyle aspirations without revealing too much.

The trick is to let others peak between the false curtains into this lifestyle without letting them go too deep. You are not hiding or tricking them, but avoid overloading them with information.

When you are obsessed with something in life you want to be overloaded with information about it. The brain is simply wired like that. In turn, you would most likely also want to overload others with information to show your technical competency as well as deep interest in it.

This behavior is actually not attractive by the virtue that it allows other no space to imagine. Don’t take that away from them. It is like good storytelling. A great storyteller doesn’t reveal all the information at once. Instead, he reveals small bits, thus keeping the reader craving for more.

Usually, an image or a related article on the topic you like is all you really need to hook people, instead of a whole album of every angle possible of you doing something.

Consider using moments instead of facts. Moments have feelings and meanings. Facts don’t evoke emotion.

A friend of mine loves riding his motorcycle. Instead of just posting a picture of his bike, he might just post a picture of a twisty motorcycle road. That picture speaks volume about the desire to ride and experience the best that life has to offer.

PHASE 4: GET INDIRECT “WHO AM I” FEEDBACK FROM THE PEOPLE YOU TRUST

Objective: Fine tune your lifestyle image to increase its audience size and attractiveness.

That’s a tricky one. You can’t ask your friends what they think about your lifestyle. They are naturally biased, saying good things instead of giving you constructive criticism. You are better off asking strangers, but they usually lack the context necessary to accurately judge. For example, you wouldn’t ask a non-traveler what they think about your upcoming trip to Indonesia or Nepal.

You have to get indirect feedback from people who are familiar with your chosen lifestyle. Also don’t be afraid to ask me whenever you want.

PHASE 5: ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE AROUND YOUR “WHO AM I” IMAGE AND ACTIVITIES

Objective: Deepen and reinforce your lifestyle image through repetition.

Having a balanced lifestyle (outside of school, work, etc.) takes investment both in time and money. If you don’t organize it right, you will lose interest in it over mundane life tasks that you deem more critical. Slowly, you will also lose control over the creation process and the identity itself.

However, if you set aside a set amount of time per week dedicated to the activities comprising your lifestyle, you will find yourself doing them more. If the lifestyle is on the expensive side, you’ll also find a way to budget your income to match its required investment level. Once the activities repeat themselves often enough, you’ll find the time and money management aspects become easier. You’ll get into a habit, and be more flexible with it.

USF Taught Me to Design My Life and Shape My “Who I Am” Destiny Through Networking

College students! It’s time to hone in on one of your most powerful career-building tools: networking. Unfortunately, you won’t hear much about the importance of networking in your college classes — and it’s not because you’re daydreaming during the professor’s lecture. It’s just that professional networking doesn’t really fit into an organic-chemistry syllabus or world-literature discussion.

So, let’s get started right here, right now with the definition of networking.

You’re familiar with social networks, right? You gain followers on Instagram and add friends on Snapchat. Networking, in the professional sense, is similar in that you’re establishing connections with people typically in your field. These connections could be working professionals, experts, thought leaders, or even professors.

The purpose of networking is to form relationships with those who’ll help get you to where you want to go, and the earlier you start building up your network, the better. That’s why it’s important to start networking in college — before you’re even ready to enter the workforce.

[1]: The Benefits of Networking

Although networking might seem like a bunch of small talk, the connections you establish could result in big post-graduation opportunities. As you build up your network, you’ll find that your connections are rooting for you. Typically, they won’t mind helping you because they’ve probably been where you are right now. So, if you’re looking for career guidance, industry insight, or internship leads, someone in your network can help you out. Most importantly these connections could also play an integral role in helping you secure your first job out of college.

Sure, this sounds like something career mavens like to say, but statistics show that building a strong network creates job opportunities. For example, 35 percent of professionals say they secured their current or most recent job through a professional connection, according to Jobvite’s 2018 Job Seeker Nation study. On the other side of the coin, 60 percent of survey respondents say they’ve referred a friend or contact to a company.

“Social media, referrals, and word-of-mouth are go-to sources of new opportunities for job seekers,” the report states.

