“Wow! What a powerful gift!”

Are You Stuck in a Comfort Zone So You Can’t Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment?

Another less obvious sign that you or your team are stuck in a comfort zone is a general feeling of unhappiness or disinterest. If you are showing up at work each day and just going through the motions but are mainly unmotivated, disinterested, or unfulfilled – you’re stuck in your comfort zone.

Here are 4 signs you’re stuck in your comfort zone and ways to get out of them.

  1. You’ve Mastered Your Routine

There are tons of benefits to maintaining a routine in your day-to-day life. For many people, it provides stability and allows them to cross tasks off their to-do list.

But if your everyday routine fails to help you try new things or meet new people, then it’s time to reevaluate how you spend your time. If you’re a master of your routine and have nowhere new to go with it, then making even a few minor adjustments can help you get out of a rut.

Try adding time slots for new interests or events into your schedule. You can always make a mental note, but being intentional about it by blocking out time encourages you to follow through. It’s crucial not to sink back into your usual mode of comfort and, instead, push yourself into new, exciting situations.

2. Your Day to Day is Predictable

When’s the last time something happened during the day that you didn’t expect? Or the last time you intentionally tried something new? If it’s been a while, then this is another sign you’re stuck in your comfort zone.

Failing to try new things, start new projects, or meet new people leaves you in a stagnant cycle of mediocrity. Living a so-so life isn’t going to make you feel fulfilled or content, so it’s important to prioritize switching up your everyday lifestyle.

All it takes is one small step to start making big changes that point you in the right direction. Something as simple as going for a morning walk every morning instead of sleeping in can help you appreciate nature, practice mindfulness, and boost your creativity.

3. You Wait for Life to Happen

Are you guilty of letting life happen to you instead of going after what you want? Too many people live their lives on autopilot rather than staying active and being productive. Without making the intention to venture into new territory, you’ll continue to feel unsure of yourself.

Instead of waiting for good things to happen, make them happen for yourself. Treat yourself like the main character of your life where you set goals, make time for loved ones, and cross items off your bucket list.

You might have a whole list of things you want to do for the first time or hobbies you want to commit to. Instead of putting them off, mark these tasks on your calendar.

Create a schedule where you commit to doing the activity rather than promising you’ll get to it later. Having it written out helps your brain reinforce the idea so you follow through instead of brushing it off.

4. You Avoid Discomfort

People stay in their comfort zones because, well, they’re comfortable. The familiarity feels like home, but too much of anything isn’t good for you. If you allow yourself to stay comfortable for long periods, it’ll eventually catch up to you. Emotions like excitement and passion show up less often and the lack of enthusiasm for your life won’t help you succeed.

Living life everyday without a clear sense of where you’re going is the easiest way to get stuck in a rut. It might feel comfortable, but is it worth missing out on a meaningful life? You only get to experience it once, so you might as well make the most of the experience.

To escape of your comfort zone, you may have to force yourself

This could mean saying positive things to yourself about trying new things or telling friends your plan so they can hype you up. Having a support system helps you follow through with your plans and improve your personal growth.

If you’re stuck in a rut, it’s never too late to get out of it. It takes determination to do things you normally wouldn’t and shake up your routine. But doing so is necessary to live a fulfilling life that brings you happiness and makes you feel content. Life is too short to waste, so if you feel like you need a major change in your life, these tips are sure to help you get started. How will you step out of your comfort zone?

Transformation and Manifestation of Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

What Is Manifesting?

In simple terms, manifesting something is essentially making something you want to occur or happen by simply believing that it will. Guided Meditation Manifesting True Love And Attracting Your Life Partner

While manifesting can take on a more complicated meaning for some, the most basic form of manifesting mostly has to do with adopting a positive mindset.

Though there are of course limits to manifestation, it’s important not to underestimate the power of changing your mindset. That’s where the magic happens. How To Manifest A Text From A Specific Person (with Meditation)

The LAWS that Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

The Universal laws also known as the laws of nature by some authors are natural principles that describe and define the interrelationships between several natural forces, such as harmony, attraction, karma, love, etc. The Complete Guide Book To the “Law Of Attraction”! The Universal Laws Of Success And Achievement

It is these laws that govern our entire universe. The 7 mental laws  That is, all areas of creation – all circumstances/conditions, the entire events that everyone experiences either as an individual or collectively. The 12 Universal Laws

This they do with such a precision that is absolute. These laws are applicable to everybody, not minding the social status, educational background, geographic location, nationality, age, gender, etc.

The Universal laws are graceful, balanced, precise (mathematically), as well as constant. There are no errors in them. They are so perfect that they give the same result universally to those who obey them promptly.

Unlike the artificial laws made by man that you get punished when broken, there is no punishment for not adhering to the universal laws. You either get an expected result for obeying them or get nothing for not obeying them. Therefore, for some things to work positively for us, we must know and abide by some of these laws.

The Seven Laws of the Universe to Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment.

Within this Universe, there are seven major Universal Laws or Principles that explain how energy, frequencies, and vibrations “work. The 7 mental laws  These laws, which are as real as the law of physics, dictate the rules to the Game of Life and how to consciously create the life we want. The Universal Laws

  1. The Law of Attraction or Vibration

To understand the Law of Attraction, let’s first understand its underlying counterpart, the Law of Vibration.

The Law of Vibration decrees that everything moves, or vibrates, nothing rests. Everything ever created, from the smallest atomic particle to the largest skyscraper, is in a constant state of energetic motion.

Now, the thoughts you think and internalize (get emotionally involved with) are in control of the VIBRATION you’re in. As you become conscious of this vibration, you refer to it as how you are “FEELING.”

There is a connection between your FEELINGS, what you ATTRACT to yourself, and the RESULTS you get in your life. The vibration, or feeling, you are in leads to the actions you take, and your actions create the results you experience in life.

When you understand the Law of Attraction, instead of allowing the outside world to dictate what you think and how you feel inside, you start to live from the inside out by choosing and focusing on thoughts that align with what you want. This causes changes in your vibrational field to attract or create the results you seek in life.

  • The Law of Perpetual Transmutation

This law explains that everything in the universe that we can see, hear, smell, taste, or touch, together with our emotions, is the manifestation of energy in various levels of vibration.

