In many of my Blog articles I have explained my understanding and application of the MKE Simple Success Formula.  I would recommend you review my “Life Plan Blog Article. It is titled: MKE: 2021 A Year for Your Great Reset” It is a companion Blog article to this one.

The Master Key System is a brilliant system to create a Self-Directed Life Master Plan and a Way to obtain your Desired Results.

The Master Key System gives you a brilliant System to create a Life Plan in your Self-Directed Life Master Plan. Use the diagram as an example help you get started. In the end you will obtain your Desired Results.

If you can start giving your life dimensions, design, color, objectives and purpose, the results can be absolutely staggering.  It all starts with application of the System.

The most important benefit of setting a Life Master Plan is not achieving your goal or achievements. It is what you do and the person you become in order to achieve your dreams, goals, and results. That is the real benefit.

  • Life Planning and Goal Setting is powerful because it provides focus. They shape our dreams. They give us the ability to hone in on the exact actions we need to perform to achieve everything we desire in life.
  • Life Planning and Goal Setting are great because they cause us to stretch and grow in ways that we never have before. In order to reach our dreams, goals, and results, we must become better.
  • Life is designed in such a way that we look long-term and live short-term. We dream for the future and live in the present. Unfortunately, the present can produce many difficult obstacles.

Life Planning and Goal Setting provides long-term vision. We all need powerful, long-range planning and goals to help us get past those short-term obstacles. Fortunately, the more powerful our Life Planning and Goal Setting are, the more we will be able to act on and guarantee that they will actually come to pass.

KEY ASPECTS

The key aspects of your Life Master Planning and Goal Setting are as follows:

Key [1]: Evaluate and reflect.

The only way we can reasonably decide what we want in the future and how we will get there is to know where we are right now and what our current level of satisfaction is.

First, take some time to think through and write down your current situation.

The purpose of evaluation is twofold.

  • First, it gives you an objective way to look at your accomplishments and your pursuit of the vision you have for life.
  • Secondly, it shows you where you are so you can determine where you need to go. Evaluation gives you a baseline to work from.

Take a couple of hours this week to evaluate and reflect. See where you are and write it down so that as the months progress and you continue a regular time of evaluation and reflection, you will see just how much ground you are gaining—and that will be exciting!

Key [2]: Define your dreams and goals.

One of the amazing things we have been given as humans is the unquenchable desire to have dreams of a better life and the ability to establish and set goals to live out those dreams.

  • We can look deep within our hearts and dream of a better situation for ourselves and our families.
  • We can dream of better financial, emotional, spiritual, or physical lives.
  • We have also been given the ability to not only dream but pursue those dreams—and not just pursue them, but the cognitive ability to lay out a plan and strategies to achieve those dreams. Powerful!

What are your dreams and goals?

This is not what you already have or what you have done, but what you want.

  • Have you ever really sat down and thought through your life values and decided what you really want?
  • Have you ever taken the time to truly reflect, to listen quietly to your heart, to see what dreams live within you?

Your dreams are there. Everyone has them. They may live right on the surface, or they may be buried deep from years of others telling you they were foolish, but they are there.

Take time to be quiet.

This is something that we do not do enough of in this busy world of ours. We rush, rush, rush, and we are constantly listening to noise all around us. The human heart was meant for times of quiet—to peer deep within.

It is when we do this that our hearts are set free to soar and take flight on the wings of our own dreams. Schedule some quiet “dream time” this week. No other people. No cellphone. No computer. Just you, a pad, a pen, and your thoughts.

Think about what really thrills you.

When you are quiet, think about those things that really get your blood moving.

  • What would you love to do, either for fun or for a living?
  • What would you love to accomplish?
  • What would you try if you were guaranteed to succeed?
  • What big thoughts move your heart into a state of excitement and joy?

When you answer these questions, you will feel great and you will be in the “dream zone.”  It is only when we get to this point that we experience what our dreams are.

Write down all of your dreams as you have them. Do not think of any as too outlandish or foolish—remember—you are dreaming! Let the thoughts fly and take careful record.

Now, prioritize those dreams. Which are most important? Which are most feasible? Which would you love to do the most? Put them in the order in which you will actually try to attain them. Remember, we are always moving toward action—not just dreaming.

Make your Master Life Plan S.M.A.R.T.

The acronym S.M.A.R.T. means Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-sensitive.

5 Things You Can Do Right Now to Affect Positive Change at the Employer-Level | by Julia Rose | AppExchange and the Salesforce Ecosystem | Medium

5 Things That Affect You, Your Life Master Plan and Your Goals

But before you can do that, you need to know the five primary things that affect all of us:

1.    The Environment:
2.    Habit-Events:
3.    Knowledge:
4.    Results:
5.    Our Dreams:

Create Your Life Plan

Learning to creat a Master Life Plan and set goals can transform your life forever. There is power in reaching out into the future, designing something to the best of your ability, refining it as you go, tearing it up periodically if you want to, setting a whole new list. It is your life. It is your future.

3 Components of Life Planning and Powerful Goals

The major reason for Life Planning and Goal Setting is for what it makes you do to accomplish it. This will always be a far greater value than what you get. That is why goals are so powerful. They are part of the fabric that makes up our lives.

Life Planning and Goal Setting is powerful because it provides focus, shapes our dreams, and gives us the ability to home in on the exact actions we need to take in order to get everything in life we desire. Life Planning and Goal Setting cause us to stretch and grow in ways we never have before. In order to reach our goals, we must become better—we must change and grow.

Powerful Life Planning and Goals have three components:

  • They must be inspiring.
  • They must be believable.
  • They must be goals you can act on.

Life is designed in such a way that we look long term and live short term. We dream for the future and live in the present. Unfortunately, the present can produce many hard obstacles. Fortunately, the more powerful our Life Plan and our Goals (because they are inspiring and believable), the more we will be able to act on them in the short term and guarantee that they will actually come to pass.

