In addition to physical benefits, a positive attitude produces a “broad, flexible cognitive organization and ability to integrate diverse material.” These effects are linked to increases in neural dopamine levels, which improve your attention, creativity, and ability to learn.

A positive attitude is one type of attitude in organizational behaviour. One needs to understand how much a positive attitude it takes to keep the work moving and progressing.

Day 2: Committing Your Purpose to a Written Plan of Action Lesson

Everybody knows, the difference between knowing what to do and doing it is whether or not we schedule it in a written plan of action.  

A written plan of action 1. Involve your team 2. List the actions that need to be taken 3. Set a timeline 4. Designate resources 5. Establish a follow-up and measurement process 6. Communicate the plan 7. Keep the plan alive.

A written plan of action consists of seven steps: setting objectives, assessing the objectives, identifying action required to meet the objectives, working out how to evaluate the activity, agreeing a time-frame for action, identifying resources (human, financial and technical), finalising the plan, and evaluating the results.

An action plan or a plan of action is a detailed plan which outlines all the actions required, all the people involved, and all the resources required to complete a certain task or to accomplish a certain goal.

The components of an action plan. Written Plan of Action: Actions (steps you plan to take to achieve your goals) Persons in charge (staff members who will be handling each step) Timeline (deadline for each step) Resources (assets you need to allocate for each step) Potential barriers (factors that can potentially hinder the completion of each step) Outcomes (desired result for each step)