Energy is in a constant state of transmission and transmutation. Energy is the cause and effect of itself and can be neither created nor destroyed.

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation decrees that energy (the nonphysical level of life) is always moving into physical form.

Thoughts are energy; therefore, any idea or image that is held in the mind and properly nourished must move into its physical counterpart because the emotions are expressed through the body, and the body moves into action which produces the results.

This law explains the creative process. It also explains prayer. Prayer is the movement that takes place between spirit and form with and through you.

  • The Law of Rhythm

The Law of Rhythm embodies the truth that everything is moving to and fro, flowing in and out, swinging backward and forward. It shows us that there is always a reaction to every action.

This law governs the movement of the planets in their orbit and also manifests in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms. It can be observed in the rising and setting of the sun and moon, ebb and flow of the tides, coming and going of the seasons, and in the rhythmic swing of consciousness and unconsciousness.

You are not going to feel good all of the time; no one does. If you did, you wouldn’t even know it. The low feelings are what permit you to enjoy the high feelings.

When you are in a downswing, know the swing will change, and things will get better. Good times are coming—choose to think of them.

  • The Law of Relativity

In the study of this law, we find that all things are relative, including all laws.
All laws are related to each other and correspond with each other. Every law must be in harmony, agreement and correspond with each other. An understanding of the Law of Relativity will give you the means of solving many of the secrets of nature that seem paradoxical.

For example, all rates of vibration are either high or low, only by comparison with those above or below them. All sizes are relative too.

Imagine three dots labeled “A,” “B,” and “C.” “A” is the smallest dot, and “C” is the largest. When you relate “B” to “A,” “B” looks big. However, when you relate “B” to “C,” “B” looks small. The obvious truth is that “B” is neither big nor small, “B” just “IS.” We make “B” what it is by how we work with this law. Everything in life just “IS.” We make a thing big or small, high or low, negative or positive by comparing it to something else.

Recognize that everyone does something better than you and, likewise, you do something better than every person you meet.

When you relate something you do that you are not proficient at, to something another person does that they have mastered, you will not look good. That is using the law against yourself. Instead, make a habit of using this law to your benefit—to heighten your self-esteem. You will then become aware of how special you are in the light of truth.

  • The Law of Polarity

The Law of Polarity decrees everything in the universe has its opposite: hot—cold… good—bad…inside—outside. You have a right and left side to your body, a front and back. Every up has a down, and every down has an up.

The law of Polarity not only states that everything has an opposite … it is equal and opposite. If it were 3 feet from the floor up on to the table, it would be 3 feet from the table down to the floor; it could not be any other way.

Step into your power by realizing and applying the Law of Polarity. Start using your mental faculty—perception—to see both sides of a person, situation or circumstance. You will be empowered and inspired.

Applying the Law of Polarity will help you move forward in the direction of your dreams because you will realize that everything in your life “just is” and you make it negative or positive by how you choose to think about the situation. It is your choices, not your circumstances, that will create the life you so desire.

  • The Law of Cause and Effect

Ralph Waldo Emerson called the Law of Cause and Effect, “the Law of Laws.” This law decrees that whatever you send into the Universe comes back. Action and re-action are equal and opposite.

Everything in the entire universe happens according to law—there is no such thing as chance. Every effect must have a cause; and in turn, that cause must have an effect. Thus, we have the perpetual, never-ending cycle of cause and effect.

You are, of course, very interested in the effects in your life—your physical health, your relationships, the respect you earn, your income. You must concentrate on the CAUSE, and the EFFECT will automatically take care of itself. Say good things to everyone, treat everyone with respect, take care of your body and it will all come back. That is how the Law works.

  • The Law of Gender

The Law of Gender is, in truth, the Creative Law. This Law decrees that everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist. The Law of Gender manifests in the animal kingdom as sex. It also manifests in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms.

Without the dual principle of male and female in all things, there could not be a difference of potential, a perpetuation of motion, nor regeneration. All new things merely result in the changing of something that was, into something else that now is—a caterpillar into a butterfly or a thought into physical reality.

Consciousness, or thought, is the masculine energy, whereas the life force that brings form to the thought in physical reality is the feminine energy. Together, one experiences both the masculine and feminine energy, which is known as the creative process.

The Law of Gender also decrees that all seeds (ideas are spiritual seeds) have a gestation or incubation period before they manifest. In other words, when you choose a goal or build the image in your mind, a definite period of time must elapse before that image manifests in physical results.

For anything to grow, however, it requires energy. Plants require solar energy, for example. Our thoughts and ideas thrive on the energy we give them. In fact, there is one way to shorten the incubation period needed for an idea to manifest into physical form — through concentration. The concentration of thought relative to an idea increases more energy on that idea, bringing it more quickly into manifestation.

What is the Law of Attraction?

How Does it relate to Manifestation Techniques?

Grouped in with the term “manifesting” is also of the idea of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction: What it is and how it works. While manifesting something is a tool to getting what we want, The Law of Attraction is more of a rule.

This rule basically states that we will attract in life that which we focus on. Therefore if we focus on the negativity in our lives, our situation will only grow more negative. However, if we focus on the positive aspects of life and have goals set in place for our future, we will find a way to achieve them.

Think about something as simple as the way you start your mornings. If you wake up metaphorically on the wrong side of the bed, think about how your persona and actions throughout the day may differ from if you had woken up with a positive mindset, ready to conquer whatever comes at you.

Maybe you’re more likely to pick a fight with a friend or family member. Maybe you don’t even try to accomplish your to-do list. The list could go on and on.

While we can’t always control our emotions (and that’s a natural part of life), our mindset does certainly impact our actions and can play a huge role in accomplishing our goals.

Another good example is a person who doesn’t believe they have the ability accomplish their dreams, so they don’t even have the courage to try. For example, I meet a lot of people who want to start a blog and turn it into a business. However, they don’t know how and consequently believe that they’ll never learn or know enough to be successful.

They tell themselves the space is “too saturated” (so untrue), and there’s no way they can find their niche and make an impact because there’s too many people already doing it to stand out.