Think about it: A hiring manager could receive hundreds of two-dimensional applications for any given job opening. From behind a computer screen, how are you, as a recent graduate, going to stand out? Of course, college grads will want a top-notch resume and an attention-grabbing cover letter. To get their eyeballs that far, a glowing recommendation from a current employee or mutual connection just might do the trick.

You shouldn’t feel ashamed that someone gave you a hand; you still secured the job. Listen to anyone map out their career and at some point someone in their network probably gave them a little bit of a boost, too. Networking is one of those “I-scratch-your-back, you-scratch-my-back” sort of things, and down the road you’ll probably help someone out too. Sure, it’s not all about who you know, but you’ll find that who you know can really help jumpstart start your career — so don’t ignore this powerful tool.

[2]: 7 Simple Networking Tips

1. Build Networking into Your Everyday Routine

If the idea of networking is intimidating to your introvert-self, you’re not alone. But, with a little intention, you can start building your network during your everyday activities, like engaging with your professors and classmates.

You’re going to class… right? Sometimes your professors and classmates can be some of your most valuable assets when it comes to job hunting. Not only can your professors offer valuable industry insight and advice, they’ve also taught some bright students in the past — what are they up to now? Sometimes those former students will email professors links to job openings: “Graduation is coming up… know any promising students who could take on this role?” By actually talking to your professors, it keeps your name in the back of their minds when this question arises.

And sure, today your classmates are wearing pajamas to lecture and look pretty sloppy, but who knows where they might land after graduation. Wouldn’t it be nice to build a relationship with them now? One day they just might work at your dream company, and you can say “Hey, remember me from philosophy class? Yeah, it was the worst.”

2. Get Involved on Campus

There are a number of benefits to getting involved on campus. You’ll make friends, beef up your resume with college involvement, and, yes, build your network.

There are a ton of ways to get involved on campus, including honor societies, professional clubs, social sororities and fraternities, jobs, student media, club spots — you name it. Not only will you be able to connect with a number of other students, you’ll also be able to connect with speakers, advisers, and mentors.

If your campus has an involvement or club fair, go! Or sign up for a campus email newsletter, peruse the bulletin boards in the study lounges or library, and talk to classmates and friends. As cheesy as it sounds, there’s something out there for everyone.

3. Pay a Visit to Your Campus Career Center

Chances are, your campus has a career center full of free resources. You might think: Do I really need these? Yes, yes you do!

Find open internships or jobs posted by alumni, get tips on how to build your online presence, participate in a mock job interview, and learn about upcoming job fairs. Even if you aren’t actively looking for a job right now, it can’t hurt to stop by these job fairs. Shake hands with company representatives, pass your resume around, have conversations, learn what’s going on in your industry, and see where your potential future lies.

4. Develop Your Online Presence

If the idea of talking to strangers makes you a little sweaty, don’t worry. You can also network from behind a screen — though not exclusively. Start by building your online presence. If you haven’t already, create your LinkedIn profile. Depending on your industry, you might also want to make a website or start an online portfolio. Even if it’s a little sparse right now, you’re getting an awesome head start.

You can also leverage social media, as long as your social profiles are cleaned up. Your school might even have an alumni group on Facebook, and these can be infinitely helpful. Alumni will often post job openings within their company, and if you’re a fit, you can reach out to the poster to learn more. You already have one thing in common (ahem, where you went to school), so start a conversation. Ask thoughtful questions about the company and the open position. They just might go to their manager on Monday morning and give you a glowing recommendation, putting you ahead of the pack.

5. Be Open to New Connections

Honestly, establishing a networking connection could happen anywhere. Maybe you’re at your bus stop and overhear a professor talking and politely join in. Or you’re in line at the local coffee shop and hear a fellow student chatting about the guest lecturer they’re excited about.

6. Don’t Be Afraid to Make the First Move

Ok, so this is sounding like a dating guide. But really, don’t be afraid to make the first move when it comes to building your network. Confidence can go a long way! Our best small-talk tip? Be genuine. Don’t treat networking like a game of who can make the most connections or how many resumes you can pass around. Instead, genuinely take interest in who you’re talking to — who they are and what they do. Try to remember important information about them. If you have to, jot some notes down in your phone.