So, what are the key aspects to learn and remember when thinking about and writing your Life Plan and Goals? Here is a closer look at Life Planning and Goal Setting and how you can make it forceful and practical:

Key Aspect 1. Evaluation and Reflection

The only way we can reasonably decide what we want in the future and how we will get there is to first know where we are right now and what our current level of satisfaction is. With our focus on a Life Plan and goal setting, the first order of business is for each of us to set aside some serious time for evaluation and reflection.

Key Aspect 2. Dreams and Goals

What are your dreams and goals? Have you ever really sat down, thought through your life values, and decided what you really want? This is not what someone else says you should have or what culture tells us successful people do or have. These are the dreams and goals born out of your own heart and mind, goals unique to you and that come from who you were created to be and gifted to become.

Key Aspect 3. SMART Life Plan and Goals

SMART means Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-sensitive.

  • Specific: Do not be vague. Exactly what do you want?
  • Measurable: Quantify your goal. How will you know if you have achieved it or not?
  • Attainable: Be honest with yourself about what you can reasonably accomplish at this point in your life while taking into consideration your current responsibilities.
  • Realistic: It has got to be doable, real, and practical.
  • Time: Associate a time frame with each goal. When should you complete the goal?
Key Aspect 4. Accountability

The word accountable means to give an account. When someone knows what your goals are, they help hold you accountable. Whether it is someone else trying to reach the same goal with you or just someone you can give the basic idea to, having an accountability partner will give you another added boost to accomplishing your Life Plan and goals.

So, evaluate and reflect. Decide what you want. Be SMART. Have accountability. When you put these four key pieces together, you put yourself in a position of power to catapult toward achieving your Life Plan and Goals and the kind of life you desire.

Self-image: The way you see yourself matters most

Key Aspects 1. Evaluation and Reflection

The basis for knowing where we want to go is knowing where we came from and where we are. It is also knowing how well we have done achieving things we have previously set our eyes on. This is the essence of evaluation and reflection. We need to understand how to look at what we have done and then use that as a platform for what we want to do next.

The process of evaluation is relatively simple but can be varied a bit. The important point is having a process. Here is the basic process for evaluation and reflection:

1. Find a quiet place.
2. Take regular time.
3. Look back.
4. Write it down. Keep a record.
5. Look forward. Set your next goal. Stretch yourself according to what works for you.

Why evaluate?

The purpose of evaluation is twofold. First, it gives you an objective way to look at your accomplishments and your pursuit of the vision you have for your life. Second, it shows you where you are so you can determine where you need to go. Evaluation gives you a baseline from which to work.

“The unexamined life is not worth living.”

To evaluate and reflect brings us face to face with who we are. More important, it allows us the time to dream and create a vision for what we want to become. Only when we take time out of our busy schedules can we get into the state of mind and quietness of heart we need in order to find that inner place.

Those who never take time to evaluate and reflect will blow to and fro through this life, living by the forces of culture, circumstances, societal pressures and, unfortunately, personal weaknesses.

In contrast, those who take the time to evaluate will find they are like an oak tree in a storm: They have a firm foundation, they know where they are going, they know how to get there, and, ultimately, they will get there no matter what comes their way.

ASSIGNMENT: Take a couple of hours this week to evaluate and reflect. See where you are and note it in your journal so that as the months progress and you continue a regular time of evaluation and reflection, you will see just how much ground you are gaining—and that will be exciting!

Key Aspect 2.  Dreams and Goals

One of the amazing things we have been given as humans is the unquenchable desire to have dreams of a better life and the ability to establish and set goals to live out those dreams.

We can look deep within our hearts and dream of a better situation for ourselves and our families. We can dream of better financial, emotional, spiritual, or physical lives. We have also been given the ability to not only dream but pursue those dreams—and not just pursue them, but the cognitive ability to lay out a plan and strategies to achieve those dreams. Powerful!

What are your dreams and goals? This is not what you already have or what you have done, but what you want. Have you ever really sat down and thought through your life values and decided what you really want? Have you ever taken the time to truly reflect, to listen quietly to your heart, to see what dreams live within you? Your dreams are there. Everyone has them. They may live right on the surface, or they may be buried deep from years of others telling you they were foolish, but they are there.

You have to ask the hard questions to get excited about your dreams, and then you have to translate that excitement into strategic action to pursue all that you want. These are the disciplines that will help unleash the power of the dreams inside of you:

Listen to yourself.

How do we know what our dreams are? This is an interesting process and relates primarily to the art of listening. This is not listening to others; it is listening to yourself. If we listen to others, we hear their plans and dreams, and, at times, others will try to put their plans and dreams on us. If we listen to others, we can never be fulfilled. We will only chase elusive dreams that are not rooted deep within us.

Instead, we must listen to our own hearts to hear the dreams born out of the passions and desires we each uniquely possess. Just like when you are quiet enough to hear your own heart beating within your chest, your dreams have their own rhythm. All you have to do is get quiet enough to hear the beat.

Take time to be quiet.

Taking the time to be quiet is something we do not do enough in this busy world. We rush, rush, rush and are constantly listening to noise all around us. We must not get faked out by just being busy. Instead, we must constantly ask ourselves the question, “Busy doing what?” In other words, are the activities you are participating in moving you toward your goals? If not, then work to eliminate those things and replace some of that time with quiet.

The human heart was meant to have times of quiet reflection, allowing us to peer deep within ourselves.

What would you love to do, either for fun or for a living? What would you love to accomplish? What would you try if you were guaranteed to succeed? What big thoughts move your heart into a state of excitement and joy? When you answer these questions, you will feel terrific because you are in the “dream zone.” It is only when we get to this point that we can truly realize and begin to experience what our dreams are.

Make a list and prioritize.

Write down all of your dreams as you have them. Do not think of any as too outlandish or foolish— remember, you are dreaming! Let your thoughts and pen fly as you take careful record.

Now look at your list and prioritize those dreams. Which are most important? Which are most feasible? Which would you love to do the most? Put them in the order you will actually try to attain them. Remember, we are always moving toward action, not just dreaming.

Why am I asking you to take part in this exercise? It is because life is too short not to pursue your dreams. At the end of your life, all you will be able to do is look backward. You can reflect with joy or regret. And we all know that joy from discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.