But believe me, there is no secret sauce. Anyone can do it, if you put your mind to it. It’s all about hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Sure there is a huge learning curve (one I’m still riding!), but the first step to getting started is getting started. That’s the truth about almost anything in life; the first step to accomplishing something is believing that it’s actually possible.

How to Set an Intention for Manifestation for Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment.

First Step in Using All Manifestation Techniques

Setting an intention is giving yourself direction. You’re not letting life simply happen to you, but you’re controlling your own destiny by your daily thoughts and actions.

Think about the things in your life that you want to change, or certain goals you want to achieve. Your intentions don’t have to be material things, but they can be. In simple terms, setting an intention for manifestation is similar to setting a goal you’d like to achieve.

One thing you may want to do while setting an intention is think about your values and what is important to you in life. Why do you want to achieve something? What will it do for you?

This not only helps you to get to know yourself, but it also helps drive you towards the root of your desires, making sure you’re manifesting meaningful, positive things that will contribute to your life in a significant way.

When you figure out what your intention is, you may want to write it down. This makes it real, and it brings that thought and intention into the world so you can start working on making it come true.

The Wheel of Life and What It Does

Wheel of Life Definition

The Wheel of Life is a visual tool or worksheet used in coaching to help clients quickly understand how balanced or fulfilled their life is in this moment.

The wheel consists of 8 (and up to 10) categories or areas that are important for a whole or balanced life. Clients rate their level of satisfaction with each area, then map this onto an image of a wheel. This gives them an immediate overview of their current “life balance”.

Crucially, the life wheel allows clients to see right away which areas of their life might need improvement.

The life wheel technique gives clients a helicopter view of how satisfied they are with their life in key predefined categories such as health, finances and relationships.

For many coaches, including myself, the life balance wheel is a central tool in their coaching practice. It’s a powerful tool because it provides an instant overview for both coach and client.

Wikipedia describes the Wheel of Life as a coaching tool used in life and management coaching to assess coaching priorities. But more than just an assessment, the coaching wheel helps clients become more self-aware and more motivated to make changes and create a fulfilling life. Through self-knowledge, it empowers and gives our clients focus and direction.

The Key Categories on the Wheel of Life

The Coaching Wheel usually has 8 categories for life balance, although sometimes it has as many as 10. These categories can be changed and the wording customized for each client as needed. And sometimes categories are split into two for more granular scoring.

List of categories and their common alternatives:

  1. Family and Friends: I usually split “Family and Friends” into “Family” and “Friends”. I do this for myself, and also offer it as an option to my clients.
  2. Significant Other: Other category name ideas include “Dating” or “Life Partner”.
  3. Career: “Motherhood”, “Work” or “Volunteering” are alternative labels you could use.
  4. Finances: Other label name ideas include “Money” or “Financial Security”.
  5. Health: The category name could be split into “Emotional” and “Physical”.
  6. Home Environment: This category can change to “Work Environment” for career or business clients.
  7. Fun & Leisure: The category name could change to “Recreation”.
  8. Personal Growth: The category name could be “Learning” or “Self-Development”.

Fill Out The Life Balance Wheel to Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

We like to get clients away from devices and distractions. We want to help clients slow down so they can connect more deeply with themselves and what truly matters.

Coaching Tip: Print out this exercise and fill it in with a pen, rather than complete an online version. Just holding a pen and being away from a screen will help clients have a better result.

Overview

When we score our satisfaction levels against each of the wheel categories, this gives us a great helicopter view of what is – and isn’t – working for us in life.

The client rates their satisfaction with each category on the wheel by drawing a line to rate the different segments as to how satisfied they are in each area. By doing this our client will clearly see which areas of their life need attention.

Once completed the wheel will likely look ‘bumpy’. The client may then choose to set goals or create an action plan around the areas of life where satisfaction is low.

You can also use this tool regularly with the same client to check in. Doing this will help you both see how your client’s life balance progresses during the coaching relationship.

How to Use the Wheel of Life to Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

  1. Client to review the 8 categories on their Life Balance Wheel. If necessary they can split or rename category segments to add in something that is missing, or make it more meaningful for them.
  2. Client ranks their level of satisfaction with each area of their life by drawing a curved line across each segment (see image for example). Scoring is between 1 (very dissatisfied) and 10 (fully satisfied). TIP: It can be helpful to demonstrate how to draw the line and add each score to their wheel.
  3. The perimeter of the circle represents their “Wheel of Life”. Ask your client to look at their completed wheel and ask, “If this was your Wheel of Life, would it be a bumpy ride?”
  4. Coach your client around their learnings from their Coaching Wheel.
  5. Identify at least one action for your client to work on to improve their score in one area of the wheel – and thus improve their life balance.

How does the Wheel of Life Coaching Tool Works to Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

In this busy world it can be hard to know how we really feel. We may look at our lives and say, “Oh yes, I’m happy”. But when we get into the detail, there are often dis-satisfactions and areas that can be improved.

This tool works because it gives a fast overview of how satisfied a client is with their life. The visual scores enables both client and coach to see which life areas the client feels good about—and which may need some work.

Ideally, the coach will then dig deeper into the results using coaching questions to discover what specifically is getting in the way of a client’s ease and happiness. The next step is often to brainstorm and come up with an action plan.

Then, when action planning, a client can prioritize and begin with the areas of their life that have the lowest scores. The goal is to identify actions to raise their satisfaction levels.

How to use The Wheel of Life in Coaching to Manifest Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment. (Examples)

The Life Balance Wheel is the most flexible tool in any coach’s toolbox. It demonstrates first-hand the power of coaching. And it can also be used as a check-in tool throughout the coaching relationship.

The wheel also makes a great handout for workshops and can be adapted (through labelling the wheel segments differently, or simply asking coaching questions to delve deeper) to almost any coaching situation—and there are many more ideas below.

With a prospective client. Often potential clients are unclear on exactly what they want a coach to help them with. Sometimes prospective clients may be shy to share personal issues with someone they’ve only just met. The life balance wheel is a great tool to build trust in the coaching process. It gives an overview of how satisfied the client is with their life, and also demonstrates the power of coaching and self-inquiry.

