What Does the Bible Say About Wealth Manifestation?

Wealth is the abundance of valuable possessions or money. When we have wealth, we have more than we need to sustain a normal life. By this definition, and in comparison with the rest of the world, most people in developed countries are wealthy. How To Command Riches

Some believe wealth is wrong and, if someone has more than enough, he or she should spread it around equally. Catherine Ponder – Financial Independence Can Be Yours Others say that wealth is the result of hard work and wise investments, and no one else has any claim to it. How To Attract Money By Dr. Joseph Murphy Wealth is dealt with in the Bible, and it is there we find the proper perspective on it. Wallace D Wattles, The Science of Getting Rich

The Bible does not say God makes you wealthy; it says He will give you the power to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). That means, He will always give you something to put your hands to, anoint your ability, and bring THE BLESSING on the scene when you are obedient to His commands.

A growing trend in Christian circles, particularly here in the global West, is the idea of something called manifestation.

At its core, manifestation theology is closely related to what is sometimes referred to as “name it and claim it” theology or the new age “law of attraction.” Essentially, the idea is that you will attract what you release. If you have positive thoughts, you will attract positive results.

So what is manifestation? How does it work?

Proponents of manifestation encourage people to think positive thoughts about something and believe that the thing they desire will come about (that is, it will physically manifest). “If I truly believe it will happen, then it will happen.”

For example, you might find someone attempting to manifest their dreams and desires. Many people are trying to make their material desires a reality, such as getting the car they always wanted, the husband they deeply desire, or land the job of their dreams.

What Does the Bible Say About Manifestation (KJV)?

The word that is usually translated in our English Bibles as “manifestation” occurs in Greek as a noun (phanerōsis), an adverb (phanerōs), an adjective (phaneros), and a verb (phaneroō). In general, the root meaning of the word carries the idea of something that is apparent, well-known, visible, made to appear, revealed.

As a noun and adverb, we see the word used only a few times. For example:

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”1 Corinthians 12:7

In this verse, the word “manifestation” is referring to the outward evidence of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the lives of believers. Vernon Howard – How Your Mind Attracts Prosperity

The adjective and verb are much more commonly used in Scripture, but a few examples are:

“And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.” John 1:31

“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.” Romans 1:19

“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” Luke 8:17

In these verses, the word “manifest” could also mean something like “revealed” or  “made clear.

What is the Meaning of Manifestation in the Bible?

While the meaning of these related Greek words can be used in a variety of ways, one of the most theologically significant ways the Bible speaks of “manifestation” is to talk about the physical and powerful demonstration of God into our fallen world. Mastering The Art Of Manifestation

In other words, “manifestation” in the Bible is often used to describe the ways in which God enters into his creation to accomplish his sovereign purposes in the world.

Is Manifestation a Sin in the Bible?

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights.” James 1:17 Emmett Fox – The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse

One of the primary ways in which today’s understanding of “manifestation” falls short of the biblical picture is a misunderstanding of what kind of good and perfect gifts Christians should desire. Money Magnetism

The modern idea of manifestation is a sin because it makes little of the gift Christians have in, from, and through Christ, and seeks to replace the power of God with the power of the human will.

As the verse from James above makes clear, all good and perfect things come from God, and Jesus himself is the greatest and most perfect gift of all. The spiritual blessings that flow from being in relationship with Him, such as the fruit of the spirit, maturing in the Christian faith, seeing lives and communities transformed by the gospel, are all gifts incomparably greater than any material blessing someone might seek to manifest.

In manifestation, we, as humans, are the reason we receive good gifts. When we receive praise for the good things in our lives, rather than God getting the credit he is due, this is discrediting God for his works and is a sin. By way of contrast, the Bible makes it clear that God is a father who takes care of His children.