Those who dream, who set goals and act on them, are those who live lives of joy and have a sense of peace when they near the end of their lives. They will have finished well and possess a sense of pride and accomplishment, not only for themselves but also for their families. That feeling is priceless!

Remember: Dreams and goals are born out of your heart and mind, goals unique to you, and they come from who you were created to be and gifted to become. Your specific goals are what you want to achieve because they will make your life joyful and bring fulfillment for both you and your family.

20 Personal SMART Goals Examples to Improve Your Life

Key Aspect 3: SMART Life Plan and Goals

The acronym SMART is one of the key aspects of goal setting because we want to be smart when we set our goals. We want to intelligently decide what our goals will be so that we can actually accomplish them. We want to set the goals that our heart conceives, that our mind believes and that our bodies will carry out. Let us take an even closer look at each of the components of SMART goals:

Specific: Goals are no place to waffle. They are no place to be vague. Ambiguous goals produce ambiguous results. Incomplete goals produce incomplete futures. When we are specific, we harness the power of our dreams and set forces into action that empower us to achieve our goals. We then know exactly what it is we are shooting for—there is no question.

As we establish our priorities and manage our time, we do it for a specific goal, to achieve the results we expect. There is no wondering or guessing. The future is locked into our minds, and we see it—specifically—and that is powerful! Never underestimate just how important it is to have very specific, concrete goals. They act as magnets that draw you toward them. A SMART goal is specific.

Measurable: Always set goals that are measurable— “specifically measurable” to consider the principle of being specific, as well. A SMART goal is measurable.
Attainable: One of the detrimental things many people do—and they do it with good intentions—is to set goals that are unattainable. It is also imperative to make sure they are attainable.

An attainable goal is one that is both realistic and doable in a shorter period of time than what you have to work with. “Attainable” does not mean easy. Our goals should be set so that they are just out of our reach, so that they challenge us to grow as we reach forward to achieve them. A SMART goal is attainable.

Realistic: The root word of realistic is real. A goal has to be something that we can reasonably make “real” or a “reality” in our lives. .

This is in no way to say it should not be a big goal, but that goal must be realistic.

This is, to a great degree, up to the individual. For one person, a goal may be realistic, but for another, unrealistic. Be very honest with yourself as you do your planning and evaluation. It might be good to get a friend to help you, as long as that friend is by nature an optimist and not a pessimist. This can go a long way toward helping you know what is realistic.

Knowing that perhaps you could use a bit of help differentiating between attainable and realistic, here is an example: Let us say you are overweight and need to lose 150 pounds to get to your ideal weight. Is that goal attainable? Yes, if you also make it realistic. For example, it is not realistic to think you can do it in five months. Eighteen to 24 months would be more realistic (with hard work). Thus, losing 150 pounds in two years is both attainable and realistic, while losing 150 pounds in five months is neither attainable nor realistic. A SMART goal is realistic.

Time-sensitive: One of the powerful aspects of a great goal is that it has an end, a time in which you are shooting to accomplish it. A SMART goal has a timeline.
Are you Accountable? - PSQI

Key Aspects 4. Accountability

Now let us look at how to apply the SMART test to your goals and ensure they are powerful.

As a contract with yourself or someone else, accountability is a vital key in the goal-setting process. Accountability puts some teeth into the process. If a goal is set and only one person knows it, does it really have any power? Many times, it does not. At the very least, it is not as powerful.

When someone knows what your goals are, they follow up and hold you accountable by asking you to “give an account” of where you are in the process. Human nature is such that when we know someone else is going to ask us about it, we are much more motivated to get it done—if for no other reason than we do not want to look lazy and uncommitted. This is why having an accountability partner is so important.

[a]: Internal Accountability

Internal accountability is essentially the level of integrity you maintain not only throughout the evaluation process but also in life. It means that when you look at yourself, you judge yourself with honesty. This is where you hold yourself accountable to doing what you said you would do. If you have messed up, say, “I’ve messed up,” but if you have done well, then you can celebrate your progress. Let the internal accountability prod you and spur you on to greater action in pursuit of your achievements.

So, first and foremost, it is our responsibility to hold ourselves accountable. We answer to ourselves. We take charge of ourselves. How do we do that? Here are a few ideas:

  1. Write down your goals so they become “objective.” You cannot go back and say, “That wasn’t really my goal.”
  2. Be ruthlessly honest with yourself when you assess whether or not you have met the goal. Of course, if you were specific in setting your SMART goals, you will not have much wiggle room here, anyway.
  3. If you fall short of your goal, or if you are falling short while on the way, knuckle down and hold yourself accountable to do what it takes to make up the ground so that you can hit that goal!
  4. Set a time frame in which you will evaluate your progress and hold yourself accountable.
 [b]: External Accountability

Find someone else or a group of others to hold you accountable. When we commit to giving an account to someone else for our actions and goals, we take it to the next level.

The external part of accountability will not work without the internal aspect. If you are not honest with yourself, then you will probably not be honest with others. Asking someone to hold you accountable and then knowing you will not be completely honest with them will never work.

Having an outside source of accountability is a powerful force if done right. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you set up an accountability partner:

  1. Choose someone who cares about you but can be tough and honest with you. They need to care about you—and you have to know and feel that care—because you become vulnerable by making yourself accountable to them. They need to be tough and honest, though, because you do not want to have them shy away from telling you to get on the ball when you are slacking, getting behind or not doing the job. The expression “tough love” would fit appropriately here. In essence, they love us enough to be honest with us about our progress.
  2. Tell them specifically what your goals are.
  3. Commit to being honest with them.
  4. Give them permission to speak words of encouragement, as well as words of challenge when the situation calls for it.
  5. Agree on a reasonable time frame in which you will allow them to evaluate your progress and hold you accountable.
  6. Follow up on their words when they challenge you or call you to action.

Accountability can be a tremendous thing. There is an old proverb that says one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put 10,000 to flight. When we have someone holding us accountable, we bring others onto our team who will make us stronger, who will make us soar higher and who will cause our lives to be much richer because of their involvement.

Take a moment and really consider who you will make yourself accountable to in the pursuit of your goals. Now, go back through the words above and begin to work this process out in your own life. You will be extraordinarily glad you did.