To set and prioritize goals. Help clients decide which areas they’d like to set goals around. These are usually, but not always, the life wheel areas with lower satisfaction scores. The satisfaction scores can also be used to prioritize which goals to work on first. You may also like this SMART Goals Special Report .PDF

Demonstrate progress and the power of coaching. I do a Wheel of Life with all new clients. Then I do another Coaching Wheel with them after about 3 months. The client’s life satisfaction scores have almost always increased, sometimes dramatically. This makes the life wheel a great way to demonstrate progress in a coaching relationship! For more details read: A Simple 3 Step Process to Measure Coaching Progress.

As a Life Check-in. The Life Balance Wheel makes a great tool to “check-in” with how people are doing. This can be how they’re feeling about their life today, this week or month. And once the client knows how to complete the Wheel of Life, they can use it themselves to see what areas of their life might need a tweak.

As a diagnostic tool to look for sources of stress or dissatisfaction. When a client feels unhappy, frustrated or down, the Wheel of Life scores makes a great start point for discovering what might be bothering them.

In a coaching program. Any time you start a coaching program with a client – whether it’s group or individual coaching – the Life Balance Wheel is a great way to “take stock” of a participant’s current life situation. For example, we use a version of the coaching wheel called “Brighten Up Your Life” at the beginning of our Renew You, Love Your Life Coaching Program.

Use it in Workshops. The Life Balance Wheel makes an excellent introduction to any life coaching workshop. It’s also a great tool to help clients understand where their stress is coming from in a stress management workshop. You may like this article that helps coaches run a short workshop using the life wheel.

Use the Life Balance Wheel to help a client envision how they would like their life to be. Using the 8 key Wheel of Life categories, your client can write in each wheel segment what they would like their life to look like. They could also draw or cut out and paste pictures into each life wheel segment.

Include a Life Wheel In your new client’s welcome packet! The Life Balance Wheel makes a great tangible coaching tool for clients to complete before starting their coaching sessions with you. Coaches can then review the life wheel results and coach clients deeply in the very first session! That’s why we include the Wheel of Life (with instructions) in our top-selling Coaching Welcome Packet!

The Coaching Wheel can be used as a way to “test” which goals are most meaningful for a client. Ask the client to score each of their goals according to whether it improves their satisfaction in each of the 8 life wheel categories. Learn more about how to use the Wheel to Create More Meaningful Goals here.

Customize the Wheel and adapt it to whatever thorny problem your client is having! Simply grab a blank coaching wheel and ask them to add the 8 biggest things stressing them out right now. Then score out of 10 how stressful each thing is. Or try asking your client to label the segments with 8 key things that make them a good mom/dad/leader/friend. Then they score themselves according to how well they think they are doing in each area, and wrap-up by creating an action plan to move forwards. How and Why to Customize the Life Balance Wheel

Often what holds our clients back is a lack of conscious awareness about a situation. This might be how they feel or how they’re getting in their own way. So, while the Wheel of Life Exercise is usually used for life balance; a blank wheel can be used to understand almost any situation more deeply. And once your client is more aware of how they feel – and the factors at play in their current situation – you can coach them to identify actions or goals to improve it.

How to Customize the Coaching Wheel for Manifesting Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

  1. First get yourself a brandable, free version of the customizable Blank Coaching Wheel.
  2. Next, decide the topic you’d like to explore with your client.
  3. Then, using a blank coaching wheel, ask your client to add a title to the top of the page eg. My Stress Wheel, Leadership Wheel, (Find a) Relationship Wheel etc.
  4. Then ask your client to label the 8 blank wheel segments according to their topic. Some ideas include:
    • The 8 most important things to remember in this situation.
    • The Top 8 contributing factors to the situation.
    • outcomes they are hoping for.
    • The 8 areas they need to—or would like to work on.
  5. Then ask your client to rate each segment. What they rate will depend on the topic – some ideas include the level of importance/satisfaction/dissatisfaction/comfort/progress etc. with each of the 8 areas.
  6. Then choose an area to explore more deeply, or brainstorm actions with them to move forwards with.

3 Specific Examples of How to Use the Coaching Wheel Differently for Manifesting Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment.

  1. Promotion Wheel: Help your clients get that promotion!
    • Ask your client to identify 8 key areas they need to get their promotion.
    • Tip: Your client may need to do some pre-work to identify necessary skills/knowledge. For example, online research, talking to their boss or reviewing the job specification.
    • Next ask your client to score how close they are to being seen as fully competent in each area.
    • Then help your client devise an action plan to
      • Raise their competency levels in the areas they fall short and
      • Highlight their competence and strengths in areas where they already excel.
  2. Stress Wheel:
    • Help clients identify their sources of stress by labelling the wheel with 8 sources of stress in their life.
    • Next ask your client how much out of 10 each area “stresses them out”.
    • Finally, wrap-up by brainstorming an action plan, or identifying 1-3 actions they can commit to, that will reduce their stress.
  3. Parenting Wheel: Help clients prioritize which areas of their parenting to focus on.
    • Ask clients to label a blank wheel with 8 things they consider important to be a good parent.
    • Then ask them to score how well they are doing in each area.
    • Finally, develop an action plan starting with those with the lowest (or even boosting the highest first!) scores.

Some other Coaching Wheel Customization Ideas

  • Evaluate Relationships: Use the coaching wheel to raise awareness of what qualities matter most in a potential partner. You can also use it to evaluate a current relationship or discover who energizes and drains us.
  • In Career and Executive Coaching: Help clients make a decision, get stronger after a disappointment or gain deeper understanding of a situation!
  • And for even more ways to customize the Coaching Wheel: contact us.

So, that’s just a few ways you can customize the Wheel of Life Exercise for specific types of clients to get the most from this incredibly powerful tool!

Why Clients love the Coaching Wheel for Manifesting Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

The wheel is a powerful and ancient symbol – deeply embedded in the human psyche. It suggests movement, the cycle of life, change, the opportunity to steer our life, balance, sustenance and more. And I believe this symbolism runs deep in our consciousness.

The wheel is also a client favorite because it gives people an instant helicopter view of their life. This knowledge allows people to see for themselves which areas of their life feel good – and which need working on. And this is empowering! It allows our clients to make different choices as to where they focus their time and energy for a more satisfying life.