The act of meditating on something other than God’s word in hopes to bring it to fruition is sinful. The Bible tells us to set our minds on the “things above” (Colossians 3:2), which is speaking of heavenly things. When we try to manifest something, our focus is on ourselves and often earthly possessions.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Trusting in ourselves and the power of our own mind to change our own futures more than trusting God’s control over our lives is a sin. Also, trusting in ourselves to “save” our own lives is a sin. Manifestation cannot save us, only God can. Neville Goddard The Fundamental Sin

Manifestation seems to know no limits or bounds. What is desired is what can be manifested. However, from a biblical perspective, there could be occasions of people ”manifesting “ sinful or harmful situations, such as desiring harm to come upon someone. Dr Joseph Murphy Activating The Psychic Money Machine (with extra affirmations and meditation)

Examples of Manifestation in the Bible

There are numerous occasions in the Bible where Jesus speaks something in faith and it comes to fruition. While some may define this as him “manifesting” his desires, there are some inherent differences. Prosperity Consciousness – How to use the power of your mind to create prosperity in your life

In Luke 5, we see Jesus ask the Jewish religious leaders whether it is easier to tell a man his sins are forgiven or to restore his ability to walk. To prove to the onlookers that he has the power and authority to do both, Jesus both forgives the man’s sin and restores his health.

One of the key differences between this event in Jesus’ life and the so-called “law of attraction” is that Jesus is giving rather than receivingWhat Jesus receives is praise — a praise that is due only to him since he is himself God in the flesh. In manifestation, the focus is on receiving things. The “law of attraction” can only apply to humans, since  Jesus heals because He is in control of all things.

In Matthew 26:21, Jesus tells his followers that one of them will betray him. Later that night, that very thing happens. Having the appearance of our modern definition of manifestation, this may appear to some as sending negative thoughts or vibes and receiving negativity in return. However, taking the biblical claim seriously that Jesus is God would lead to a different conclusion: as God, Jesus has knowledge of all things. In the example of Jesus, foreknowledge of a negative future event is not the same thing as manifesting negativity as a result of projecting negative thoughts.

While there are many more examples from Jesus’ life that may be mistakenly construed as manifestation, there are many reasons why this is not the case:

  • His miracles point to God and glorify God alone
  • His miracles are to serve others rather than to be served
  • His path to the cross was part of the greater plan of redemption, as laid out from the foundation of the world

What Does the Bible Say About Manifesting Your Dreams?

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18

It is important for people to have a vision and goals for their lives.

“A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

This shows us that it is okay to have dreams for ourselves and our future, as long as we understand that ultimately God is the one who determines the outcome of our lives. Things may not always go as we hope but they will always go according to God’s great plan. Guided Meditation Manifesting Your Dreams And Desires

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11

Our God is a gracious Father who knows everything we need (Matthew 6:25-34). This shows us that it is still important for us to share our desires and dreams with God. He hears us and wants to give us good things. He doesn’t mind us presenting our requests to Him and he is fair to hear them, though ultimately it is God himself who guides our lives according to his plan. Physical Manifestations of God in the Bible

Over against the trend today to see one’s dreams manifested in physical form. The 3 Most Powerful Reality Creation Techniques The Bible gives numerous examples of physical manifestations of God.

Some Examples:

  • God walked in the Garden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8)
  • God appears to Abraham in a smoking fire pot and flaming torch (Genesis 15:17)
  • God appears to Jacob, Jacob wrestles with God (Genesis 32:23-32)
  • God appears to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3)
  • God appears to all of Israel at Mount Sinai (Exodus 19:16-25)
  • God appears to Joshua to take command of the armies of Israel (Joshua 5:13-6:5)
  • God the Son appears in the flesh, given the name Jesus  (Matthew 1:18-25)
  • Jesus appears to his followers after his resurrection from the dead (John 20:19)
  • Jesus appears to John on the Island of Patmos (Revelation 1:17)

In contrast to the ways in which physical manifestations are conceived of today, these physical manifestations of God in the Bible serve not to make our dreams a physical reality, but for God to accomplish his purposes physically here on the earth.

Bible Verses Against Manifestation

Although it is generally true that the way we think shapes the way we behave (Romans 12:1), this is very different from saying our mind has the ability to create the physical results it desires. Guided Meditation Maximum Wealth There are numerous ways in which the Bible speaks against the modern notion of manifestation.

Instead of seeking our own wisdom in order to gain something in this life, the Bible directs our attention to the One through whom all spiritual blessings flow.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

The bible is clear that we are to put our trust in God, even above ourselves and the intentions of our own corrupt hearts (Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 94:11; Jeremiah 17:9) .