Changing Your Perception

Creating more positive perceptions of our Master Life Plan and goals can dramatically increase our engagement, focus, productivity, and motivation, and thus increase the speed by which we attain them.

Here is how you can start painting the target in your own life

Strategy 1: Zoom in on the target (proximity).

Research has shown the closer people get to a target, the harder and faster they work. Write down all of the work you have done and all of the strides you have made so far. Reminding yourself of past successes will help your brain perceive that you are closer to the ultimate target.

Strategy 2: Magnify the target (likelihood of success).

The bigger a target appears, the more your brain believes you will hit it. Look at your current circumstances. Are there areas where you believe you could never hit a home run because the fences seem a mile away? Simply move the fences in so it seems easier.

Strategy 3: Recalculate thrust (energy required).

To achieve any Life Plan or Goal, a certain level of energy is required. The lower the mental cost, the faster your speed toward success. Research has shown that by changing your perception of these costs, you can increase your speed toward your target by as much as 35 percent.

Conclusion:

We have come back to the Master Key System Success Formula.

We have a Definite Major Life Purpose, a Postiive Mental Attitude, a Written Plan of Action and a Master Mind Association. We will now succeed in our Master Life Plan and Goal Setting for all the days of our life.

MKS: A Year for Your Great Reset

Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021. “If you do not design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” – Jim Rohn

2021 should be the year of the ‘Great Reset’

Are you feeling the need for a change, or wanting to improve on something in 2021? 2020 was a year unlike any other and a year that most people will be glad to see the end of. Even more reason to focus on the inspiring, the good, the positive and the possibility of the next year ahead! 2021 could be a historic one—and in a positive way a “Great Reset” for you.

Join the 9% with a Failproof Self-Directed Life Master Plan and Results

There are three big reasons why people to fail achieve their Major Definite Purpose, Life Plan or Goals:

  1. They are selected poorly
  2. They are designed poorly
  3. They are implemented poorly

There is a reason less than only 9% of people actually follow through on their New Year’s resolutions. Change does not come easy, so it is important to take of every advantage you can in order to maximize your chances of success.

It is so common to fail when we set ambitious plans for ourselves. It reveals a painful gap between the person we are and the person we want to be. But it does not have to be that way.

With a more deliberate approach to plans, goals, resolutions, and commit to do exactly that, you will make this year your best year yet.

Making sure your Life Plan fit each of these criteria significantly increases your chances of achieving it.

Let us dig into each of these categories a little bit deeper.

Specific. The Life Plan must be clearly defined in order for you to effectively put together a plan to execute against the goal. .

Measurable. You need to be able to definitively measure whether or not you have accomplished your Life Plan, as well as how you are tracking toward accomplishing that goal.

Actionable. There need to be actions you can take to execute on your Life Plan. Otherwise, it is just a dream.

Realistic. You need to have a realistic plan for acting toward it.

Time-bound: Last but not least, the Life Plan needs to have a deadline. This forces action, creates a sense of urgency, and demands day-to-day consistency.

Why does SMART Life planning work so well?

“Life-planning processes like the MKE SMART System force people to translate vague aspirations into concrete plans. The process of making a plan specific and proving it is achievable involves figuring out the steps it requires — or shifting that plan.”

The clearer your plan, the simpler it will be to follow, and the more likely you will be to succeed in 2021 and beyond.

The MKE Self-Directed Life Plan and Success Formula

If you are serious about getting more done in 2021 and beyond than most do over the course of 10 years follow the plan.

You only have a short time to get started with the Master Key System and Experience.  It offers you a proven-world class Self-Directed Life Plan and much more.   It offers a simple personal success formula.

DMP + PMA + WPOA + MMA + = Life Success Formula

With this simple formula this could be the year that you…

  • Pay off thousands of dollars in debt
  • Lose weight (and feel GREAT about it)
  • Finish writing your book
  • Reconnect with your spouse
  • Get your degree
  • Start your new business
  • Increase your sales and profits
  • Pursue the career that has been on the back burner

What is a Self-Directed Life Plan?

A Self-Directed Life Plan is basically just that – a Plan for what you would like to do in your life. It helps you look at areas where you want to set new goals or make some changes. An example of some of these areas are show in the following diagram.

Most people have no idea what they are doing with their lives, but you are not going to be one of them if you use the Master Key System Self-Directed Life Planning System.

  • The Master Key System” documents minutely not only the methods, but the science behind the methods. A pivotal concept is the fact that Master Key System Self-Directed Life Planning does not mean creating a rigid to-do list for yourself.
  • ANYONE can control their circumstances and make their dreams come true with the system. Creating a Master Key System Self-Directed Life Plan is more akin to creating a massive action plan. You are acknowledging up front that hurdles will inevitably arise.
  • By developing and following your game plan, your days, weeks, and months all become part of a larger plan, a bigger design you develop, a long-term view of your life, a visual chain.

If you are looking for a clear plan to develop your potential, to become who you want to be and experience what you want to experience, we greatly recommend you enter on the path of The Master Key System. It will transform your life, guaranteed.

There are a lot of challenges in life. If you can become more conscious and have faith in a higher purpose, it will enrich your life in ways that are indescribable.

Start crafting the life you want to live now.

Like any good craftsman, you need a solid blueprint to guide you. But instead of creating a blueprint for a cedar chest, you will be drafting a blueprint for your life.

  • The best place to start when creating a one-five-ten year-plan is to jot down a list of things that are important to you and that you wish to accomplish in your life.
  • Next, create an end goal in each of these sections, and work backwards to figure out what steps you can take in the next five years in order to achieve these goals.

A Self-Directed Life Plan is really just meant to be general summary of where you are now in all the areas that matter to you, where you want to improve and what you would like your life to look like in the future. Do not be scared off by the title. It may sound ominous but creating a plan does not need to be a difficult process.

Wouldn’t you prefer a life of productivity rather than a life of endless tasks with little accomplishment? Of course!

When you carefully set your goals and keep them at the forefront of your mind, you can work smarter instead of longer. You will know that a life worth living comes from a life of balance.