Considerations for Using the Life Balance Wheel for Manifesting Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

Life Balance is personal and unique to each individual; what may be satisfying or balanced for some may be stressful or boring for others. Crucially, the Wheel of Life Exercise raises a client’s awareness. And it’s this that allows the client to plan a more satisfying life that’s closer to their own unique definition of balance.

It’s also helpful to assess balance over time. A regular check-in (eg. with this exercise) can highlight useful patterns and help your clients learn even more about themselves. You can do this with them, or recommend they do it for themselves.

But remember that balance is rarely achieved for long – as life shifts and changes often. It’s helpful to remind clients that the goal is not to “achieve” life balance. Instead, the idea is to ensure they are moving “towards” rather than away from it.

Balance and self-care are under-rated skills in our society. As coaches we are therefore perfectly positioned to help clients take better care of themselves.

What if the Client has done the Wheel before?

This is a question I am often asked (probably because I’m so enthusiastic about this tool!). Because it’s such a familiar tool to us, we forget that most people have probably never even seen it! And if our client has seen the wheel before – that’s great! It means they already know how to complete it, and you can spend more time delving into issues and brainstorming actions!

Another important thing to remember is; even if your clients have done the coaching wheel before, their answers will be different today than when they completed it 3 months ago. What the Life Balance Wheel does is provide an snapshot of people’s life satisfaction. And this changes over time – sometimes from one week to the next!

So, your client has seen this exercise before? Great! Just make sure you’re clear why you’re using it with them now. This means ensuring they know WIIFM (What’s In It For Me!).

How can I Use the Wheel of Life Exercise with Online or Phone-Based Clients?

We want to get people off devices and using pen and paper. So although we’ve looked at creating an online version of the wheel – we don’t want to! This is because people already spend so much time on laptops/tablets and phones. An online version would keep people connected online when we want them connected to themselves!

So, what’s the easiest way to work with paper-based tools if you’re working with clients over the phone?

  1. Email the tool for your client to print out.
  2. Once they’ve completed the form, whether during the session or as homework, ask your clients to take a picture with their smartphone.
  3. Lastly, they can message, text or email the picture of their completed form back to you. Simple!

This is an easy solution because people are now used to using their phones for everything. This has worked like a charm for me, and gives the best of both worlds!

Lastly, another idea is to send in the life balance wheel via (snail) mail in your Welcome Packet. This is what I did when starting out with my new clients.

Wrap-up

The Wheel of Life Assessment is an extremely powerful and flexible tool. However you use your wheel, it gives our clients an insight into themselves. And this understanding gives people clarity – and motivation – to make changes and improve their lives.

And what turns the life wheel into a power tool is when a client is coached to explore their results more deeply. This means asking those questions that raise a client’s awareness about how they feel – and what matters most to them.

And importantly, where they sabotage themselves. Then when coaching expands to include brainstorming and committing to actions – a client feels powerful, motivated and like they are in control of their lives!

Using the coaching wheel can be just the beginning of a long and meaningful relationship between coach and client! And it’s a great tool to kick-off the relationship as you mean to continue – powerfully!

How to Get What You Want for Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment.

The Andrew Carnegie Success Formula

The method by which DESIRE for riches can be transmuted into its financial equivalent or anything you want, consists of six definite, practical steps, viz:

  1. First. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say “I want plenty of money.” definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness which will be described in a subsequent chapter).
  2. Second. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as “something for nothing.)
  3. Third. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.
  4. Fourth. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.
  5. Fifth. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
  6. Sixth. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning.

AS YOU READ-SEE AND FEEL AND BELIEVE YOURSELF ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MONEY OR THE THING YOU DESIRE.

It is important that you follow the instructions described in these six steps. It is especially important that you observe, and follow the instructions in the sixth paragraph. You may complain that it is impossible for you to “see yourself in possession of money or thing you desire” before you actually have it.

Here is where a BURNING DESIRE will come to your aid. If you truly DESIRE money so keenly that your desire is an obsession, you will have no difficulty in convincing yourself that you will acquire it.

The object is to want money or thing you desire, and to become so determined to have it that you CONVINCE yourself you will have it.

To the uninitiated, who has not been schooled in the working principles of the human mind, these instructions may appear impractical. It may be helpful, to all who fail to recognize the soundness of the six steps, to know that the information they convey, was received from Andrew Carnegie, who began as an ordinary laborer in the steel mills, but managed, despite his humble beginning, to make these principles yield him a fortune of considerably more than one hundred million dollars. 13 Steps for Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment.

The Power of Thoughts

Focused on the premise that “thoughts are things,” the book extols you to let positive and successful thoughts permeate your mind, so that they can “influence both your conscious and subconscious.” The Power Of Thought By Henry Thomas Hamblin

By managing and controlling your dominating thoughts, you’re better able to steer your way towards greater success – and riches – in all aspects of your life. To accumulate any form of success in great abundance, you need to “magnetize” your mind with an intense desire, create a definite plan, and believe that you’re able to do so. The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind By Dr Joseph Murphy

#1 The Subconscious Mind

To energize and feed your subconscious mind with positive thoughts, you should use autosuggestion to give ‘instructions’ that focuses on the 7 positive emotions: The Subconscious Mind Hacking your Subconscious Mind Napoleon Hill The Power Of Your Mind

  1. The emotion of desire
  2. The emotion of faith
  3. The emotion of love
  4. The emotion of sex
  5. The emotion of enthusiasm
  6. The emotion of romance
  7. The emotion of hope

At the same time, you should avoid any thoughts associated with the 7 negative emotions:

  1. The emotion of fear
  2. The emotion of jealously
  3. The emotion of hatred
  4. The emotion of revenge
  5. The emotion of greed
  6. The emotion of superstition
  7. The emotion of anger

An interesting point here involves the power of prayer. Here, it is suggested that if you pray for a thing but have fear as you pray that you may not receive it, your prayer will have been in vain!

#2 The Brain

Equating the brain to a “broadcasting and receiving station for thought,” Hill described how the brain, mind and subconscious works. The Brain

Let me extract some of its excerpts below:

“The creative imagination is the ‘receiving set’ of the brain, which receives thoughts, released by the brains of others… When stimulated or stepped up to a high rate of vibration, the mind becomes more receptive to thought which reaches it through outside sources.”