“And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth” Deuteronomy 8:17-18

He is the creator of the universe, the writer of our story, and the one who is in control of our lives.

What Does the Bible Say About Wealth?

Wealth is the abundance of valuable possessions or money. When we have wealth, we have more than we need to sustain a normal life. Your Prosperity Begins With You By this definition, and in comparison with the rest of the world, most people in developed countries are wealthy. Dr Joseph Murphy How To Make And Use A Psychic Treasure Map

Some believe wealth is wrong and, if someone has more than enough, he or she should spread it around equally. Others say that wealth is the result of hard work and wise investments, and no one else has any claim to it. Wealth is dealt with in the Bible, and it is there we find the proper perspective on it.

We know that wealth itself is not sinful. Wealth is not offensive to God because He often blessed His servants with wealth when they pleased Him (Deuteronomy 28:1–8). Abraham (Genesis 13:2), Jacob (Genesis 30:43), and King Solomon (1 Kings 10:23) are examples of wealthy men in the Bible who were used by God in mighty ways. In the Old Testament, wealth was sometimes an indicator of the Lord’s pleasure and blessing. However, wealth has never been an accurate barometer of a person’s standing with God. Some righteous people are poor while some wicked people are rich (Psalm 73Jeremiah 12:1).

In the New Testament, too, several wealthy people were instrumental in advancing God’s kingdom. Matthew (Luke 5:27–29), Joanna (Luke 8:3), Joseph of Arimathea (Matthew 27:57), Zacchaeus (Luke 19:8), and Lydia (Acts 16:14–15) were all individuals of great means who were called by God for a special work and who used their wealth for a righteous cause. Wealth itself is morally neutral. What we do with wealth can either enhance good or create more evil. Wealth can be used for God’s purposes or for selfish goals.

One verse about wealth often misquoted is 1 Timothy 6:10, which says, in part, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” This verse is sometimes used to say that money is evil, but that is not what it says. It is the love of money, not money itself, that leads to evil choices. In this epistle, Paul warned his young protégé Timothy about false teachers who would infiltrate the church for financial profit. Their greed would not only fleece unsuspecting believers but also infect the church with the love of money. The verse goes on to say, “Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” The Bible never says that money is evil, only to avoid the love of it.

Another warning the Bible gives us about money is that it can quickly become an idol: “Though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them” (Psalm 62:10). When we have abundance, we tend to grow lazy spiritually, believing our money will take care of us. Our hearts grow resistant to self-sacrifice, and our focus shifts from eternal riches to earthly bank balances. Jesus said that it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it was for a rich person to inherit eternal life (Mark 10:25). Our Lord put wealth in perspective when He said, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions” (Luke 12:15).

When wealth becomes an idol, it also becomes our downfall. Jesus illustrated this in the parable of the rich fool, which teaches the foolishness of trusting in riches without keeping God as the center of one’s life (Luke 12:14–21). Jesus, who knows our hearts, warned us about trying to serve two masters (Luke 16:13). We cannot love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength if we also love money (Mark 12:30). God will not share His throne.

Proverbs 30:7–9 is a prayer that models the right attitude about wealth: “Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” When our daily prayer is that God will meet all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), we remind ourselves where our help comes from (Psalm 121:1–2). Any abundance beyond that daily sustenance is a gift from the Lord, and we are to use it wisely. When we consider that all we have and all we are belongs to God, we are more careful to use it all for His glory (1 Corinthians 10:31). When we see wealth as an investment entrusted to us by its rightful Owner, we are more likely to keep it in right perspective. You Are The Source

8 STEPS TO MANIFEST FINANCIAL WEALTH AND ABUNDANCE

Learning to manifest financial wealth is one of the greatest life skills to master … for obvious reasons. How To Attract Money By Dr. Joseph Murphy It may seem difficult (even impossible) yet it can be achieved if you remain disciplined and follow structured processes.

At first glance … this may seem too crazy to be true … even impossible. The Power of I AM – by David Allen: Chapter 1 However … Science PROVES you can manifest money by using certain techniques and reprogramming your mind. Let’s explore this.