In order to maintain that balance you can use “visual chain thinking” to help keep you on the right track.

Ambitious people know that each step toward their goals is not a singular step. They know they need to have and use “visual chain thinking.”

  •  Each discipline is not a singular discipline.  Each project is not a singular project. They see everything they do—and every discipline they adhere to—as a link in the chain of events and actions that will lead them to their final destination.

Every action and every discipline achieved today is a link in the “visual chain plan”. Every action and every discipline achieved tomorrow is a link in your “visual chain plan”. And every action and every discipline achieved in the more distant future is also a link in the “visual chain plan”.

Your direction, activities and disciplines all make up crucial links in your chain of success.

  • When you can see that one thing affects everything else, when you come to realize that every discipline affects every discipline, when you look at your future as a chain that needs strong links all along the way… then you will build a reservoir of strength and courage that will serve you will during the down times.
  • When you can see that every link in the chain will eventually lead you to the things you want most out of life and to the person you want to become, then you will not grow discouraged, fearful or impatient with today.
  • When you can see where you are going through visual chain thinking, even on the toughest days, you will keep moving toward your goals because you know where you are going.

Building your visual chain of thought begins when you have well-defined plans for your career, your family activities, your investments, and your health. Your plans and goals are your visual chain. You know where you are going before you get there.

It is ironic how we all understand the importance of mapping out a strategy for a football game or a basketball game. Not one professional team in the world begins a game without a game plan. But few of us take the time to map out such a strategy for our lives.

It is so important to make this sort of plan.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image-90.png

The first rule for your game plan of life:

Do not begin the activities of your day until you know exactly what you plan to accomplish. Do not start your day until you have it planned. Do this every day.

We know all this writing takes time and a disciplined effort. Remember, however, that reaching your life goals is the fruitful result of habit and discipline, not merely hope.

Once you have mastered the art of planning your day, you are ready for the next level.

The second rule for your game plan of life:

Do not begin the activities of your week until you know exactly what you plan to accomplish. Do not start your week until you have it planned.

Just imagine what life would be like if you took time out every Sunday to plan your week. Come Friday, you wouldn’t be saying, “Boy, did this week fly by.

Where did it go? What did I do?” No, if you plan your week before you start it, you will know exactly what you want to do, what you want to accomplish and what you need to work on.

If you learn to plan your days as part of your overall game plan for the week, the parts will fit much better. Your days will be better. You will be more effective. You will be working smarter, not harder.

And when you have learned to plan your week, guess what? You have got to plan your month! Do not start your month until you have mapped out your game plan.

By developing and following your game plan, your days, weeks, and months all become part of a larger plan, a bigger design you develop, a long-term view of your life, a visual chain. You will start gaining a greater perspective of it all… because you are planning.

If visually seeing your future is new to you, if you have never developed a game plan before, here are a few tips to help you. There are two things you need to understand before you create a game plan.

  1. A game plan, a visual chain of your future, is like a spreadsheet. Instead of listing numbers, list activities. It is like a to-do list.
  • The technique of developing a game plan can be used for a single day, a single project or a variety of projects that are happening simultaneously.

Here is how you do it.

  • Game plans work best on graph paper. Take a sheet of graph paper and make vertical columns corresponding to the number of days this plan is to cover.
  • Then on the left-hand side of the paper, write the heading “Activities.” Under this heading, list all the activities to be accomplished within your time frame.

For example, you have got one week to finalize a marketing plan. It is an overwhelming amount of work to complete, but it has got to be done. So, break it down piece by piece.

The best way to start is by listing all of the individual components on the left-hand side of the page.

Some of these things will need to be completed before others can be started. You need to obtain your market research results before you can determine your target market.

You need to know your target market before you can develop your marketing strategy. You need to have your marketing strategy before you can create a budget for collateral materials, and so on.

When you break down the project piece by piece and deadline by deadline, you can be more effective in putting together the appropriate parts of the puzzle—and in doing your own work while delegating the rest.

The final result of developing your life game plan [Self-Directed Life Master Plan] is anything you desire.

Self-Directed Life Master Plan is a clear visual presentation of the tasks before you. This method is used quite often in business to coordinate and develop projects of any length.

It is the only way to see the entire project on paper and manage its progress.

Admittedly, game plans are frustrating to create. They are frustrating because it is difficult to completely prioritize your life and all your projects. You might go through several sheets of graph paper before you produce the perfect format.

But as soon as you develop your first one, you will see the value in this discipline.

Keep your Self-Directed Life Master Plan in plain sight.

Put it up in your office where you can easily look at it. Have a copy of it at home and tape it to the bathroom mirror. Keep a copy in your journal for quick reference. Your Self-Directed Life Master Plan will serve as a constant reminder of all you need to do to get where you want to go.

If you are doing all you are scheduled to do, a Self-Directed Life Master Plan is very rewarding.

Day by day, week by week, month by month, you will see the magic of your dreams and plans turning into reality.

You will have an incredible feeling of being in charge of your life, your surroundings, and your future. It is like creating a work of art on the biggest canvas imaginable. It is creative. It is beautiful.

This is powerful stuff.

To dream a dream, plan for the dream, and then watch your dream turn into reality. Here is what is really powerful about creating Self-Directed Life Master Plan:

You can see your future right before your eyes.

So, on those days when your energy is not up to par, your enthusiasm is a little low, your ambition is not pushing you forward and your attitude is not on the positive side, use your game plan to see how far you have come.

Take the time to visualize exactly where you are headed in each areas of life.

On those days, it is your discipline and visual chain of the future that will push you ahead. People and circumstances might try to set you back, but your visual chain will propel you toward your goals.

PS. Your Mind Is an Instrument for Poverty or Prosperity

A gun could be used to kill someone you love, or protect that same someone.  A knife can be used for an attack, or to slice your sandwich.  Your mind has a similar possibility: It can be the instrument for your prosperity or your poverty.

No two people ever view the same event the same way. Where one may see a threat, the other sees opportunity.  Suppose you are offered a chance to participate in a business opportunity. You could approach this a number of different ways. In scenario one, you could jump in without any critical thought, just because you are enamored with the idea of getting rich and end up losing a lot of money.