“The subconscious mind is the ‘sending station’ of the brain, through which vibrations of thought are broadcast. The creative imagination is the ‘receiving set’ through which the energies of thoughts are picked up.”

“… the principle of autosuggestion, which is the medium by which you may put into operation your ‘broadcasting’ station.”

11 Steps to Impregnate Your Subconscious Mind for Manifesting Lasting Happiness, Joy, Growth, and Fulfillment

#1 Desire

Your starting point for any achievement is desire. Desire How To Turn Your Desires And Ideals Into Reality By Brown Landone Emmet Fox – Your Hearts Desire And The Golden Key

To turn any desire into “gold, Guided Meditation The Angelic Ladder Of Desire. We suggests six practical steps:

  1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money or thing that you desire.
  2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money or thing you desire.
  3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money or thing you desire.
  4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.
  5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money or thing you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
  6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read – see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.

#2 Faith

Faith is the “eternal elixir” which gives life, power and action to the impulse of thought! – Napoleon Hill

Considered the most powerful of major positive emotions together with love and sex, faith can be strengthened through the principle of autosuggestion. Neville Goddard – Faith Neville Goddard Works Of Faith, Not Miracles Neville Goddard Imagination Plus Faith Believe You Can Succeed And You Will

It is a state of mind which can be built through positive thoughts mixed with strong emotions.

To clear your mind of fear, doubt and unbelief, we proposed the following faith affirmations to build your self confidence (abridged):

  • I know I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life;
  • I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment;
  • I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform into physical reality; therefore, I will concentrate my thoughts for 30 minutes daily on thinking of the person I intend to become and creating a clear mental picture;
  • I know through the principle of autosuggestion that any desire which I persistently hold in my  mind will eventually seek expression through some physical means; I will devote 10 minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of self-confidence;
  • I have clearly written down a description of my definite chief aim in life; and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment;
  • I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others;
  • I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealously, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity;
  • I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself;
  • I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory, and repeat it aloud once a day, with full faith that it will gradually influence my thoughts and actions so that I will become a self-reliant, and successful person.

#3 Autosuggestion

Auto Suggestion rides on the power of self-suggestion to reach the subconscious mind and influence it with positive thoughts. The Afformations Meditation – Questions To The Field Guided Meditation Everything Is Working To My Advantage

In contemporary parlance, it is known as the power of visualization – a technique used by coaches everywhere to “trick” your subconscious mind into believing in a possibility through repeated instruction. Guided Meditation Large Sums Of Money Come To Me Easily And Quickly

Here’s how we suggests it can be done:

  1. Find Ideal Environment: Look for a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed
  2. Close Eyes and Repeat Aloud: State the written statement of how much money you desire, the time limit for its accomplishment, and the description of the service or product you intend to give for the money.
  3. Repeat: Do this morning and night until you can see in your imagination the money you wish to accumulate.
  4. Written Copy: Place a written copy of your statement where you can see it night and morning, and read it just before retiring and upon arising until it has been memorized.

#4 Specialized Knowledge

Knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end – Napoleon Hill

Specialized Knowledge in a specialized and valuable field is where power and wealth can be found. The Science of Getting Rich By Wallace Wattles Unabridged with Commentary

Knowledge will not attract money unless it is organized and intelligently directed through practical plans of action to the definite end of accumulation of money. Dr. L.W. De Laurence The Secret Of Abundance And The Art Of Getting Rich

To deepen your specialized knowledge, you should spend your time and money on both formal and informal education. Be Rich! By Robert Collier This can be done by selecting highly specialized courses in the subjects that you wish to focus on. How To Command Riches

#5 Imagination

Imagination is touted as “the workshop of the mind,” Neville Goddard The Art Of Imagining The Secret Of Imagining Creativity, Imagination And Visualization

Neville Goddard Imagination Fulfills Itself Understanding Neville Goddard and How To Use The Imagination Neville Goddard Imagination: Neville Goddard Imagining Creates Reality

Dr. Joseph Murphy – The Wonders Of A Disciplined Imagination Howard E Hill Imagination The Magic Key That Unlocks The Mind Creativity, Imagination And Visualization

Imagination can be classified into two distinct forms:

  • Synthetic Imagination: The ability to arrange old concepts, ideas, or plans into new combinations. This harnesses your experience, education and observations, and is mostly used by inventors.
  • Creative Imagination: This is where the finite mind of man communications directly with Infinite Intelligence. It is represented through “hunches” or “inspirations” received by the subconscious.

Like any organ or muscle, your imagination can only be more alert with use. To strengthen your ideas generating mind machine, you need to have a plan.

#6 Organized Planning

To turn your abstract ideas concrete, you need Organized Planning for action. Orison Swett Marden – How To Get What You Want This can be done through several steps.

A) Form a Master Mind Group

Mastermind Principle Ally yourself with a group of like-minded folks for the creation and execution of your plan (or plans). Before doing so, decide what advantages and benefits you may offer the individuals of your group. Christian D Larson Imagination and The Master Mind

Arrange to meet with these members at least twice a week or more often if necessary, and maintain perfect harmony with every team member.

B) Build Your Leadership Capability:

Napoleon Hill ‘Leadership laws’ 4 Tips to Improve Leadership Skills | Brian Tracy

Here, are some of the attributes of leadership which we should all aspire towards:

  • Unwavering courage
  • Self-control
  • A keen sense of justice
  • Definiteness of decision (more later)
  • Definiteness of plans
  • Doing more than being paid for
  • Pleasing personality – leaders can’t be slovenly or careless
  • Sympathy and understanding
  • Mastery of detail
  • Willingness to assume full responsibility
  • Cooperation of others

In the same breath, we should also avoid the failures of leadership:

  • Inability to organize details
  • Unwillingness to render humble service
  • Expectation of pay for what we “know” instead of what we do with that which we know
  • Fear of competition from followers
  • Lack of imagination
  • Selfishness
  • Intemperance (eg losing control through use of alcohol or drugs or other vices)
  • Disloyalty
  • Emphasis of title

C) Apply for Right Position

In this hefty section, we learn about how we should market our “personal services” as an individual to an organization, and secure the desired job.