If you’re having trouble keeping a conversation flowing, start asking some thoughtful questions: “How did you become the CEO of your company?” “What does your day-to-day look like?” “Any advice for  a young person who’s looking to get into your industry?” “What are some important things I should look for when applying to jobs?” These are just some examples of what you could ask.

7. Maintain Your USF Networks

We can’t emphasize enough that networking is more than collecting business cards, passing out resumes, and gaining LinkedIn connections. It’s hard work, and you’ll want to invest some time in maintaining your networks. If you meet someone at a job fair, for example, shoot them an email afterward. Even if they don’t have your perfect job position open right now, let them know you appreciate the time they took to talk to you.

For brownie points, throw in something personal you learned during your conversation. This will show that you were genuinely listening, and they just might remember you when they’re hiring again.

The Importance of USF Networking is Very Real

Now that you understand the benefits of networking in college, go ahead and get out there! If you’re hesitant or shy, know it’ll get better with some practice and time. Plus, the sooner you start networking, the better your chances are of connecting with someone who’ll help give you a little job-search boost later on. Final Note

As a final note, I want to stress out that usually what happens is that you make the lifestyle, not the other way around.

Don’t let the equipment, group, or culture define you. The Aston doesn’t make James Bond cool, James Bond makes the Aston cool. You might be a gear-geek, a collaborator, or a cultural icon, but behind it all, your identity must be ready to be unhinged to these things at a moment’s notice.

Also, watch out for moments that could ruin your identity in the eyes of others, like getting into an argument with somebody who tries to get attention by provoking you. Haters and trolls are everywhere and they just feed on your insecurity. Your image is not your ego, nor should it be tied to your ego. Once you have projected it, you have little control over how it is perceived. Invest your energy only in people that are important to you and ignore the rest.

On that same vein, avoid taking your identity too seriously. Learn to laugh at it from time to time. Be open-minded and flexible. Your identity shouldn’t become an obsession. Your identity is there to empower you. It is a tool to help you enjoy a more authentic and interesting lifestyle.

AVOCATION

Minister at Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco

I was a minister and member of the Board of Directors at Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco for many years.

Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of affirmative prayer.

We believed that all people are created with sacred worth and we are free of discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, creed, religion, ethnicity, ability, and sexual orientation.

Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco was a center for spiritual growth and enrichment. We were part of the New Thought movement, which takes a positive, practical, progressive approach to spiritual development.

I studied and applied the teachings of Jesus, the Buddha, and other great masters and teachers, ancient and contemporary. I applied them when my son Clayton was attacked by 21 guys with baseball bats and metal pies attacked him on February 28th 2003. He was declared dead that night. I made a deal with my God and he was returned to life. He suffered a  traumatic brain injury [TBI] injury, stroke, loss of eyesight, and other things.

It took 20 years of personal care at a cost of over $3.5 million in medical expense, and my lost earnings to bring him back to an almost normal life.

During that time I continued to studied the Bible and do as God directed me.

Many people study or look at the Bible as history and allegory, or interpret it as a metaphysical representation of humankind’s evolutionary journey toward spiritual awakening.

I believed in the power of affirmative prayer. I used prayer and meditation as tools to deepen my relationship with God, also know God as Spirit, Source, Higher Self, Inner Being, the Divine…the list goes on.

At Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco we honored all names for God and all paths to God. Whatever your beliefs, you are welcome here.

Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco was the premiere place to experience cutting-edge spiritual teachings. Classes, workshops, events and the Sunday Morning Experience explored New Thought, mystical, and New Age teachings and practices. We were a growing spiritual center and a thriving community of conscious individuals! My Ministerial Team and congregation had an indescribable energy that you must experience to appreciate.

Minister at St Stevens Catholic Church

I am presently a minister at St Stevens Catholic Church. I have been a minister there for the past 11 years. PAST BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

After leaving the Carpenter’s Union Local 22 in San Francisco, California in 1980, I passed the California Bar and started my own legal business named Construction Law Offices.