Or scenario two: You decide that, for any deal you find out about, it’s already too late for you. You figure the “insiders” have already gotten all the sweetheart deals, and whatever has been promised to you is much too good to be true. So you pass up the chance to buy Amazon at $10 a share.

Let’s look at a third possible scenario: You get recruited to invest in a new start-up venture.  You are confident of your knowledge in the market, are self-confident, study the situation mindfully, and make a lucrative investment.  Meanwhile someone who isn’t as mindful or confident, passes on the same opportunity.

Of all the tools you can use to manifest your prosperity, your mind is the most powerful.

Do you see danger or opportunity? What are your core beliefs  about health, happiness, and prosperity?  Is your self-esteem positive or negative?  Do you believe you’re worthy of prosperity?  What type of vision do you have for your future?

Your greatest resource for prosperity is not your job or business, the government or economy, or your talents or skills.  Your greatest resource is your mind and how you harness the power of thought.

That is why we’ll provided and create with you a FREE coaching sesson onthe Self-Directed Life Master Plan with the Master Key System at your request.

MKE WEEK 16: Are You in It to Win It?

Week 16 of the Master Key System and Experience focuses on the Power and Law of Creation. “It’s never too late to be the person you might have been.” ― George Elliot

To Be or Not to Be? That’s one heck of question in this Pandemic.

The first six words of Hamlet’s Act III, Scene 1 soliloquy are without doubt the most famous line William Shakespeare ever wrote. It’s also one of the most recognizable quotes in the English-speaking world.

Six words.

All one syllable.

Not a single word over three letters long.

That’s the power of simplicity in action.

And simplicity in action is what this message is all about.

Whether your goals and dreams are TO BE OR NOT TO BE is solely dependent upon your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, associations and actions.

It’s as simple as that.

Untapped human potential is the greatest plague of mankind…and the quickest and easiest of all problems to solve.

On a global scale, there’s a chronic disconnect between thoughts and results. The goals that companies and individuals set for themselves far too frequently have little resemblance to the results they actually achieve.

In an effort to improve their results, most people will focus on effects and search for new ideas, strategies, and technology enhancements without ever focusing on the Universal Laws of Mind and Thought. This only succeeds in perpetuating the problem because they are looking for the solution in all the wrong places.

Here is the rub…

The #1 reason why individuals, teams and entire companies under-perform is not because of a lack of knowledge, intellect, experience, or information.

It is not because of poor cash flow.
It is not because of sub-par networking skills.
It is not because of intense competition.

While all of these factors play a part…they are not the main villain…they are merely symptoms of a much larger concern.

The primary reason and the root cause that holds people back from achieving their goals and unleashing their greatness is due to their failure to follow a very Simple Formula. A Formula which focuses on the Natural Laws of Mind and thought:

DMP + PMA + WPOA + MMA = Desired Results

This Simple Formula is a devastating competitive advantage…It is the ultimate force multiplier… It’s the reason why your dreams and goals are TO BE OR NOT TO BE.

The greatest waste of untapped resources in this world during this Pandemic are the Universal Laws, Power and Laws of thoughts, your hopes, dreams, ideas and intentions that don’t translate into purposeful results.

So what’s the solution?

We can state with the certainty of a man holding four aces… that your solution is in the Master Key System and Experience.

Improving your execution of this Simple Formula is the savviest move you can make as superior execution removes the barrier between the life you are now living and the one you are capable of living.

People can do magnificent things when they are willing to step into the arena, roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty using the Master Key System and Experience.

In Week 16the Master Key System and Experience focuses on the Power and Law to Create. It is broken down into several important areas to assure you if you are in it you will win it [whatever it may be].

[1]: Ben Franklin Kindness Virtue Makeover

The week has been very encouraging and uplifting for me personally in the Master Key System. In the Master Key Experience, we focused on the MKE-Franklin Makeover second virtue of kindness this week!

Wow, I am finding it everywhere! I love noticing it, I love giving it and I love even more doing Random Acts of Kindness also! Knowing I made a difference in someone else’s life.

Kindness Defined: noun:  The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

This is not a difficult task for me, as I do this anyway, without reciprocity, but it made me try even harder.

Best of all, we are not only focusing individually on kindness, but we are also doing so collectively.

Imagine if you will, just for a moment, what it might look like if the entire nation that we live in was part of this grand assignment that we are all blessed to be undertaking this week.

It had me thinking, how do we keep the momentum of kindness going?

The group has witnessed and performed thousands of acts of kindness.  I feel really good being a part of this week’s group effort and feel fantastic practicing the MKE Franklin Makeover techniques with intention.

[2]: MKE Og Mandino Makeover Greatest Miracle Exercise

Og Mandino told us, multiple times a day for the past two weeks that we ARE nature’s greatest miracle! Reminding us; that we did not come here to be ordinary. We came to make a difference, for ourselves and others!

[3]: MKE Part 16 Exercise

Charles Haanel, in this week’s Master Key, has us focusing our thoughts and intentions on Harmony and Happiness.  The Master Key System tells me to try to bring myself to a realization of the important fact that Harmony and Happiness are states of consciousness and do not depend upon the possession of things.

  • Things are effects and come as a consequence of correct mental states.
  • If I desire material possession of any kind my chief concern should be to acquire the mental attitude which will bring about the result I desired.
  • This mental attitude is brought about by a realization of my spiritual nature and my unity with the Universal Mind which is the substance of all things.
  • This realization will bring about everything which is necessary for my complete enjoyment.

This is scientific or correct thinking. When I succeed in bringing about this mental attitude it is comparatively easy to realize my desire as an already accomplished fact.  When I do this, I will have found the “Truth” which makes me “free” from every lack or limitation of any kind.

[4]: MKE Part 16 Exercise: Gaining Spiritual Power and Understanding of the Natural LAWS to Get What I Want!

Law of Periodicity.

The Master Key System tells us that the activities of the Universe are governed by a Law of Periodicity. Everything that lives has periods of birth, growth, fruitage, and decline. These periods are governed by the Septimal Law.