Much of it involves sourcing for the right opportunities through multiple channels (job ads, employment agencies, letters of application, personal networks) and creating a perfect “brief” (ie resume and cover letter).

You should also consider the following steps:

  1. Decide the exact job you want
  2. Choose company or individual you wish to work for
  3. Study your prospective employer’s policies, personnel and chances of advancement
  4. Concentrate on what you can give; forget about “a job”
  5. Arrange with an experienced writer to write a good resume summary and cover letter for yourself
  6. Present to the proper person with authority

D) Use the “QQS” Formula

Adopt the following:

  • Quality of service: the performance of every detail, in connection with your position, in the most efficient manner possible, with the object of greater efficiency in mind
  • Quantity of service: the habit of rendering all the service of which you are capable, at all times, with the purpose of increasing the amount of service rendered as greater skill is developed
  • Spirit of service: the habit of agreeable, harmonious conduct which will induce fellow employees and associates to cooperate

E) Conduct a Self Assessment

To avoid the major causes of failure, it is useful to conduct a personal inventory assessment. In the book, we’re given a detailed list of 28 questions which you can ask yourself (you can find  a copy here.)

F) Look for Opportunities

Finally, your plan should include taking stock of opportunities to gain wealth. This can be in virtually any industry where market demand outstrips supply.

#7 Decision

Opinions are the cheapest commodities on earth. – Napoleon Hill Decision How to Make Decisions Robert B Stone How To Use Metaphysical Power To Make The Right Decisions

Citing procrastination as the greatest enemy of success, the book extols us to make decisions quickly, and to change decisions slowly.

A key factor here is to reach your own decisions, and ignore the opinions of everybody else – the newspapers, gossiping neighbours, family members, friends, and others.

Worthy decisions often require immense courage. However, they’re always worthwhile to act upon.

#8 Persistence

Persistence is the cornerstone of any form of worthwhile endeavor. Neville Goddard Persistent Assumption Neville Goddard Whatever You Believe In And Persist In Will Come To Pass It allows you to overcome your failures, and to withstand the journey along the long road to success.

There are 4-steps:

  1. Definite Purpose: Backed by a burning desire for fulfillment.
  2. Definite Plan: Expressed by continuous action.
  3. Independent Mind: Closed against all negative and discouraging influences, including negative suggestions of relatives, friends and acquaintances.
  4. Friendly Alliance: Forming a Master Mind with one or more persons who will encourage you to follow through with your plan and purpose.

#9 Power of the Master Mind

Power of The Master Mind is defined as “coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose,” the forming of a Master Mind allows you to multiply your brain power. Christian D Larson Imagination and The Master Mind Guided Meditation: The Quantum Mastermind

Mr Andrew Carnegie’s Master Mind group, for example, consisted of 50 staff members whom he surrounded himself with for the purpose of manufacturing and marketing steel.

By  identifying and enlisting people into your Master Mind group, you can increase your power – here it refers to the organized effort required to enable you as an individual to “transmute desire into its monetary equivalent.”

#10 The Mystery of Sex Transmutation

The Mystery of Sex Transmutation “When driven by this desire (ie sex), men develop keenness of imagination, courage, will-power, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times.” – Napoleon Hill

This chapter invariably confounds readers. What it seeks to communicate, is this:

Can you convert your energies, emotional intensity and creativity for sexual expression into a positive force that will bring forth riches?

To do so, consider this two-step approach to transmute your sexual energy in a positive way:

  1. Mental Stimulation: Stimulate your mind so that it functions on a higher-than-average plane, using the same intensity and desire of a sexual encounter.
  2. Form Perfect Picture: Concentrate on the known factors of your invention, and create in your mind a perfect picture of unknown factors. Hold this picture steady until it has been taken over by the subconscious mind, and then wait for your answer to “flash” by your mind.

“The emotion of sex stands at the head of the list of human emotions, as far as intensity and driving force are concerned… The result of sex transmutation is the increase of thoughts to such a pitch that the creative imagination becomes highly receptive to ideas.” – Napoleon Hill

#11 The Sixth Sense

The Sixth Sense is some call this your intuition or “hunch.” Others may call it your “genius” or “muse.” Jane Roberts – Seth On The Inner Senses, What They Are And How To Use Them Rediscovering Your Supersense

Whatever (or whomever) your source of inspiration may be, Hill suggests that your sixth sense can be nurtured by cultivating in your creative imagination a team of “Invisible Counselors.” In his case, they included men like John Emerson, Thomas Paine, Thomas Edison, Charles Darwin, Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon Bonaparte, Henry Ford, and Andrew Carnegie.

By forming an imaginary cabinet, you can ‘tap’ the ideas, thoughts and knowledge of these distinguished luminaries in your mind!

Dispelling Negative Influences

Hill elaborated at length about the The Six Basic Fears and how these could derail your efforts:

  • The Fear of Poverty:
  • The Fear of Criticism
  • The Fear of Ill Health
  • The Fear of Loss of Love
  • The Fear of Old Age
  • The Fear of Death

To overcome these and all other negative thoughts, he suggests the following practical steps:

  1. Recognize that you have a will-power that can be put into constant use
  2. Recognize that you are susceptible to all the six basic fears
  3. Set up habits to counteract those fears
  4. Recognize that negative influences work through your subconscious mind
  5. Keep your mind closed against all people who depress or discourage you in any way
  6. Clean out your medicine chest, throw away all pill bottles, and stop pandering to your hypochondria
  7. Deliberately seek the company of people who influence you to think and act for yourself
  8. Do not expect troubles as they have a tendency not to disappoint

2. Keep a Gratitude Journal

One of the biggest keys to manifesting something into fruition is changing your mindset. Good things generally take time, and it can be all too easy to slip into a negative space in our heads when we’re not meeting our goals. Try keeping a gratitude journal (I like this 52 week gratitude journal here), where you keep track of the things you are grateful for daily.