My focus was construction litigation. During that time I became a US District Court Arbitrator and a San Francisco Superior Court arbitrator. I practiced law from December 1980 until my retirement in August of 2002.

I was also an instructor at the Reitenbach Institute of Taekwondo in Daily City, California. I served in this capacity from 2011 until 2019 when the building was destroyed by a fire.

TAEKWONDO MARTIAL EXPERIENCE

I am a 4th Degree Kukkiwon Certified Black Belt and an assistant coach here at USF where as needed I help Grand Master Sydney Reitenbach teach Taekwondo.

I have learning since 1983 and teaching Taekwondo since 2011.

ACTIVE MILITARY EXPERIENCE

Before attending the University of San Francisco I was honorably discharged from the US Army Special Forces.

As a Green Beret, I was a guerrilla warfare expert and use unconventional tactics to fight terrorists abroad. I am a Vietnam Veteran. I received an Honorable Discharge.

Special Forces Soldiers are legendary for taking on the most sensitive missions in the Army—from sabotaging enemy communications and supply lines to infiltrating enemy lines through quiet, guerrilla war-style tactics.

As a member of this elite Special Operations Forces, I worked in a focused, small-team operational structure, leveraging the most advanced technology, weapons, and gear. To become a Special Forces Soldier, I went through rigorous training and a highly selective evaluation, testing my physical and mental stamina.

SMALL, TACTICAL TEAMS WITH EXPERT SKILLS

I worked in small skilled teams where I served in my specialized field and was trained to withstand increased levels of stress. My expertise in these teams include weapons, communications, medical, engineering, operations, intelligence, and leadership.

INTENSE TRAINING TO BECOME A GREEN BERET

To become a Special Forces Soldier, I underwent challenging training. It helped me increase my initiative, self-reliance, maturity, and resourcefulness when I was in the field.

This extensive preparation includes several training steps. I had to pass each step in order to advance to the next level of training.

PREPARE PHYSICALLY

I focused and took the Special Forces Preparation Course. This was a six-week course that prepared my physical fitness and land navigation skills so I could succeed in the last two steps of training.

TEST SURVIVAL SKILLS

I completed the second step. The Special Forces Assessment and Selection. This was a test of survival skills and intense physical and mental training to prepare me for the final step.

IMMERSIVE SPECIAL FORCES TRAINING AND GRADUATION

I completed the final step which was the Special Forces Qualification Course. This was a 53-week course that includes advanced special operations techniques (ASOT): survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE) exercises. A new language will also be assigned to me to learn during the course.

The entire training program lead up to a Special Forces mission during a staged invasion of the fictional country of Pineland. Here, I was tested on my ability to use my guerrilla-style skills. I pass this training, and graduate as a Special Forces Soldier. Only those able to withstand the difficult training and meet these incredible challenges earn the right to wear the Green Beret.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

After leaving the US Military, I became a carpenter in Carpenter’s Union Local 22 in San Francisco, California where I went from apprentice carpenter to journeyman, to foreman, to superintendent to California licensed general contractor.

UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO

I am a graduate of the University of San Francisco where I received a degree in Business and Management.

SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY

I am also a graduate from San Francisco State University where I received a degree in Construction Management.

NIGHTINGALE-CONANT CORPORATIONPERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

I am a constant life long student of Nightingale-Conant Corporation. It pioneered the publishing of self-development audiotapes.

In 1978, Nightingale-Conant made a strategic decision to begin publishing and marketing new authors, and added Denis Waitley as its second author. His recording The Psychology of Winning reached gold status when it sold 1.5 million copies, making it the bestselling audio self-improvement program in history.

Because of the success of Waitley’s program, the Company began to publish a variety of authors. Since then, the size of the self-improvement market has grown significantly, and Nightingale-Conant has been successful in promoting an increasing number of authors.