The Law of Periodicity provides that the whole universe undergoes minor and major periodic cycles. The doctrine of constant renewal is central to the Ancient Wisdom philosophy.

The Law of Periodicity, or Law of Rhythm, states that everything in the universe has a natural cycle. The ocean tides go in and back out, night follows day, cycles of cooling follow cycles of warming, the locust come out of the earth every 17 years, even woman’s monthly premenstrual cycles are based on this phenomenon.

The Law of Periodicity manifests itself as follows: Human life on the earth plane is divided into periods of seven years.

Law of Seven

The Master Key System tells us that every “thing” that lives has periods of birth, growth, fruitage, and decline. These periods are governed by the Septimal Law.”… The Law of Seven

By applying these as 7-year cycles to our Human Life Expressions, makes it much simpler to form and Reform energy in 7-year cycles with grace, elegance, and ease so we get what we desire.

According to The Law of Seven, everything in the universe is created and sustained by vibrations — energy enlivening matter produces vibrations.

Thoughts and feelings are vibrations, the wind rustling in the leaves is vibration, light reaching us from the sun and the stars is vibration. The whole of our life is vibration, everything that we perceive through our senses and everything we think feel and do.

The Law of Sevens governs the days of the week, the phases of the moon, the harmonies of sound, light, heat, electricity, magnetism, atomic structure. It governs the life of individuals and of nations, and it dominates the activities of the commercial world.

The Great Law Energy is. Each of the seven natural laws is a corollary to one great, overarching law: Everything is energy. In other words, we live in a kind of energy soup. Every molecule that makes up every bit of matter contains a huge amount of energy. Energy, which is essentially dimensionless, is everywhere and in everything.

Law of Seven Cycle of Life

The Master Key System tells me that life has a cycle and is growth. Growth is change.

Each seven-year period takes me into a new cycle.

  • The first seven years is the period of infancy.
  • The next seven the period of childhood, representing the beginning of individual responsibility.
  • The next seven represents the period of adolescence.
  • The fourth period marks the attainment of full growth.
  • The fifth period is the constructive period, when men begin to acquire property, possessions, a home, and family.
  • The next from 35 to 42, is a period of reactions and changes, and this in turn is
  • Followed by a period of reconstruction, adjustment, and recuperation, so as to be ready for a new cycle of sevens, beginning with the fiftieth year.

Law of Seven Cycle of Life and Hero’s Journey

Those familiar with these “Cycles of Life” will not be disturbed when things seem to go wrong. They can apply the principle outlined in the MKE lessons with the full assurance that a higher Law will invariably control all other laws, and that through an understanding and conscious operation of Spiritual Laws, we can convert every seeming difficulty into a blessing.

When people go through life changes, they will generally follow the 12 Steps and the 3 Acts found in the Hero’s Journey. The hero learns the rules of the new world and endures tests, meets friends, and comes face-to-face with enemies using these Spiritual Laws.

A person can turn any goal into an epic adventure and become the hero of their story if they follow the 12 Stages of The Hero’s Journey and understand the 3 stages of their journey.

The 12 Stages of The Hero’s Journey are: Ordinary World. This is where the Hero’s exists before his present story begins, oblivious of the adventures to come. Call to Adventure. Refusal of The Call. Meeting the Mentor. Crossing the Threshold. Tests, Allies, Enemies. Approach to The Inmost Cave. Ordeal.

The 3 Act Approach: The initial plan to take on the central conflict begins, but setbacks occur that cause the hero to try a new approach or adopt new ideas.

Taking the Hero’s journey you can gain the character, wisdom, and strategies to change your life to where you want it, or you can lead a team to prominence.

Spiritual Power and the Law

The Master Key System tells me that the power to create wealth or success depends entirely upon spiritual power. There are three spiritual power steps:

1. Idealization,

2. Visualization and

3. Materialization.

Every captain of industry depends upon this power exclusively.

In an article in Everybody’s Magazine, Henry M. Flagler, the Standard Oil multi-millionaire, admitted that the secret of his success was his power to see a thing in its completeness. The conversation with the reporter shows his power of Idealization, Concentration and Visualization.  All spiritual powers.

  • Do you have an actual Idealization, Concentration and Visualization of your present life and yourself [your whole life]?
  • Have you, or could you close your eyes and see your total life?
  • Do you see the events in your life?
  • Do you hear the events happening?
  • Did you go as far as that?” “Yes.” “How clearly?” “Very clearly.”

Law of Cause and Effect

The Master Key System tells me when I have a vision of my life [the law], I see “cause and effect.”

I see that thought precedes and determines action [effect].

If I am wise, I shall come into a realization of the tremendous fact that no arbitrary condition can exist for a moment.  That human experience is the result of an orderly and harmonious sequence of first thought and then result.

Thought is the plastic material with which I build images of my conception of life. Use of those thoughts determines my reality.  As in all other things my ability to recognize the Law of Cause and Effect and use it properly is the necessary condition for attainment of any and all my desires.

Law of Attraction

The Master Key System tells me the conditions with which I meet in the world without, correspond to the conditions which I find in the world within me. This is brought about by the Law of Attraction.

Application of Universal Laws

[1]: How then shall I determine what is to enter into my world [mind] within?

The Master Key System tells me whatever enters the mind through the senses, or the objective mind will impress my mind and result in a mental image which will become a pattern for the creative energies.

  • These experiences are largely the result of environment, chance, past thinking, and other forms of negative thought, and must be subjected to careful analysis before being entertained.
  • On the other hand, I can form my own mental images, through my own interior processes of thought regardless of the thoughts of others, regardless of exterior conditions, regardless of environment of every kind, and it is by the exercise of this power that I can control my destiny, body, mind, and soul.

The Master Key System tells us it is by the exercise of our spiritual power that we take our fate out of the hands of chance, and consciously make for ourselves the experiences which we desire, because when we consciously realize a condition, that condition will eventually manifest in our lives.

It is therefore evident that in the last analysis thinking is the one great cause in life. Therefore, to control your thought is to control your circumstances, conditions, environment, and destiny.