The Power of Your Mind

You ultimately have control over your life. How? You’ll respond not to what is real, but rather what you perceive is real. The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind By Dr Joseph Murphy, Napoleon Hill The Power Of Your Mind and Hacking your Subconscious Mind The Master Key System in 28 Lessons ( Complete ) Make sense?

Another compelling study of the power of your mind was conducted by a Harvard Medical School teacher, Dr. Ted Kaptchuk.

Kaptchuk got together a large group of patients looking for pain relief to conduct a test. He separated his patients into two different groups. One first group of patients took a prescription medication, while the second group took acupuncture treatment.

Half of the subjects who took the anti-pain medication reported to be sluggish, couldn’t get out of bed and were swelling up. They received ALL the side effects they were warned with.

All the patients who took the acupuncture treatment were reported back with incredible results.

The interesting thing to note is the pills Dr. Kaptchuk’s team handed the first group of patients was actually made of corn-starch, while the acupuncture was retractable shams which never pierced the skin.

In summary, the patients who took the pain relief medication believed they were going to receive the side effects … so they did even though the medication was only made of corn-starch. Whereas the people who took the acupuncture treatment believed they were going to be healed … and they did get healed even though the needle never touched their skin.

This shows the power of your mind and how thoughts manifest into reality.

8 Simple Steps to Manifest Wealth and Abundance into Your Life Today.

Step 1: Be CLEAR in what you DESIRE

If you don’t have a reason or purpose behind your manifestation, it’s unlikely to come into reality. This is because, when you don’t have a clear intention, you won’t have a deep desire to pursue your manifestation.

By contrast, when you have a clear intention, you’ll feel motivated to achieve the manifestation. Also, your subconscious mind will respond better to something clear and precise.

Now … I’m going to ask you to do something.

Write out:

– How much you’d like to manifest

– Why you’d like to manifest that amount

– What you’d do with the wealth you manifest

These questions are essential to answer as it provides a basic foundation to your manifestation. Furthermore, it helps your subconscious mind get clear on what you desire and how you can achieve it.

Step 2: Create/Formulate the Abundance Manifestation

Once you’re clear on what you’d like to do with the wealth you attract, infuse the manifestation into your subconscious mind. Meaning, allow the manifestation to become one with you.

To do this, visualize (imagine) owning the wealth you desire to manifest. How does it feel? What does it smell like? What sensations arise when you think of it? Embrace it as if you have it now.

Once you start feeling abundant, move onto the next step … which is to formulate the manifestation.

To do this, draw a tri-veca code on a piece of paper, and inside the middle interlacing circle …write the amount of money you desire to attract.

manifesting wealth and abundance

Inhale the code into your third eye with the goal in the middle, and relax. However, if you’re not sure how to inhale the code into your third eye, allow me to explain how you can do it.

Firstly, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Secondly, visualize the code transferring from in front of you to your third eye (which is located in the middle of your forehead). Lastly, embrace the code and allow it to become one you.

Step 3: Get Into a Deep Brain State for Manifesting

We have 5 different brain states.

  • Gamma
  • Beta
  • Alpha
  • Theta
  • Delta

In your everyday life, you’re operating in a “Beta” brain state. This is when your mind is going quickly and thinking about many things at once. This is NOT the ideal brain state to be in while manifesting.

When you’re setting a manifestation, or desiring to get ideas … it’s CRUCIAL to get into a deep brain state. If you’re unsure on what a deep brain state is, it’s a slower, quieter and more peaceful brain state.

For example, just before you fall asleep, you enter a deep brain state. All your thoughts, emotions, burdens, etc. leave your body until you enter a sleep … which is when you’re in an unconscious brain state.

Moving forward …

Being in a deep brain state is imperative if you desire to manifest wealth. The answer is quite simple. When you’re in a deep brain state, you gain a better connection between yourself, your subconscious mind and the universe.

“I think 99 times and find nothing. I stop thinking, swim in the silence, and the truth comes to me.” – Albert Einstein

Or in this case, the manifestation will come to you. Being silent and still connects you with the universe, and gets your message across much easier and more efficiently.

Step 4: Command the Manifestation to Generate Wealth

Once you’re in a deep brain state, command the manifestation to come into reality. In a sense, bring heaven to earth. You can do this by commanding, “I am wealthy” or “I am attracting more and more money as each day passes,” etc.