This can not just be a good tool for manifesting, but it’s also something that many people find helpful when they’re struggling with depression and/or anxiety. It’s important to focus on the positive! THE GRATITUDE MEDITATION

3. Two Cup Method

The two cup method is one of those manifestation techniques that is a bit more spiritual. Manifesting means something different to everyone, and there isn’t necessarily one “right” way to do it, so choose which method works best for you and your current situation. If you’d like to try the two cup method though, simply get out two cups.

Fill one cup, and label it with your current situation (i.e. single, lonely, or however you’re feeling right now). Label the empty cup with the situation you hope to manifest (i.e. loving relationship).

Once you have the cups labeled, reflect for a moment on your current situation and how you will feel once you reach your desired outcome. Holding onto that positive feeling, pour the water from the current situation cup to the desired situation cup. Drink all the water in this desired situation cup, and rip up the label from the current situation cup.

Hold onto the label from the desired situation cup, and know that you’re now attracting the situations that will will lead you to whatever your desired outcome is. Manifest With Me: THE TWO CUP METHOD + Quantum Jumping | DOES IT WORK?

4. 55 x 5 Method

The 55 x 5 method is one of the manifestation methods that is perfect for people who need to practice positive affirmations. All you need to do to practice the 55 x 5 method is think of the thing you want to manifest, and turn it into an affirmation.

Then, write down this affirmation 55 times every day for five days in a row. For manifestation techniques to really work, remember to stay present and keep your head focused on your desired outcome. While some people consider manifestation techniques to be magic, it’s really just training our subconscious to be more accepting of the things that we want and creating our own positive experiences through a good mindset.

This is exactly what the 55 x 5 method does!

15. “I remember when” Manifestation Techniques

Another simple manifestation technique, the “I remember when” exercise only requires you to complete the statement “I remember when…”, filling in the rest of the sentence with your current situation, as if you’re existing happily in the future already having accomplished your goal. Guided Meditation The “I Remember When” Meditation Continue on by describing your desire as if it’s already happened and is your current reality you’re living. The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between something real and something imagined, so take advantage of this!

16. Eavesdropping Technique

Another manifestation technique that requires you to use your imagination, the eavesdropping technique includes picturing what it might be like to eavesdrop on a conversation between two people about yourself, after you’ve achieved your desire. For example, you might imagine eavesdropping on two people talking about your beautiful new car, if you’re manifesting a new ride.

17. “Congratulations” Manifestation Techniques

Similar to the eavesdropping technique, the “Congratulations” technique involves imagining yourself being congratulated for a certain accomplishment you’re manifesting. Neville Goddard manifestation technique: Congratulation technique: The most powerful method to use? This tricks your mind into believing that what you desire is bound to happen and is entirely possible.

18. Intentions Journal

Another great way to practice manifesting is through an intentions journal. Understanding How To Use The Power Of Intention Put your intentions out into the world, and you are recognizing them as real and valid. The Coordination of Intention Principle in Reality Transurfing® – The essence of Transurfing

19. Future Self Q&A

Visualizing your future self is a common thread among almost all manifestation techniques. Live Q and A – Secrets of Reality Creation For this manifestation exercise, write down a list of Q&A’s for your future self, from the perspective that you have already achieved your desire. This is yet another way to trick your subconscious into believing your goals are possible to attain and to get on track to a better mindset.

20. Letter From Future Self

Like the Future Self Q&A strategy, the letter from Future Self Manifestation Strategy consists of writing a letter from your future self to your present self. A message from your future self Guided Meditation Create Your Perfect Future In this letter, you will discuss the goals you have accomplished in great detail and how rich your life has become. Psychometry The Key To The Past Present And Future (with Meditation)

21. Place Mat Process

The Place Mat Process is a manifestation technique where you divide a piece of paper into two equal sections with a line through the middle. Abraham Hicks Money Manifestation *The Placemat Process* On one side, you list out the things you would like to accomplish for the day. On the other side, you list out the things you would like the Universe to do for you today.

This manifestation strategy strongly aligns with The Law of Attraction and the belief that the Universe, or some other higher power, plays a role in how our lives unfold. Whether you are a spiritual person or not, you can still take advantage of this manifestation technique and make it work for you.

22. Fake it ‘Til You Make it Manifestation Techniques

When I read You are a Bad*ssone of the biggest takeaways for me was the idea of faking it until you make it. Even years after reading this book, I still think about this manifestation technique and life skill.

While the goal of faking it until you make it isn’t necessarily to copy others (because let’s be real, that won’t get you very far), I interpret this strategy as behaving as your future self would once you’ve “made it”.

For example, if I wanted to be a famous writer I would write every single day and push myself to complete a novel because that’s what I would imagine famous writers do.

It doesn’t matter that I don’t have any experience as a writer, because I’m getting started nonetheless and developing the confidence to practice my craft…which is the first step on the staircase to success.

23. “How Did I?” Technique

A powerful way to manifest your goals involves using the “How Did I?” technique. This manifestation technique involves imaging yourself in the future, looking back and contemplating how you accomplished your desire. This should give you some actionable ways to start moving towards the goalpost, by examining what strategies may get you to that finish line.

24. Refine Your Focus

Sometimes manifesting doesn’t work, because we’re not manifesting the right things for ourselves. How to Get Your Brain to Focus | Chris Bailey | TEDxManchester If you don’t feel like your manifestation techniques are quite working, step back and try refining your focus and intentions. This may involve getting more detailed about your intentions, or creating actionable steps to get there.

25. Examine Your Why

Last but not least, an important manifestation technique is to examine your why. This is an important step in how to define your intentions for manifestation, and it ensures that you are manifesting the right things, for the right reasons. If you’re not manifesting for the right reasons, the above manifestation strategies simply won’t work!

[1]: How is the MKS Master Key System Plan Different From Other Planning Processes?

The unique approach of the MKS Master Key System Plan process is the attention we devote to getting perspective. All too often, the temptation is to move straight to planning.

In the process, which has been around for 40+ years, we spend up to 70% of our time getting clear perspective across every area of your life – your backstory, your current reality, your talents, your heart, and your thinking; and across every domain of your life – personal, family, vocation, and community.

Only when you have clear perspective do we move to planning.  We don’t just guide others; all of our Plan Guides have themselves gone through the process and are living out their own Plan; we only guide others on a journey that we ourselves are on.