[2]: How then are we to control our thought? What is the process?

To think is to create a thought. The result of the thought will depend upon its form, its quality, and its vitality.

  • The form will depend upon the mental images from which it emanates. This will depend upon the depth of the impression, the predominance of the idea, the clarity of the vision, the boldness of the image.
  • The quality depends upon its substance, and this depends upon the material of which the mind is composed; if this material has been woven from thoughts of vigor, strength, courage, determination, the thought will possess these qualities.
  • Finally, the vitality depends upon the feeling with which the thought is impregnated. If the thought is constructive, it will possess vitality; it will have life, it will grow, develop, expand, it will be creative; it will attract to itself everything necessary for its complete development.
  •  If the thought is destructive, it will have within itself the germ of its own Dissolution. It will die, but in the process of dying, it will bring sickness, disease, and every other form of discord.

The Master Key System tells us our ability to differentiate it into form is our ability to manifest good or evil.

Good and evil therefore are not entities. They are simply thoughts and words which we use to indicate the result of our actions. These results are in turn predetermined by the character of our thought.

  • If our thought is constructive and harmonious, we manifest good.
  • If our thought is destructive and discordant, we manifest evil.

Creating Your Conditions

The Master Key System tells us if you desire to create a different environment [result], the process is simply to hold the ideal in your mind, until your vision has been made real.

Give no thought to persons, places, or things.  These have no place in the absolute. The environment you desire will contain everything necessary; the right persons, and the right things will come at the right time and in the right place.

It is sometimes not plain how character, ability, attainment, achievement, environment and destiny can be controlled through the spiritual powers of:

1. Idealization,

2. Visualization and

3. Materialization.

But this is an exact scientific fact.

The Master Key System tells us you will readily see that what we think determines the quality of mind, and that the quality of mind in turn determines our ability and mental capacity, and you can readily understand that the improvement in our ability will naturally be followed by increase in attainment and a greater control of circumstances.

Natural Law and Creative Process

The Master Key System tells us Natural Laws work in a perfectly natural and harmonious manner; everything seems to “just happen.”

Evidence of this fact is to simply compare results of your efforts in your own life when your actions were prompted by high ideals and when you had selfish or ulterior motives in mind. You will need no further evidence.

If you wish to bring about the realization of any desire,

  • Form a mental picture of success in your mind, by consciously visualizing your desire; in this way you will be compelling success, you will be externalizing it in your life by scientific methods.

We can only see what already exists in the objective world. What we visualize, already exists in the spiritual world.

This visualization is a substantial token of what will one day appear in our objective world if we are faithful to our ideal.

The reason for this is not difficult.

Visualization is a form of imagination. This process of thinking forms impressions on the mind. These impressions in turn form concepts and ideals. They in turn are the plans from which the Master architect will weave the future.

The psychologists have concluded that there is but one sense, the sense of feeling, and that all other senses are but modifications of this one sense.

This being true, we know why feeling is the very fountain head of our power, why our emotions so easily overcome our intellect, and why we must put feeling into our thought, if we wish results.

Thought and feeling is the irresistible combination.

Visualization must, of course, be directed by the will.

We are to visualize exactly what we want. We must be careful not to let the imagination run riot.

Imagination is a good servant but a poor master. Unless it is controlled it may easily lead us into all kinds of speculations and conclusions which have no basis or foundation of fact whatever.

Every kind of plausible opinion is liable to be accepted without any analytical examination and the inevitable result is mental chaos.

We must therefore construct only such mental images as are known to be scientifically true.

Subject every idea to a searching analysis and accept nothing which is not scientifically exact.

When you do this, you will attempt nothing but what you know you can carry out and success will crown your efforts. This is what businessmen call far-sightedness. It is much the same as insight and is one of the great secrets of success in all important undertakings.

Wealth Creation Under the Laws

The Master Key System tells us that wealth is a product of labor. Capital is an effect, not a cause, a servant, not a master, a means, not an end. The most commonly accepted definition of wealth is that it consists of all useful and agreeable things which possess exchange value. It is this exchange value which is the predominant characteristic of wealth.

When we consider the small addition made by wealth to the happiness of the possessor, we find that the true value consists not in its utility but in its exchange.

This exchange value makes it a medium for securing the things of real value whereby our ideals may be realized. Wealth should then never be desired as an end, but simply as a means of accomplishing an end.

Success Creation Under the Laws

The Master Key System tells us that Success is contingent upon a higher ideal than the mere accumulation of riches, and he who aspires to such success must formulate an ideal for which he is willing to strive.  With such an ideal in mind, the ways and means can and will be provided, but the mistake must not be made of substituting the means for the end. There must be a definite fixed purpose, an ideal.

Prentice Mulford said: “The man of success is the man possessed of the greatest spiritual understanding and every great fortune comes of superior and truly spiritual power.”

Unfortunately, there are those who fail to recognize this power. They forget that Andrew Carnegie’s mother had to help support the family when they came to America.  That Harriman’s father was a poor clergyman with a salary of only $200.00 a year.  That Sir Thomas Lipton started with only 25 cents. These men had no other power to depend upon, but spiritual understanding. It did not fail them.

Conclusion

From my MKE Week 16 exercises I learned to bring myself to a realization that harmony and happiness are states of consciousness.

  • They do not depend upon the possession of things.
  • That things are effects and come as a consequence of correct mental states.
  • If I desire material possession of any kind my chief concern should be to acquire the mental attitude which will bring about the result I desire.
  • This mental attitude is brought about by my realization of my spiritual nature and my unity with the Universal Mind which is the substance of all things.
  • This realization will bring about everything which is necessary for my complete enjoyment. This is scientific or correct thinking.
  • When I succeed in bringing about this mental attitude it is comparatively easy to realize my desire as an already accomplished fact.
  • When I can do this, I shall have found the “Truth” which makes me “free” from every lack or limitation of any kind in my life.

CONCLUSION

Mark Twain, who said…

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Your hopes and dreams are counting on you to show up and contact us.

That’s more than enough reason for you to throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, and execute with excellence. Make it the very next thing you do!