However, you must perform this with conviction. There can’t be striving, anxiety or worry it might not happen. When you command, you MUST have conviction and authority it is done.

Moving on …

Belief is the key. You can do everything right, but without belief, nothing is possible. Jesus said “What so ever things ye desire; believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

“The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible.” – Alice, Alice in Wonderland

Feel your manifestation and speak of it as if it’s real.

Your manifestation has already formed in the mind and universe … now you just need to bring it into the physical world. Speak it as if it already is done, and have gratitude.

“I command by the laws of the golden liquid realms and alchemical powers, that the tri-veca code be used to manifest X amount of wealth into reality by Y.”

This is a great, simple and effective command to use.

“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear”. – Isaiah 65:24 (KJV)

Or in other words … before you call (send your manifestation to the universe), Source has already answered, and given it to you.

Step 5: Remove the Blockages (Or Negative Beliefs)

Once you’ve commanded your manifestation to come into form, the next step is to remove your negative beliefs and blockages around money.

Some negative beliefs you may have around money are …

– You don’t think you deserve money

– Believe money is the root of all evil

– Think you’ll attract the wrong people with more money

– Think you’re not good enough to make a lot of money

– Feel guilty having money

– Feel having money isn’t spiritual

– And many more

Another thing to be mindful of is the people you hang around. If they have limited beliefs around money (a poverty mindset) … you’ll be heavily influenced by their energy.

However, if you decide to hang around people with limiting beliefs around money, make sure your mindset is strong and untampered. You can do this by observing their attitude and beliefs around money, and doing the exact opposite.

You must ensure you surround yourself with positive influences and the right people.

To attract the wealth you desire, you must let go of beliefs or thoughts holding you back.

We’ve done a video which helps slow your mind down, and remove the negative beliefs you have around money with a powerful energy healing.

Other ways to clear out false beliefs include meditation, energy healings, affirmations, etc.

You also need to constantly feed your subconscious mind with positive thoughts around your wealth.

Step 6: Take Instant Action

You won’t get anywhere if you set a manifestation and don’t take action. (When you have a clear image of what you desire but take no action, that’s just a daydream).

Once you’ve cleared the blockages, and you’re clear on how much you desire to manifest, take instant action no matter how small it is. Listen to your senses and follow your gut.

You may get an urge to …

– Call an old friend

– Research about starting a business

– List out your passions

– Start a new job

– Invest into a project

Whatever you feel to do in that moment, do it immediately. Don’t be afraid to take risks. You’ll never achieve anything if you stay rigid in your thinking and continue doing what you’ve always done.

If you make a mistake, learn from it and start again. Imagine how your life would’ve been if you failed to walk on your first attempt and just gave up. The same principle applies to making money.

By the time tomorrow comes, you most likely will forget and just continue your old patterns and way of living. No matter how small your action is, as Nike says … just do it.

7. Let Go and “Let God”

This step sounds simple, but many people struggle to fully embrace it. That is, to let go of all expectation, and just trust.

As I mentioned earlier, belief is the key. Get rid of all striving, longing, worry, lack, emotion, etc.

Have patience, belief and have a deep knowing the universe has answered you and is manifesting wealth 10x what you asked for.

Step 8: Watch For the Signs

Watch for synchronicities, opportunities and events which come into your life after you’ve set your manifestation and followed the previous steps.

The universe works in mysterious ways and likes to test you. If difficulties or extraordinary scenarios come into your life, overcome them and achieve your goal. Or … If positive events come into your life, take advantage and claim/pursue it with authority.

– Certain people may appear out of nowhere.

– You may be lead to specific books

– You may be lead to join a course

– And many more

Everyone has a moment in their life where chance and luck favor them. Only the strong take it and bring it into their reality. Let that be you. And make sure you have fun.

Without real purpose or fun behind your journey to manifest wealth … it’s not worth it. Your Were born rich. How to discover success in your life.

Now, all this sounds marvelous and straightforward in principle. However … I’ll emphasize you can’t fall into the trap that whatever you ask for will come. You MUST take serious action and constantly follow your gut, even if it logically doesn’t make any sense.