MY SIDE BUSINESS

I have a Network Marketing side business. Network Marketing businesses are all about making customers healthier and improving their lifestyle. They are also about giving the best network marketing salespeople the chance to set their own hours and work upwards towards bigger and better bonus opportunities. Network Marketing is about the chance for a better job and life on your terms. You can be the boss of your own career and your own life with network marketing worldwide!

Network marketing industry generates more than $189+ billion in sales every year. Network marketing industry reached $35 billion in sales in the year 2019 in America alone.

A Network Marketing company is a home business or a “work from anywhere” business that you can join as long as you have a smartphone, laptop, and WiFi. There is no need to return to the office with the rest of the workforce if you are thriving with a top Network Marketing company! This will be the year of YOU if you can succeed in a new multi-level marketing venture.

Let’s discuss more about what network marketing is and why you should consider this business model.

Network Marketing Allows You To Launch A Big Business On A Shoestring Budget In Any Economy With Low Risk

Network marketing provides an almost unparalleled lucrative opportunity to start your own business from anywhere with a proven business model and minimal initial investment. A low cost and low risk new Network Marketing business is especially tempting in today’s economic recession or depression when other startup options aren’t viable.

Network Marketing Business Advantages

Traditional franchises or other proven business model opportunities cost an unrealistic 5-8 figures (that means $10,000 – $10,000,000+) to get started. Top Network Marketing businesses cost just 2-3 figures to get started and still offer tremendous earning potential.

To be more specific, the my business cost between $100 and $500 to get started and comes with a 180 day guarantee. Most new Traditional businesses cost over $50,000 to get started. There is no guarantee. In my business people get free training from the corporation as well as from your upline mentors.

Your financial risk is also much lower starting my business than another more traditional business model, as long as you use common sense.

There’s no reason you should ever lose more than a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars even if you fail miserably in my. It does happen from time to time, but usually those people are business or financially illiterate or to people who shouldn’t own or manage a business of any sort ever.

If you launch a regular startup or traditional business, you could easily lose tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars if you fail, and it could cost you everything you own. Now which business model is higher risk?

With my business you also don’t have to deal with much of the massive supply chain disruptions, staff shortages, or inflation. The industry is now more digital than ever and it can shield you from this typical economic turbulence.

Just use common sense and conservative finances with my business to reduce risk while optimizing your business upside.

My business was founded: November 9, 1959 (62 years ago); Has Annual Revenue: of $8.4 billion (2019); has 16,000+ employees and has its Headquarters: Ada, Michigan, United States

Affirmations for Health, Wealth, Happiness, Abundance “I AM” (21 days to a New You!)

(1)  attainment;

[2]: YOU ARE THE PERSON WHO DESIGNS YOUR LIFE AND SHAPES YOUR DESTINY

The Meditation begins at 5:20 This is the I AM meditation through a variety of powerful I AM affirmations you will get into contact with the true I AM within and blossom into the I AM that you were meant to become “I AM” “I AM” is the Activity of “That Life.”

The student, endeavoring to understand and apply these mighty, yet simple Laws, must stand guard more strictly over his thought and expression—in word or otherwise; for every time you say “I AM not,” “I cannot,” “I have not,” you are, whether knowingly or unknowingly, throttling that “Great Presence” within you.

Thus you can see how important it is for you to know what you are doing when you thoughtlessly use wrong expressions; because you are using the Most Divine Principle of Activity in the Universe— “I AM.” Ascended Master Saint Germain The I AM Meditation

[2]: The Power of “I AM” Meditation #2

Do you like what the mirror reflects back to you and your background tells you? If it is not what you would like to live with, don’t accept it. Rather, look into the mirror of your mind and assume that you are what you would like to be.

This simply means that you will refuse to accept any of them, discarding them immediately they occur, as fictional ideas, without basis in truth, delusions that are without foundation for they have no roots in your mind.

We are a Catholic Community that is called by God to follow Jesus Christ.  We believe that we are called to worship God together, to lead God’s people along the path of hope laid down by Jesus, to share his message through preaching, through the education and formation of our people, young and old, and through caring service and sensitive outreach to those in need.
